I give up...

I’ve always relied on BBC Weather and other trusted sources, but this time, I decided to take a chance on Yr.no. I thought it would be different, so I planned my whole day around its forecast, convincing myself it was the right choice. I ignored the websites I knew I could count on, thinking that Yr.no would get it right.

But when the day came, everything went wrong. The weather was nothing like what I’d been promised. My plans were completely shattered, and I felt utterly lost, knowing I’d trusted the wrong service. The pain of watching my day fall apart—when I could have just relied on BBC Weather or other sources I knew would be accurate—was crushing.

The worst part is the betrayal I feel. I trusted Yr.no over everything else, and it let me down in the worst way. I can’t shake the frustration and sadness of knowing I made the wrong choice. My day was ruined, but what hurts even more is the trust I lost. I’ll never make that mistake again.

Once top, now worthless

It used to be a reliable site for weather predictions, but unfortunately it is all history. They can not even predict the weather of this moment: already for days heavy rain is predicted. Reality: no clouds, 26 degrees and a lot of suncream to be used. I will remove the app. Worthless!

And there are no ads!

My wife and I not only find YR’s predictions accurate and dependable, we also find their graphics the easiest to use. At a quick glance we can see an accurate prediction of the following weeks’ weather, constantly updated, with local sites of our choosing. When needed, we find them easy to contact—a rare thing these days.

Once marvellous ...but is now unreliable

This site used to be my rock. But for the last 6 months has become more and more erratic. Predicting heavy rain that never materializes, sun when overcast (and visa versa. I still look at it out of habit but dont make or break any plans based on their information

I'm at a loss with this weather…

I'm at a loss with this weather website. It used to be, by far, the most reliable weather site out there (at least for Ireland)
Then, something went profoundly wrong and now they can predict outrageous amounts of rain that never materialise.
This morning their forecast for dublin was a solid day of rain, heavy at times… looking at a sunny afternoon as I type. Same on Thu. I even cancelled plans on Thu based on their forecast.
Can yr.no please revert to former weather models?

I think that YR.no examine the tea …

I think that YR.no examine the tea leaves in the bottom of their early morning beverage or perhaps they throw bones to help figure what the weather for this afternoon or tomorrow might bring! For the last 10 days their forecast for wind, rain and sunshine has been constantly and horribly wrong for Kenton on Sea in South Africa. For example for today they say ‘Heavy Rain throughout the day moderate breeze 6m/sec. the reality is it is a partially cloudy, sunny day with hardly a breath of wind and not a rain cloud in sight! Perhaps Southern African weather is as difficult to predict as our politics!
