Biggest SCAM ever...

You may call it : SCAM or FRAUD !

And I STRONGLY ADVISE NOT to buy any Hilton Honors points ever !!

I bought Hilton Honors Points for X Euro but could not use it that time.

Now I wanted to book a hotel in Paris for the end of this month.

They offererd the Canopy by Hilton and the Hilton Opera.

I tried to use my Hilton Honors Points this time.

BUT !!!! :

when I calculate the value of the points they require (464000 for the Canopy and 415000 for the Opera) it turns out that this is a MASSIVE FRAUD !!

Despite me having paid the points months ago and kind of giving the Hilton Group a credit as not having used any services of them so far in return they SCAM me (and all other Hilton Honors members) in a galactic scale !!

The Canopy could be booked for 1395,- Euro and the Hilton Opera for 896,- Euro (which is far less even the Canopy is a 4 star property and the Opera is a 5 star property ???...)

Taking into account now the number of points required to book a room via my Hilton Honors points as mentioned above the calculated price I would have to pay for the rooms are :

Canopy : 2460,- Euro
Opera : 2200,- Euro

I think everyone can guess what a massive scam this is.

Its absolutely DISGUSTING that these freaks grow richer and richer while they betray us as if its the most normal thing on earth...

WHY on earth shall I accept such huge losses or ad ups only because I want to use points which have been paid to Hilton months ago ?!

Hilton Hotels Provide Consistently Good Accomodations

Have stayed at Hilton Hotels all over the United States, Europe, South America, Central America, Asia and Africa for decades. Hotels and rooms are always impeccably clean and well furnished. Having stayed in other hotel chains and independents they haven't lived up to the high standard of Hilton. The Grand Vacation properties are not as nice as the hotels and there's an emphasis on buying and lack of service when you don't buy. Also, there's definitely a push for larger tips by personnel even when they don't do anything specifically for you. Hilton needs to oversee their personnel better but the accommodations are always clean, comfortable and worth the price.

Took my wife to the new Hilton in Woking for her birthday, not only were we unable to eat there but we couldn’t even have a drink in their bar as this needed pre booking, which was not made known to us at the point of booking.
No doubt the manager of the Hilton will say reach out to me….
Which I did with a direct complaint which was ignored.
Avoid this hotel if you don’t like being disappointed.

Here in Warsaw for three nights this being night one in a room on top floor which is like sleeping on a Boeing 747, a constant loud noise from the fans above. Why they would even consider these rooms to be acceptable is beyond me.
Asked to be moved but do far a polite NO!
As an honours member I will be letting my membership go, a very bad experience and an expensive one too!

🌟 Exceptional Service at Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona! 🌟

I recently had an outstanding experience at Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona! The service truly exceeded my expectations.

I had a special request to have a message delivered to my wife upon her arrival, and the staff was immediately ready to assist—efficient, friendly, and with a level of dedication that makes all the difference. A special thank you to Chantal Ferreras, whose kindness and attentiveness made the experience even more memorable.

With such fantastic service, there’s no doubt in my mind that I’ll be choosing Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona for my next stay. If the service is this exceptional, I can only imagine that everything else at the hotel is just as outstanding!

Thank you for an unforgettable experience! 🙌✨

Past its Prime…

We have stayed at the Hilton on S.President St in Baltimore several time each year but this time was the worst. Definately on the decline.
-No doorman or lobby helpers
- heating, refrig and microwave (??) buzzed off and on all night long
- Closet doors very rough to close or open
-Toilet kept running after flush
- Fire alarm half pulled from the wall
- Large heating access panel held only by 2 screws instead of 4
- map to "self parking" location was mouse maze and too small to read
sign from garage with arrow read "hotel lobby 3" but lobby was on 1, but nothing in the elevator to indicate
- Two desk clerks were the only bright spot (Feb.7)

Excellent hotel and staff.

