Awful company and and awful quality of products. Do not ever buy a zanussi, came with our new build and had problems with our fridge freezer and was 10 days out of warranty, thats why they offer only... See more

Absolutely disgusted by the fact that…
Absolutely disgusted by the fact that after only 8 months the cleaning drawer started melting down during cleaning cycles when supposed to cope with high temperatures. After noticed that, contacted Zanussi to get someone in since still on warranty and I have been told that this is not covered by the warranty. Clearly the manufacturer used a defective piece of plastic and I have to pay for a replace??? You are absolutely insane!
An absolute shambles to get anywhere…
An absolute shambles to get anywhere with them. I would rate them as either crooks or incompetent to the point they should be closed down. I will never buy Zanussi again and urge anyone else not to either.
Had 2 failures in just over two years
Had 2 failures in just over two years. The first an integral freezer was just over a year old. Zanussi said that product only had a years warranty as it was not registered online (which it was). The second an integral Fridge Freezer failed at just over 2 years. The part a controller is not stocked in the uk so we have to wait upto 2 weeks for a replacement. Zanussi have been totally useless.
Zanussi Bingo - New Build, Irreparable Fault
Same story as a lot of others here- new build + Zanussi products. After 3.5 years of service, my washing machine developed an unrepairable fault (spider arm broke) which meant the machine needed to be written off as it can't be replaced for less than the price of a new machine. For most of those 3.5 years I lived alone, with 3 washes per week. The machine was well maintained and cared for, but one day just packed up. I've bought a new machine, and you'll be unsurprised to hear it was not this brand. I'm guessing the only customers to this brand now are housebuilders who get cheap, rubbish machines.
Zanuzzi integral fridge freezer…
We had an integral fridge freezer installed by Wikes . 18 months old and the freezer part broke. Twice called out the engineers , each time they tried something only for a couple of hours later start beeping again . The upshot of it was we had to get a new Fridge Freezer . Zanuzzi products are not fit for purpose . I will never buy their products again.
I hate the reversed hob dials
I hate the reversed hob dials. Why change something that has been the norm for like ever! I've had the oven for approx 18 months now and still not used to it.
Terrible customer service
I called to arrange a fixed price repair, with an up front charge off £149. The T&C's were explained, which in a nutshell equated to - if the engineer can't fix it, the call out fee will still be charged (£80). If the repair doesn't work, then the same applies (£80 fee).
The engineer came to the house, no tools in hand, who assessed the work and ordered the parts - I get it - make sure the right parts are here. No contact was received within a few days so I called in, and was informed that one part had not arrived but was due to arrive on the Friday.
Fast-forward to mid-the following week, with no contact received. I called in again, and was told that the part would not be in until November(!!). I explained that we are a family of four, and November is totally ridiculous. I was offered a partial refund (-£80!) despite the fact that the engineer has done zero work. Not even attempted to repair.
I would not recommend this service at all. I understand that the engineer call-out has to be paid by someone, but this scenario is just ridiculous.
Zanussi / Electrolux suck
Zanussi / Electrolux have a Zanussi oven installed here at my house on Skye.
At 7pm on a Saturday in April 2025 I was cleaning the front of the oven as we were expecting guests for Sunday lunch obviously.
The outer sheet of plate glass was being being rubbed gently with Method Daily Kitchen and a microfibre cloth.
The outer sheet of glass detached itself from the paltry 2 strips of glue and exploded into a 1000 fragments of glass which filled a house with a concrete floor and two dogs. Thank you Zanussi.
Now on 17 July 2025 I go for a ride on my bmx at 1330. I return at 1430. I have missed my Highland Appliances engineer visit. Scheduled for the end of the day 17th July.
Since when has the end of the day in Scotland been 1430. Is Scotland just pure lazy?
I ring and complain. Let me lay this out for you simply. I rang Highland Appliances at 0930 today. They said we were the last call and due at the end the day.
What they meant was you will get the last slot and we have no idea what time that will be.
I suggest they spend less time watching "Back to the Future" and think seriously about the nature of time.
Time is a construct but not if you want to keep customers.
Appalling Service – Fridge Freezer Still Broken After 7 Weeks
I purchased Zanussi's Fixed-Price Repair service (£149) after my Zanussi frost-free fridge freezer broke unexpectedly at just 3.5 years old – far earlier than expected for a 'quality brand'.
The repair was handled by their contractor Pacifica, and it has been a nightmare from start to finish:
First appointment was over 1 week after booking, the young engineer said it needed re-gassing – he couldn’t do it that day.
Second appointment the week after cancelled last-minute due to parts delay - this was a lie as no parts are needed for re-gassing.
Third visit: attempted re-gassing – didn’t fix the issue.
Fourth visit: another delay.
Fifth visit (8 July): finally fitted a new compressor. Two days later, the fridge broke down completely again, ruining all food in the freezer.
Despite repeatedly explaining that I am six months pregnant, have a toddler, and am dealing with this during a heatwave, both Zanussi and Pacifica have been unhelpful and dismissive. No urgency, no proper resolution, and no working fridge freezer.
This has been going on for over 7 weeks, with no end in sight. I deeply regret trusting Zanussi with either their appliance or their repair service.
This has happened to many other people on our new housing estate with the same fridge freezers so I would strongly advise others to avoid Zanussi.
Don't waste your time
Gave them 1 star cos 0 stars not available as a rating. If you contact them looking for some advice go elsewhere. Had a problem with my microwave. Tried to get advice on how to remove the old one. Nope. Not interested. Even the fact that I'm replacing the old zanussi with a new one made no difference. Needless to say didn't puchase a zanussi. Went elsewhere. I suggest you do too
Less than 1 star
Less than 1 star! On calling 03445612612 or other available nembers (to get advice about a metalic seal for the freezer bought at 2.07 which we cannt fix it and maybe is not the righ one) I was getting
(i) it is closed because bank holiday or
(ii) Our contact centre is currently unavailable due to a technical issue!
