The company's licensing terms fall closely between onerous and unenforceable, with essentially no ability to request a refund even if the software doesn't work. To quote: "Downloadable, intangible software is non-refundable and you accept this when submitting your order. If you dispute a charge your account will be terminated and all purchases will be removed along with it. Your license(s) will no longer work, and your computer(s) associated to your account will be banned for life from use of any X-Aviation products."

Were they in a state less legally uninterested in consumer protections than Florida, an interested attorney general would have chased them down long ago.

My entire purchase history was wiped and blocked from use without warning. After querying why I was falsely accused of having shared my account which absolutely did not happen. Attempted to extract more detail in order to resolve the problem, and establish whether a data breach had occurred at my end or theirs, but was met with silence. The lost products were expensive and no attempt at resolution has been made by X-Aviation whatsoever. Having done some forum reading before purchase it seems they have a poor reputation in this regard, but I made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully this will discourage anyone else from losing their money.
