Why order thru Zappos website only for it to be filled by Amazon. I will not order from them again. I never had this issue before but it’s been a year since ordering from there website.

Good luck on getting your returns processed. They are absolutely horrible and slow. They sent the wrong size (not what I ordered) and 3 weeks later I am still waiting for them to process the return.

I have purchased a few pairs of shoes from Zappos. I was happy to be able to return a pair of shoes even after wearing them a few times. I absolutely hated them. I plan on replacing the shoes that I didn't get from another company with an order from Zappos.

I returned a pair of shoes - had to call for return and rep explained to me that I was a VIP member and would get refunded same day my return was rec'd. That was approx 10 days ago. It's also very difficult to communicate electronically with Zappos - you have to call if you can locate the phone #. I replied to the email I rec'd with my order and ofcourse it says that email address is not monitored.

The item i purchased (a pair of pants) on zappos - was never shipped. It was shown as a delivery that was supposed to happen last week. Since there was no tracking number provided and my card was charged - I had to search for the phone number and call them. They were holding me on line for 23 minutes, after they've notified me that item is not available. They stated that they cancel my credit card authorization at the time of my call. I informed them that what they did - is a FRAUD. They dont' have the item, they never notified me as a customer, instead - they charged my credit card, making me to believe that my item is on the way. They were hoping that I would never call them to find out where my item is! Horrible! Never again! they were offering me 10$ coupon and I told them to keep it - I will never shop again with them

Zappos will not sell you footwear unless you create an account, you have to "sign in" with your Prime account, Google etc to complete a purchase.
I kept trying to complete a transaction without signing in and further giving them access to me, and it would not go through.
I called Zappos customer service and was informed that this strong arm tactic is business as usual for them.
I used to buy from Zappos, I refuse to be strong armed by a company that was taken over by Amazon and now only cares about mining customers data, not the customers experience.
I urge all of you to seek out other more user friendly options when purchasing footwear.

I got this message today immediately after placing an order with Zappos for a pair of shoes. I have no idea what could have prompted this message, so I tried for 3 hours to call the number in the message. No answer - for 3 hours! What has happened to Zappos?! I have bought many pairs of shoes from Zappos over many years. No more. I ended up buying the same pair of shoes from Amazon for less $. I read that Amazon bought Zappos. So sad - exceptional customer service used to be their brand. Now apparently NO customer service!

Zappos used to be good. I tried to buy a pair of shoes online and it kept getting the wrong address even after changing it twice. I tried to call and after a hold I heard a grunt and dead air. I called back and got a foreign call center with a heavily accented person. No thank you.
When Zappos saw this they asked for my more information and my reference number, which I don't have since I did not even make an order. That way they can say I am not a customer and my review can be downgraded. But my review is honestly my poor customer experience with Zappos. If you want to compete with the Big A you need to up your game.

Ordered shoes from Zappos and was urged to use my Amazon account to pay. Two days later, shoes showed "out for delivery". Waited all day. When I checked the status after shoes weren't delivered, shoes showed a "carrier delay". They were all of a sudden supposed to be delivered two days later. My question is "how does a shoe package that is supposedly out for delivery just disappear???" No one seems to know what happened to the package. If you really need a certain pair of shoes, do yourself a favor and order them somewhere else.

