I have been the victim of a scam and lost over 10k and they have not offered any help. Told me to report to police but police won’t do anything.

expensive fees but very limited features.

the membership annual fee was expensive, and the advertised SWIFT and SEPA transfers are not available.

USDC deposits are only possible on ERC20 chain, which has expensive gas fees.

My experience with Xapo Bank has been nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish. They blocked my account without providing any legitimate explanation, preventing me from accessing my funds for over 30 days. Despite fully complying with all their requests and adhering to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, their customer support has been completely unresponsive, offering only vague answers and continuous excuses, citing supposed “regulatory reviews.”

Not only did they fail to clarify the reason for freezing my account, but they also requested additional information (such as an IBAN) and then did not proceed with transferring my funds. Their handling of the situation grossly violates the enhanced due diligence (EDD) timeframes as required by law. The lack of transparency is appalling, and there is no consideration whatsoever for their customers.

I am seriously considering taking legal action against this bank to protect my rights and reporting their irregular practices to the relevant regulatory authorities. If you value the security of your funds and expect a professional banking service, avoid Xapo Bank at all costs.

An absolutely dreadful experience that I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of!

Clean simple bitcoin banking

Have held an account for a couple months now and the interface is clean and simple. On-boarding was an easy process. I have had a trouble free experience so far. Love the cash back in sats and ease of purchasing and selling BTC.

I hope at some point there will be support for swift transfers and expanding cash back to include Europe. I was lucky to open the account when the annual cost was $150... Will have to seriously consider keeping the account when it comes time to renew for $1000/year. Sadly I don't think I would be able to justify the cost.

Unbelievable Annual fee hike from $150 to $1000

No ways y'all increased the annual fee from $150 straight to $1000. We understand the importance of the security enhancement but $1000 is too much for bank changes.

The Virtual card is not working anymore…

The Virtual card is not working anymore on most of the sites including facebook and others. I was informed by CS that she did not have any time frame to share when it would be okay. This is frustrating. I was informed it affects all the xapo users.

The bank I’ve been waiting for

Used for a couple of months now and this could be the bank I’ve been waiting for. Really fits a niche where expats need an offshore bank with on-ramps into UK/EU for costs incurred there. Interest and rewards paid in BTC is great for those who have HODL strategy as this provides a daily (free) DCA against holdings.

The recent changes to the fee structure highlighted in some reviews indicate that they aren't the bank for everyone and are not trying to be. If you are in their target customer group then they are a very good fit and deliver an excellent service.

App is slick and easy to use and Card arrived quickly within a few days of ordering.

Only minor niggles thus far:

- I haven’t been able to use the card in all circumstances I’d like (E.g to pay off a monthly credit card to Capture Rewards on this)
- Sending USD appears limited to US Banks and ACH, it would be great for expansion of this to include other international banks
- I have been unable to add the Card to ApplePay

Hope these are features that will come in future @zapobank?

I use Xapo Bank every day

I use Xapo Bank every day. I'm on the Bitcoin standard and their products let me hold only Bitcoin but spend dollars in real time anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

Their 1% conversion fee is compensated with 1% Bitcoin back from using the Mastercard - so the only cost is the annual banking fee, which remains competitive with other high tech banking options.

Serving only a specific group of people.

I liked the services provided by Xapo Bank, but the sudden surge in annual fees ruined everything.After the annual fee hike to $1000, Xapo Bank's customer base dwindled to primarily cryptocurrency whales and individuals involved in illicit money laundering activities.

I am generally quite satisfied

I am generally quite satisfied. For large amounts I prefer to buy and sell bitcoins on the Xapo banking platform rather than on exchanges. I have found it to be safer and more confidential than traditional brokers.