(ii) picking up and closing on me. Spent all morning!
Also chating is not avalilable!
"Amazing" Company is Electolux/Zanussi!
Formal Complaint Regarding Dishwasher Repair Experience
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience involving your customer service and technical support in relation to a serious fault with our Zanussi dishwasher.
Upon discovering a puncture in the inner wall of the appliance, I contacted your online customer service team seeking urgent advice. I was informed that your agents are not permitted to provide technical guidance and that my case would need to be referred to your technical team. However, I was also told that this could take some time, and if we could not wait, we would need to book a technician visit at a cost of £149.
Given the visible severity of the damage and the potential safety hazard it posed, we felt we had no choice but to proceed with the appointment. We were told that the details of the issue—including the puncture—would be passed on to the technician in advance.
To our frustration, the technician arrived and immediately confirmed that the puncture could not be repaired, and that the dishwasher would need to be fully replaced. This was information that could and should have been communicated before the visit, especially since the technician had prior access to the description of the issue. Had we been told this, we would not have proceeded with the costly appointment.
To make matters worse, we were quoted an unreasonably high price for a replacement unit. Upon researching online, we found similar Zanussi models available at far more affordable prices. However, we were informed that if we did not purchase the replacement through Zanussi, the £150 appointment fee would not be deducted—meaning we would lose the full amount.
This experience has left us feeling misled and exploited. The system you have in place offers no route for customers to speak directly to a technical expert, yet penalizes them financially when decisions must be made without proper information. It feels as though we were set up to fail—and charged for the privilege.
I would appreciate a full explanation of why we were not informed in advance that the puncture could not be repaired, and why no option was given to cancel the appointment with this knowledge. I also request a reimbursement of the £150 appointment fee, which we feel was charged under unfair and avoidable circumstances.
I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this matter.
Just don't buy from Zanussi
Just don't buy from Zanussi
If you have the choice, go elsewhere - we bought a newbuild house that came with Zanussi products, which i thought would be reliable and quite nice!
Washing machine broke within a year, just after my daughter was born - Zanussi couldn't care less about any of it, they sent an engineer out multiple times who said there was clearly a fault with how it was made, but they just didnt care, and didn't even respond without lots of nudging.
2.5 years into use it's now given up again and I just can't put myself through the stress of dealing with their aftercare team, who are just awful - every single one of them.
Do yourself a favour, and buy something else.
*CATASTROPHIC CUSTOMER SERVICE*
***CATASTROPHIC CUSTOMER SERVICE***
Avoid like the plague - the call center are incompetent and cannot spell so postcodes are taken down incorrectly and repair appointments cancelled without notification. JUST AWFUL!!!!!!
Outer layer of glass exploded
We were sitting down during dinner, oven been off for the past 5mins and we hear a huge bang!
The outer layer of glass completely exploded and shattered everywhere.
Luckily we had all just sat down so no one was hurt however we were very nearby.
Could have been a completely different story if someone was stood in front !
The oven is only 5 years old.
Do not buy a Zanussi Oven!
Our 3 year old Zanussi Oven ZZP35901XK is falling apart. The inside of the oven is rusting around the screw holes causing the grill to hang down and back plate to fall off.
I’ve spoken with Zanussi and they have said that they are aware of this problem and it has been mentioned the oven metal used is the wrong type and not rust proof enough but there is nothing they can do.
Zanussi Hob gone rusty unable to clean not fit for purpose
We bought a gas Zanussi hob which was delivered September 2024.
We noticed some discolouring initially but thought it would come off. The surface is actually covered in rust, it’s impossible to clean, unhygienic, and looks absolutely awful.
We have sent numerous messages on the Zanussi website and have had no response.
The hob is not fit for purpose and needs replacing.
Awful customer service and awful product would not recommend this and will not be using Zanussi again.
Awful products
Used a hob for 10 months and it stopped working. However, had it delivered and technically had it just over a year neither manufacturer or kitchen supplier Wren would help. Do not use Zanussi and caution with Wren as they recommend a brand that clearly looking at the reviews is BAD!
Extremely Disappointed – Avoid Zanussi Appliances
I bought a house in 2022 that came with integrated Zanussi appliances, for which I paid extra as part of the upgrade package. Less than three years later, the fridge developed a gas leak and has since completely failed. I had to pay out-of-pocket for an engineer who confirmed the fault and highlighted the potential health and fire risks associated with the appliance.
Despite the seriousness of the issue, Zanussi has shown no interest in resolving it — their customer service has been dismissive and unhelpful. I am now having to purchase a new fridge and replace all the spoiled food, leaving me £1000 out of pocket.
I expected far better quality and support from a well-known brand. This experience has shown me that neither the products nor the company are trustworthy. I’d strongly advise others to avoid Zanussi and spend their money on more reliable appliances and manufacturers.
Zannussi Fridge
I bought a new build which came with a host of Zannussi kitchen products. Within a year the fridge temperature became so cold that icicles keep forming on bread and other products. Phoned Zannussi - engineer 1) changed the condenser unit but made no difference. engineer 2) came - told me there is nothing wrong with the fridge it has to be the manufacturers fault. Now the freezer compartment is packing up with ice - every few days we have to scrape it off so we can close the day. Phone Zannussi was told as out of warranty - fixed cost £149 but if cannot be repaired only £69 would be refunded. Astonished to hear that a fault notified within 12 months which has progressively got worse is not been addressed. Will never buy a Zannussi product .