Absolute nightmare of a company to buy from. I’m an Amazon employee and used my discount of 110 dollars and paid around 65 for the rest. Got them, didn’t fit. Talked to a representative a week ago and tried to order a different brand I have bought in the past and would fit and are on the approved list of shoes for my company discount, but somehow they were not able to apply it to them. The representative had a supervisor on the line instructing him to tell me that I could use both my out of pocket money and the discount after 3-5 buisness days. After 5 days I called again and was put on hold only to be hung up on. Tried again and the next one told me PER HIS SUPERVISOR who was on the line that it would be fixed within 24 hours and a supervisor would call or email me then and confirm all was applied to the new boots and I would just have to pay the difference in price left over. No one called or reached out after 24 hours. I called again and this time the guy tells me after I explained everything and expressed that if I’m being lied to by multiple representatives they should be reprimanded or let go entirely because it’s unprofessional and asked to talk to a supervisor to maybe get it all fixed. He proceeds to argue with me and tell me I had a attitude while calmly explaining the situation and expressing my frustration, and he had the option for me to talk to a supervisor but said he will not be doing so because he has no reason and that if I sent the shoes back(my reasoning for not doing so already was if I can’t get them to give me the money I already paid and my discount back on the boots I need why would I send back a 185 dollar pair of boots especially since the first representative said I could do it that way and just clarified that if I didn’t send the boots back for the return within 20 days I would be charged the full amount for them) he would guarantee my money out of pocket returned but could not say for sure if I was going to get my 110 dollar discount back and called me unprofessional for saying someone needs reprimanding for false information. He also said 3 to 5 business days could mean longer that’s just a estimate. I don’t know about you but 3 to 5 means 3 4 or max 5 buisness days. It has been 6 since the first call and counting, no help, no honesty, and disrespect from the last representative with no clarity of the time frame it would take if I even will ever get the boots I need and picked or if I’ll even get my discount back. Overall this has been a horrible experience and I encourage anyone thinking of buying from them to go elsewhere. This is not an honest professional company and it has been the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with and I’m almost positive I just lost my employee discount I earned with hard work, not lying to customers and making them stressed right out dealing with all this confusion lies and disrespect. Regardless if I do get my discount back and the shoes I want I will never buy from this company again.

I paid $170 for new boots and received used items with dirty fabric and stained leather. Couldn't do a direct exchange because I used Amazon Pay, which the website pushed me to use. Refund will take 7-14 days and I was offered a $10 coupon. I will not be using it.

I returned a pair of shoes within a day of purchase. Thankfully I kept my UPS return slip when I dropped off the shoes on April 23rd. They received the shoes on the 26th. I called today (May 8th) and was put on hold repeatedly (so CS Rep could confer w/Refund Dept). Then I was told I would see my credit on my statement within 2-10 business days. Unless they are utilizing Windows 95 or something Ive never had a credit post after more than 5 days even with small companies. After seeing Reddit complaints with this same issue; I wont purchase again. Luckily the first purchase I made in early April they were new and didn't smell used (like feet--prior commenter). Never again.........

This company is horrible. I ordered two different shoes at two different times and they have not been able to deliver them!! Can't do it. Can't them to the post office, can't get them shipped. NO problem taking my money though!!! VERY frustrated. Customer service for the most part was sub par, even though I got one refund on the shoes that "weren't able to be delivered." This is over three weeks of hassle, almost $200, and NO SHOES!!!!!!!!!!! Do not order from this company. Clearly I wish I had read these reviews on Trustpilot before. I mean, seriously, how hard is this???

It's been a couple of years, maybe since I've ordered from Zappos. Wow! What a difference. Unfortunately for Zappos and the customers they try to purchase from Zappos. I have not yet spoke to a live person and I've been on the hold five times for a total of an hour and a half. I guess customer service management is not read the reviews, or reach out? You know the fantastic thing about hitting your head against the wall when you stop. It doesn't hurt anymore. Zappos is the concrete wall. Thank you Birkenstock you have customer service.

Ordered a Helly Hansen Jacket from Zappos. Received a Sweatshirt instead in poor packaging. Contacting them they expected me to provide new packaging for return etc. Not to mention its my time to fix their error. Gave ZAPPOS a chance, mistake I made, will not happen again. ZAPPOS - never shop there! They do not care about customers and they do not live up to the mistakes they make. BAD BUSINESS!

It used to be that Zappos offered overnight shipping. The last time I ordered, they could not manage this.
Customer service was quite poor on a phone call at the holiday season. I needed a new QR code so I could drop the shoes off at a Whole Foods store. The one I'd received by email wasn't readable. The person helping me on the phone had no idea how to communicate. When I went to Whole Foods to drop the return with the QR code I was sent, I was informed it was a code for a return at a UPS store. At UPS, I was unable to make the return without a shipping box. I was in a hurry and had to pay them to do it. What a pain in the neck.
Zappos is not Zappos anymore. They have sent us USED shoes! This pair smelled like feet when we opened the box and the bottoms of the shoes were dirty and there was a scuff on the side. They apparently have a policy of re-shelving returned products that are ‘like new’ but I’m not sure how they define ‘like new’ or why they think they can sell worn items at the same price as new. We used to buy from them because customer service was amazing, now I’m just grossed out.