Raj at reception was wonderful. Early check in as room was available.
Room was large and well appointed. Hotel is well positioned to explore the area and for SaddlersWells.
Lovely breakfast and again very helpful pleasant stay. A couple of maintenance issues which we discussed with Raj on departure otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay deliberately locked a customer in the lift

I was a member of the health club at Waldorf Astoria West Bay Doha. It’s important to stress “I was” because a deeply unsettling incident led me to cancel my membership—an incident one would never expect to encounter in a Waldorf Astoria property.

The issue arose when the hotel changed its health club access policy, moving the entrance from the 39th floor to the 40th floor, without notifying me. One day, as usual, I pressed the button for the 39th floor. To my shock, the elevator deliberately stopped at the 17th floor, preventing me from reaching my destination.

Through the intercom, I was instructed to either proceed to the 40th floor or return to the ground floor. When I insisted on continuing to the 39th floor, the elevator lights were briefly turned off, seemingly as a way to pressure me into compliance. This action left me feeling extremely stressed, anxious, and most importantly, unsafe.

I raised this issue with hotel management, but the responses have been unsatisfactory. The General Manager initially claimed that the 39th-floor button had been deactivated but later contradicted this by denying the elevator was deliberately stopped.

Moreover, my attempts to escalate the matter were ignored. Neither Mr. Guy Hutchinson, the regional leader, nor Mr. Simon Vincent, Hilton’s Senior Vice President for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, have responded to my emails. This silence demonstrates a disturbing disregard for customer satisfaction and wellbeing.

Waldorf Astoria West Bay Doha left a paying customer in the dark—literally—in an elevator. The lack of accountability and empathy from both the property and Hilton’s senior leadership is unacceptable.

This incident has permanently shattered my trust in Hilton, and I will never visit a Hilton property again.

Hilton Angel, Islington London

We recently stayed at the Hilton Angel Islington London and did not enjoy the 2 nights stay due to not be able to upgrade even though we booked way in advance plus the room was small and the bedding was not clean and looked dirty grey with stains. I did leave a polite note to change bedding only to find it got worse. This is my first time writing a negative review but the staff just ignore us saying they were overbooked and we still have not received our electronic Receipt of Stay?

We stayed in the Niagara Hilton on…

We stayed in the Niagara Hilton on Fallsview Road. The hotel lobby, pool, gym , restaurants are beautiful. We stayed on the 39th floor with an awesome view of the falls. The room was spacious. However, the furniture was dated and did not meet our expectations based on what we saw downstairs. The bed was comfortable though and it was huge. The hotel food and beverage prices are really high. We suggest that you eat and drink elsewhere…. Food was just okay at their primary restaurant The Watermark…. You can buy alcohol at the local LCBO. I would go back ! Great location and near Clifton Hills which was fun. Great place for everyone!!!!

Hilton Hotel Metropole Pendigo Way Birmingham

I booked a room for 2 days for my partners 25th Birthday and after the experience we received from what is meant to be a high-class and professional company it was nothing but a big let-down.
When we got their it was absolutely rammed with customers, no sense of direction of where to check in. We booked a room near the lift as my partner has walking difficulties upon check in we were told their was no rooms available. Management need to check up on their house keeping team / staff as both mornings from 8am - 12noon we could hear none stop banging of them going in and out of rooms to clean it, we came out and saw that they put the door on a latch so when they walked in and out the door would slam which is really bad.
We were on the fourth floor and it was just terrible.
We asked for a mini fridge which we got some dirty black mini fridge which had chocolate stains inside and out of it the staff member that bought it to us had no customer service at all he could have seen it and cleaned it.
The room itself where the cups and teas and coffees were was not cleaned all dusty as a whole the cleaners only give a light clean so much dust everywhere. We took pictures of the dirty fridge.

