My family has used Xcode twice (bought all reports available). The results are easy to interpret. They are very useful for managing a healthy lifestyle based on our individual needs. The results are more extensive and calculated slightly differently from the companies that provided the raw SNP data, which made them more medically informative. Jayme

Extremely useful information

My doctor recommended using this site and I did the master pack I think it's called for all the data I could get. There were a ton of awesome insights on health, nutrition, allergies, and a breakdown of any genetic diseases I carry and to what extent I carry them. Most of the information is simple enough for anyone to understand, but some reports have additional info that can be life changing for your doctor to analyze to better diagnose future issues and recommend proper vitamin supplementation or exercise plans.

SCAM! AVOID!

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!

After reading the reviews on Trustpilot, I was excited to put my order in. I went for the package with ALL reports because I trusted the source. I got my reports within about 10 mins of submitting my order?!? Now, I know this is all automated, but I would have expected someone to check them over. Clearly there was no human on the other end.

Regardless, I was excited to read the reports and findings and just found myself continually disappointed!! I apparently was prone to an EGG allergy, I was told I don't have a sweet tooth (I do...very big sweet tooth), my personality traits where completely off. None of it was true!! I literally felt like I had just thrown $139 down the drain.

I then went back to my email and found these statements:

"Ancestry tests are not diagnostic in nature. The reports are for informational purposes only. Only an exome test is clinically certified to diagnose conditions."

"The DNA raw data files from ancestry tests contain only 0.03% of your whole genome. Hence, these files may not have all the markers that are present in our database. "

So, the reports are not diagnostic and ON TOP OF THAT... they are only 0.03% accurate?!? You tell me after I have paid?!? Why isn't that the first thing I see on your website? You know why? Because then no one would order anything!

The cherry on top was when I emailed them with my concerns and asked for a refund, I never got a response! Not even a courtesy email back, even if they couldn't grant me a refund.

I should have known when they started advertising so called 'COVID test' reports?!? Big lesson learnt from me... hopefully none of you need to pay any money to learn this same lesson.

I am literally flabbergasted as to where all these positive reviews came from... perhaps like the reports - not from a human.

Exellent customer service

I'm very satisfied with Xcode life. I was really surprised to know some of my genetic predispositions, I started to change some things imediatelly and my energy levels increased drastically. I also started exercising the way my report suggested and for the first time in my life I wasn't exhausted at the end of the session.
The customer support is also amazing. Thank you!

Took the mfthr test to see if I had any of the mutations that cause folic acid metabolism issues. It’s turns out I had the mutation and I’ve discussed the results with my doctor and we can change some of my supplements to help with symptoms I’ve been having that are related to this mutation. Super thrilled to be able to do something about it.

Lifestyle

I took the raw data from 23andme and had Xcode Life look at my genomic data for the things that I was actually concerned about like APOE which turned out to be bad, but not as bad as could be. This information will help me make some important lifestyle changes. I’m on a ketogenic diet and the information provided suggests that I definitely need to change the sources of fats that I ingest.

Great reports

I got my results very quickly and the reports are easy to understand from a non-medical worker like myself. Definitely gives much more context to my 23&me health results.

For example, I've always disliked eggs and was cringing from some noises - my allergy report showed that according to my DNA, I have a predisposition to a slight egg intolerance and a condition called misophonia.

As of the nutrition report, for example, it says that according to my DNA, my body needs more vitB12 than the avg person. However, before rushing to buy vitamins, one needs to evaluate their current diet, lifestyle, and other factors - as the reports reveal DNA tendencies, they are not an actual screenshot of one's current health and needs. For example, I consume more fish and seafood than the avg person, as I am a pescatarian, which are the main sources of B12 and I might not need an additional dose.

I loved this

I loved this! I got my results SUPER fast and read through the report right away. It's very interesting to be able to find out such specific things about yourself from your DNA. I think the price is very reasonable considering what you get out of it and I'm so happy I found this company! Thanks! - Kady Graczewski

Highly valuable information

Amazing service, it has given me such value for money and a lot of information to work with. I went for the mega pack and I struggle to put weight on (underweight) the nutrition report was great in showing me what foods my body will gain weight. Other reports such as Fitness, Carrier, Personality etc. Also how to read your reports and tips on how to manage the high/red areas. Highly recommend, even if some information is not specifically true to you despite it showing in your DNA it is still worth knowing to give you something to work with and to keep in mind.

Would definitely recommend

I ordered the nutrition and health report for $20 each. I also shared one of their pages on my Facebook wall which gave me a $10 discount as well. The health report confirmed a lot of conditions that I already have, plus it predicted the high risk for few conditions like age-related macular degeneration and glaucoma that actually run in my family. The nutrition report was also pretty good as it had a lot of recommendations personalized to my results. Can't wait to discuss the reports with my doctor.

This isn't well researched enough to be useful. There's plenty of other services that blow this out of the water (and cost a lot less).
