First off, they are so far from the airport it's not funny. By the time the shuttle pick you up and take you to their office, you could rent a car at the airport and drive to bush garden. !!! They th... See more

Unfortunately I can't give "0" stars - Hidden fee's
Unfortunately I can't give "0" stars. When we landed at Tampa International, it took well over an hour for a shuttle to pick us up along with many other customers waiting for them as well as they indicated they would. It didn't match the description as indicated by them in Expedia as a "black shuttle". The shuttle actually was a white one with their name on a magnet sign on the side of the van.
Once we completed the 15 minute drive the location looked like a towing yard! There was at least 2 if not 3 other rental car businesses within the same building.
We got out of the shuttle and went into a multi room building and there was another rider asking what are these fees for?? The customer turned around and told us they are charging extra for tolls and much more. We finally get to the counter and we are told we need to pay an extra $600+ for a $600k liability insurance package plus purchasing even after giving them my USAA insurance information. Also keep in mind I paid for additional insurance through Expedia and also have my own auto insurance. I immediately asked for a refund in which they couldn’t do and told me to contact Expedia. I called Expedia and explained what happened and they happily refunded me. DO NOT RENT FROM ZezGo. We went to Enterprise. The Location in reference was the Tampa Bay FL location.
This is the worse rental agency I’ve…
This is the worse rental agency I’ve ever dealt with, they’re lazy, unprofessional, and somewhat rude! They lie and almost make you purchase insurance, they even have virtual agents who are not even on site!! Then the hidden fees are ridiculous
DO NOT RENT EVER FROM HERE!!!!
DO NOT RENT EVER FROM HERE!!!!! 0 stars. Absolutely rude and disgusting staff. Demanding I pay $2000 for security deposit plus demanding I pay their insurance (even though I had my own policy) or they won't rent. They told me they "ran my policy number" and said my coverage is missing a lot of things so I would have to pay theirs. I never gave them my policy # so when I asked them what policy number they ran he said "oh I just had it here I must've lost it" then I said ok I'll wait until you find it. Then said was it 1122? LMAO absolute jokes. Not to mention no one physically works there, you have to talk to someone through a virtual TV so when I asked if he could clarify or email me the company's policy since they were demanding so much money, he said "ok clearly you don't want a car, I'm canceling your reservation" and hung up on me LOL. Idk how they're a business. Everyone on my shuttle dealt with the same thing and all walked out without a car. No one wanted to rent with them or trust them with their credit card. Everyone ended up back at the airport to rent from another company.
SCAM
SCAM - DO NOT USE!! We ended up with Zenzgo from a booking with Expedia. Us, along with 6 other families coming from Tampa Airport, could NOT get a car. Price changes, they want to add another $500/week ON TOP because you have to pay for their insurance. Read other reviews they all say the same thing!
Hidden fees
Hidden fees, I have always used my car insurance to cover rental car, counter help said it wouldn't work with them. Don't waste your time or money with this company. I am a Florida resident with Florida coverage and rented in Tampa Florida.
Extremely Poor Customer Service
I did not have my personal insurance policy number available at the time of rental on a Saturday evening. (I have rented vehicles in the past from several different companies and was never asked to provide a policy number.) I told the rental agent that I could provide the number on Monday once I contacted my insurance company but he said no. I suggested several reasonable alternatives to the rental agent which were all unacceptable to him. He would not let me have the vehicle unless I paid for additional insurance. When I asked about canceling the reservation, he told me there would be no refund. The rental agent was rude and extremely unhelpful. When I contacted the main office after returning home, I was also denied any type of refund. In my opinion, this company does not care about the customer and is more concerned about making money as evidenced by their overly strict policies. I do not recommend using this company; there are many other rental car companies with whom I've done business and have been very pleased with the service provided. I was also surprised at being charged a $1,000 deposit! If enough people boycott Zezgo car rentals, maybe they will get the message that they need to seriously improve their customer service and make their policies more user friendly.
