Least helpful and too many terms and conditions making it impossible to make a travel claim. Daughter was sick and we couldn't fly to Bali, our tickets got cancelled and we had to purchase brand new tickets. Lodged a claim, they email back 10 days later asking for the same information again. Even with doctors medical report, and all the proof and documentation still got declined for not meeting their terms and conditions. Absolutely frustrating. Never using this company again.

I would not even give Zoom one star, but you do not have a "no star" option. Do not go for this cheaper option, because if something do happen - they do not pay out anything. They also require receipts for everything that you claim for. Both my phone and bag got badly damage on my trip - I they refused to pay out anything for it. Go for well known insurance companies.

If you have any pre-existing conditions and DON'T want them covered then don't use Zoom. Their initial quote is promising but when you mention any pre-conditions, as you have to do, they insist on covering them whether you want them to or not. My quote went from $640 to over $3000 despite my couple of conditions being under control (they didn't ask if they were or not). Don't waste your time

Maisie the representative was helpful courteous and kind. She really went the extra mile.I feel happy to have the insurance sorted and was glad to have assistance.

Zoom were amazing. I fell off a scooter in Bali and was stuck in hospital for a week, they help liase with the doctors and sort my flight home. Without my insurance (and my helmet), I think I would still be stuck there. Thanks so much to everyone who helped my claim!

It is cheap insurance for a reason. READ the policy and compare with other insurers. We were not covered for a missed layover because it was less than 4 hours. The airline in question refused to rebook the next flight. I have compared policies between companies and have found we would have been covered under most other insurers.

Had to extend our policy once it had expired although email reply's were slow the live chat with Keanu was great. Sorted out the problem we had straight away.

We had booked a trip to Ireland/lapland and a sudden death happened in our immediate family in Ireland which meant we could not go on our trip to lapland.
Because our family member did not reside in Australia we are not entitled any insurance assistance (not even for parts of our trip). This is something that a lot of people are not aware of look for in a policy. This has disappointed us and caused a lot of financial hardships along with the devastation of losing a loved one so suddenly.
Please be aware of this clause if you have family overseas because you do not want to be disappointed especially when hard times come around.
I will never use this company again for any travel within or outside Australia.

Don’t use our trust this scam of a company. They will not pay for legitimate claims. My 8 year old daughter got hit my a car while we were in Europe and I have been battling for months to get my claim settled they won’t pay for the basics things that their policy’s state to cover like medical expenses, accommodation etc

If I could give them minus stars I would, I plead with anyone needing insurance to look at any other company and avoid these guys. Both my claims were declined 1 for lost/stolen items and the other for damaged goods. the reasons given are nothing short of comical and in my opinion, they look to avoid paying out genuine claims on ridiculous reasoning.