Disgusted Honors guest.n Honors member and have a…

I am a Hilton Honors member and have a review on the Hilton DoubleTree inat Sea-Tac. I made a reservation for one night on Sept. 13th and wasn't informed that it would be $36 to park my car! The next.morning we went down for breakfast and were informed that it would be sit down and we had to pay for it. We had no idea! When we didn't stay I asked for coffee and was told that again we had to pay for it at a coffee bar! The rooms were way overpriced and severely outdated with dark hallways and dismal room furnishings. Bed was your typical mattress, very comfortable! Just because it is near the airport is no excuse to gouge your loyal customers!

Disappointing Experience at Hilton Niagara Falls - Diamond Member Treated Poorly

As a long-time loyal Hilton Diamond member, my recent experience at Hilton Niagara Falls was nothing short of disappointing. Despite my Diamond status, the reception team gave me false information, claiming the hotel was fully booked and refused to honor the upgrade benefits, even though over 300 rooms were available at the time. It felt like they were playing games, insisting they were "fully booked" when I could easily book a room online.

I spent over an hour speaking with various staff members with no success. The desk management openly admitted that on weekends, they choose not to upgrade members, which directly contradicts Hilton Honors membership perks. Even after contacting Hilton Online, who reached out to the hotel, the hotel team continued to lie about availability. I was able to book a room to prove the point, yet the hotel staff still wouldn't budge.

The management here lacks professionalism and respect for their guests. I wrote an email to management, only to receive a generic "We are sorry" response with no follow-up. After years of loyalty to Hilton, this experience has made me reconsider my brand preference entirely. It's clear that Hilton has lost its customer-centric approach and treats it more like a marketing ploy.

To make matters worse, after raising my complaint, they downgraded my status to the lowest tier, which speaks volumes about how much they value their loyal members. I will be looking elsewhere for my future stays, and I encourage others to think twice before booking here.

Misleading Information and Poor Customer Service at Canopy by Hilton New Orleans - Downtown

Hilton Guest Assistance Case # 215808578
I recently stayed at the Canopy by Hilton New Orleans - Downtown and encountered a significant issue that has left me extremely dissatisfied. During the reservation process, I was explicitly informed by a reservation clerk at the hotel that the distance to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center was 0.12 miles. Based on this information, I made my booking. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the actual distance was 1.4 miles—far more than what was communicated to me.
This misinformation caused me considerable inconvenience and an additional cost of $225.00 to secure the correct accommodations. When I brought this issue to Hilton Guest Assistance (Case #215808578), they reviewed my complaint but ultimately dismissed it, stating that the website accurately lists the distance as 1.4 miles. However, the misinformation I received was not from the website but directly from their reservation staff.
I hold Hilton accountable for the inaccurate information provided by their staff. The lack of willingness to reimburse me for the additional costs incurred due to their error is unacceptable. This experience has not only cost me money but has also significantly diminished my trust in the Hilton brand.
I urge Hilton to reconsider their stance and provide the necessary reimbursement of $225.00. This would demonstrate their commitment to guest satisfaction and accountability.
Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend staying at this property or trusting the information provided by Hilton's reservation staff. I hope that by sharing my experience, other potential guests will be aware of the risks involved.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Gatwick Hilton

Gatwick Airport. Ohh dear where do I begin.... the receptionist could barely even speak to us when checking in pretty much ignored us no manners whatsoever ever!! When we got our room card I accidentally swiped the wrong room door and it actually let me in to someone else's room!!!! I was so concerned I went to a member of staff and complained as I was worried that someone could also do the same to our room and the staff member showed absolutely no concern whatsoever!!! The room was clean and tidy. We had a drink in the bar and was charged £2.50 service charge!!! So decided to take a short walk to the north terminal entrance and had some drinks in Giraffe and Wetherspoons which was significantly cheaper.

Warning

Warning - do not sign a contract with Hilton Metropole Hotel at the NEC this hotel unless you are absolutely 100% certain you can honour the commitment. We are a group of volunteers who wanted to organise a not for profit, once in a lifetime reunion event. We were over promised, told not to worry about the contract commitment, the hotel is completely flexible, they will work within our budget and it turns out it was all a falsehood. We were misled. Pure greed, and certainly not to be trusted!