Warning!!!⚠️
Warning: Zezgo is a dishonest company. They took my money and refused to return it. Be extremely careful.
We rented a car from Zezgo Car Rental in Orlando for a few days, and it was a very bad experience from start to finish.
The cars are very old and clearly not well maintained.
We were charged hidden fees at the office, after arrival, when we had no other realistic option.
The worst part: they kept our money.
They took a $1,000 deposit and told us it would be refunded within 5 days after returning the car. That never happened. The money was not refunded at all.
We had to file a bank chargeback to get our deposit back.
This experience was stressful, disappointing, and completely unprofessional.
Never rent a car from this company. I would not recommend Zezgo to anyone.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ, WOULD BE A 0 STAR. I highly advise not renting from Zezco. They claimed points for a free car for them and then arrived there and had to pay $700 in insurance. The drivers are very dangerous, they text and drive. The place also is in the middle of no where and won’t take you back to the airport after they tried to scam you of your money.
Zezgo is a Giant SCAM
Zezgo is a Giant SCAM, the shuttle driver from Tampa airport was wreck less texting and on the phone and almost got us into an accident. Upon arrival it was brought to our attention that you have to use your own rental insurance that must have a 500,000 coverage policy and only excepts minimal insurance companies. The alternative was paying $680 upfront to use their own insurance. This was not disclosed at any point in booking. Me and my pregnant sister did not want to follow through with the rental and they would not shuttle us back to the airport. We had to call an uber and rent elsewhere. DO NOT RENT FROM ZEZGO they are a bunch of SCAM artists.
Stay away
I'd stay away from this company.
They claimed our insurance (Liberty Mutual) was not good enough, and the first car they rented us had a non functioning AC. The second car got a flat tire and the insurance they made us pay for did not cover roadside assistance. Luckily, Liberty was able to repair our tire.
I agree with the comments. DON'T let a bundler like orbitz trick you into using this service. Stick with more established companies.
This place is a joke I paid 2 months in…
This place is a joke I paid 2 months in advance with our flight now we up here to pick the rental car they want $600 extra on top of what I paid ,, no one answers the phone I can’t even get a refund, this a money laundering operation like I’ve never seen took 45 m for a shuttle to pick us up ,, this place is a joke, go rent a car in front of the place it’s called ex right cars , got us a car didn’t scam up now hope Expedia will give are refund this should be illegal
Believe all these reviews
Believe all these reviews. Hidden fees, inconvenient locations, a virtual rental experience, shady insurance scams. It’s amazing Expedia can claim to value customers and steer people to this criminal operation.
Refund regret
After we returned the car full of gas and in the same condition in which it was received, we were told our deposit of $250.00 would be returned within a week or two. The contract said they had up to 30 days. It has been almost 60 days and no refund. I have contacted them several times and the ask for identification numbers that are not on the contract or in any email correspondence. Still trying.
ZezGo charged inappropriate fees
ZezGo representative refused to provide a vehicle because I wouldn't pay for additional insurance coverage when I already had full coverage. I had to rent a vehicle from another company, and I lost the fee I already paid for the ZezGo vehicle. Worst car rental experience of my life.
AVOID! Bait and switch insurance scam
Reserved through Expedia. Arrived at the counter at ZezGo Car Rental at 4502 W Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa. The customer in front of me was asked for insurance information. When they said that they had Hartford insurance, they were told that it wasn't accepted and that they'd need to pay $500 for insurance. They refused and left. My turn. They said that they DID accept Progressive, but when they looked at my declaration page stated that the $100,000 liability limit was too low, and that I, too, would need to pay $500 for insurance. I also left. This is a bait and switch insurance scam (if the money even actually goes for insurance).
Absolutely unacceptable experience with…
Absolutely unacceptable experience with Zezgo Car Rental.
