“I bought five different dresses for my daughter’s wedding ceremony, and I needed to return one of them after 10 days. It was untouched, and I would have accepted store credit, but they didn’t give me any options. I will never buy anything from them again.”

This store is absolutely terrible

This store is absolutely terrible. They created a huge payment issue, wasted several hours of our time, and in the end the money never came back. The dress also stayed with them — so basically they just took €3,000 from me for nothing. Now they’re saying I should sort it out with my bank.

From what I’ve heard from my friends, this seems to be their scheme — we are not the first. No apologies, only the typical “we are trying our best.” If you want stress, problems, wasted time, lost money, zero compensation, and absolute disappointment — this is the place.

They even drove my mother to tears, made her late everywhere, and ruined her day. For emotional rollercoasters and disappearing money — come right here.

I had to return an item as it didn't…

I had to return an item as it didn't fit me well. They didn't return the tax I paid on the item. Why do I have to pay for taxes for the item I don't own? I will never buy anything from them again! Their online business is a scam!

Very bad online Exchange experience (in fact there is NO possibility to return your purchase online)

I received the items in good order. The return service though is really bad. And stressfull. For 3 days I have been trying to return an expensive shipment. It is not possible to submit an online return. You can find your purchase with Some effort. But the system will not let you submit the returnlabel. The customer service sent after a second request a label but them I was not abel to make an appointment for a DHL pick up online. I almost gave up! I did not expect this from this brand ZIMMERMANN.

I received the dress

I received the dress. It’s perfect size fit me very nice stunning dress. However, the dress arrived with a small defect.
One thing is for the dress to get damaged while I’m wearing it, and another for it to arrive with a defect. There is also a loose thread. A small detail that shouldn't happen with a dress design like this. The threats I can cut. But the defect I can’t fix. 🥲
For the price $1,050. I am disappointed. I am going send a message the store trying to change it for another dress.

Took my $217.00 no dress 😡😡
Beware of the difference .com or .co.nz the later definitely scam 😡😡😡

Customer service is a joke

Not only have the prices gone up, which okay, we could live with, buying designer items and all, but the quality has gone done. So many loose threads on my Crush leopard dress. Moreover, their designs, though undeniably beautiful, are poorly executed, especially when it comes to corset dresses. Bust area stretches enormously, but the waist is fixed despite the stretchy panel that actually doesn't stretch at all. Also, a 2650 EUR top has POLYESTER slip. Seriously? At that price you cannot make a silk slip, especially where it touches your body? Polyester slips seem to rule, and not all of them are recycled.
Zimmermann also went down on sustainability rating at Good on you - from 3 to 2 (not good enough), which clearly indicates they want more money for worse quality, polyester and cutting down on their sustainability. No, thank you.
What lost me as an excited customer buying this and that and that too, however, was their unprofessional customer service. I was disappointed that after having spent thousands I wasn't even invited like every year to private sales. I voiced my disappointment and got a dismissive response saying more or less I wasn't a valued customer. Despite orders showing how much I've spent in just a short period since I discovered the brand. I asked to close my account, any normal company would apologize, send a small gift or whatever, but they just closed my account without even informing me! Brilliant. Took my money elsewhere.
They don't even care enough about reviews to claim their profile here - that should tell you everything.
I still buy one or two things if I find them spectacular, but they lost a customer willing to pay thousands each season. And seeing a decline in quality I doubt I will even buy occasionally now.

Should deliver in 5-7 days, did not in 11 and no reaction to complaints by Email at all

Should deliver in 5-7 days(Mo-Fr). 6 days they needed to have the order "ready". More then 11 days it did not arrive and status not change from "on the way". Next status would still have been "on way to delivery" and "delivered to customer". Dont know, if it is a typical CHINA-Shop (TEMU is fast compared) or if it is a SCAM.
One e-Mail not answered. 3 days later E-mail ignored.
Asked PayPal to refund my payment. Got it nearly instantly. No idea what kind of shop that appears to be.
With this expreience I'll never order again.

SUPER CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am a big fan of Zimmermann, not only because of their beautiful clothes but also because of their outstanding customer service. I would particularly like to mention Anissa, who consistently goes out of her way to assist in any way possible. Nothing is ever a problem for her. She possesses exceptional customer service skills and is a great asset to Zimmermann! A million thanks to Anissa. Highly recommend this brand. Absolutely a joy !

Do not order in Switzerland unless you are sure about the size, the returns do not include refund of the import tax

The sizes run very small. The return procedure is quite painful, you have to contact them to arrange for the pick-up, they promise to cover the full amount you directly paid them (including taxes - for Switzerland in my case). Upon return only the item related costs were refunded, the refund for the import tax for returned items has to be processed with the local authorities (it implies hand-written declaration letter, a full list of documents related to the import). This tax is not small - it can be up to 10-15% of the item value. I recommend you do not order from them if you are outside EU.
