Horrible support!

Horrible support!
I have gone through the video call about the same thing over and over again with no resolution.
Support is telling me it will take one hour , then one hour changes into 24 hours, then 48 and goes on for days. My issue is still not resolved after all this time. I demand to receive the service thats worth $1000.00

Avoid Xapo at All Costs - Worst Customer Service and Unbelievable Delays

I opened a Xapo account with high expectations, but from day one, every transfer I made, in or out, was delayed and subjected to "checks." I tried to be patient, but things only got worse. A month ago, I deposited money into my account, and as soon as the funds landed, they restricted my account. No explanation, no reason,just locked out, unable to make any internal transfers or withdrawals.

I spent an entire month trying to figure out what was going on, but all I got from their support was the same generic answer: "The team is working on it. We don't know yet." No answers, no progress. After a month of this nonsense, I had enough and requested them to close my account. This started the second nightmare. They spent another week just reviewing my request to close the account.

Still restricted, I couldn't even transfer my own money back to my bank. Eventually, they asked for some additional details, which I provided immediately. Days went by, more reviews, more delays. Finally, they scheduled a Zoom call where I explained the situation, showed my account, and confirmed ownership. And then, another two weeks passed with zero updates. I have no clue what is going on.

Last week, I was told that they couldn’t send money to the provided details. I checked, and it turned out the details were incorrect and I had never requested the funds be sent to that account. They apologized, said they’d sort it out, and started the process over. Now, days later, I get another message saying they can’t send money to the details I gave them and suggested sending it back to the original account. Fine, I sent them the information again, but now, days later, they’re still "reviewing" it.

It’s mind-boggling. This company has no concept of urgency or customer service. They have no problem wasting months of your time with empty promises like “we’ll update you soon” and “please bear with us.” A month and a half later, and I’m still stuck in limbo.

Xapo is slow, disorganized, and completely unreliable. I paid for their terrible services, and all I got in return was frustration and endless delays. Do yourself a favor: DON’T OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM. It's a waste of time, money, and energy. There are far better options out there.

Not user friendly

Review took 3 weeks even after verification zoom meetings. When l enquired about the delay on their chat forum, l was just continually fob off with excuses. My account is now closed and l would never recommend your service. Not customer friendly in any way.

Potential Scam — Beware

This app feels like a potential scam. It took them five days just to request my SWIFT details, and when I finally tried to make a transfer, they suddenly asked me to deposit 1k just to use the service. No legitimate apps like Revolut or Wise require anything like that. Users, be aware and cautious.

Very satisfied so far

I opened the account 2 months ago. So far so good. I’ve been using the debit cards and the experience has been flawless. The app works easy and it’s very intuitive. Good personalized service. I took a small loan and it was on rails.
I’d need more time for a thorough evaluation.

Initial Experiences

While I cannot comment extensively being a new customer, I can say that with the few requests I have made, the response from the bank has been quick with constant updating of the status of my request. I really appreciate the regular feedback. With regard to investing funds or BTC, it may be useful to provide more details for one to explore on the new products being offered.

Probably one of the most reliable…

Probably one of the most reliable crypto‑friendly banks. They assisted and advised me from the very beginning - even by phone - provided support with the mandatory KYC/AML procedures, and were always available to answer all my questions regarding their products and services.

Very good support by real account managers.

Though there have some complications in the beginning with the SWIFT account details for USD transfers, everything was solved. I learned now, that in the future this will not be any problem anymore. The support was very good, I got replies within a short time.