I was charged $119.96 for Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) that I explicitly declined. I already had coverage through Expedia, and my signed agreement clearly shows that I declined this insurance. Charging a customer for a service they refused is extremely concerning.
The employee at the counter was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was no proper explanation of charges, and the entire process felt rushed and misleading.
On top of that, I was hit with excessive add-on fees, including a daily toll charge and an outrageous refueling rate of $8.50 per gallon. None of this was clearly disclosed.
This experience felt deceptive and predatory. Customers should not have to double-check contracts to avoid being charged for services they declined.
I will be disputing these charges and reporting this issue. I strongly advise others to avoid this company.
ZezGo is a well-oiled scamming machine DO NOT USE!!
ZezGo is a well-oiled scamming machine; they attract customers with low rates and then force them to purchase additional services at the last minute when they are already at the airport for pick up and have no other choice - if they don't want to leave by foot.
Zezgo refused my Progressive car insurance even though it's local and transfers over to rental cars. ZezGo also refused to look at my second layer of coverage, from my credit card.
Weeks prior to my pickup date for the car I had managed to established contact with ZezGo via email, to verify if they would accept my insurance. They had asked me to send my documentation for review, which I did immediately (I sent my Declaration page + my credit card letter of coverage); and then they never responded, despite my many follow ups.
They deliberately kept me in the dark when I had enough time to cancel for a full refund and organize alternate plans for another rental car company.
ZezGo also tried to pressure us into paying for a daily fee of $15 + tax to use for their SunPass Transponder: they said otherwise we would be assessed a "charge by plate" fee for every toll + a penalty fee, if we did not use theirs. But when I declined and told them I had brought my own SunPass transponder, ZezGo said I actually could not use it because they already had one permanently installed in the car, and it was linked to its number plate.
So ZezGo was planning to hammer us with maximum fees & penalties on one hand, while paying regular SunPass fees on the other hand.
Not having a choice, we had to agree to pay for an obscure mandatory ZezGo additional insurance of ALMOST 3 TIMES the price we had already paid for the rental (so called "paid in full") on Orbitz months ago for our rental car; otherwise, as ZezGo employee stated plainly "you pay; or you walk".
Later, after returning the car (early, because we were tired of driving to avoid tolls), we filed a dispute with our credit card.
Unfortunately, since we had indeed "agreed" (or rather been forced to, since we had no other choice but to pay as we were in a remote location outside of Miami International Airport) to pay for the additional charges in person, ZezGo was able to get off the hook as the bank could not enforce the refund of the extra $$$$$ charged by ZezGo.
Despicable.
Hiden insurace fees
What a pain. First have to take shuttle from airport then when you get to place there is no physical person there. You have go into a box and wait 20 plus minutes for somone to show up on a screen. Finally get to talk to someone. Now the guy tells you that they will only maybe expect your insurance after they email you a form and you fill it out. This is there scam. By this point it has been 2 hours since got off plane and all you want to do is get car and start your vacation. Unless you want to waste no one knows how many more hours filling out forms and waiting for answer on if they will take your insurace you are forced to buy there insuarnce. After paying extra for insuance could have gotten a rental car at the airport and saved myself alot of hassle. Do yourself a favor and use a differt rental. I don't why expedia has this company as option.
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! Rude and unprofessional on the phone, they charged me for rental protection when I had already purchased the rental protection from Expedia, another 200$ on top of that. Rental place is about a mile away and you need to call them to pick you up for the vehicle. The tires on the car I rented were bald, and unsafe to drive especially in a big city. The battery died numerous times and had to call Triple A for assistance because the company did nothing to make the situation right. NO new rental was replaced, I ended up buying a portable battery charger that costed over 100$. Expedia should not have this company on there website. SCAM!!!
Terrible place to rent a car would…
Terrible place to rent a car would never do this again. Charge an extra $90 plus $1000 hold on my credit card. You have to take two shuttles to get to airport Expedia is using this company and it’s a rip off.
