Xcode reports were ok. Service was good and delivered reports in the time frame promised. I have marked them 3 stars only because I think the reports over promise and under deliver in terms of personalization. For example in the nutrition report you are given a rating for most vitamins and then recommendations are individual for that particular vitamin. Also within that vitamin there may be 2-3 recommendations on how to balance it. So within one report, the end user ends up with potentially 20+ generalized recommendations based on their genes but what do they do with this information. I expected the report to be more succinct than that. Also at the beginning there is a pie graph divided up with macronutrients. There’s no explanation as for its distribution or anything. So I feel although it looks like you’re getting a lot of information, it leaves you with a lot of data, very general explanations, and you need to spend a great deal of time to sift through and try to put a plan together for yourself. If I had my time again I probably wouldn’t order it unfortunately.

This site is great. I’d been watching a lot of the Gary Becka videos about methylation tests and how they can help identify gene mutations and since we had already done a dna test with ancestry dna it was easy to just drop in our raw data from there and within just 1 day we had our results and are working towards our health now knowing ourselves better. At a much lower cost it’s a no brainer.

Xcode Life provides a really easy to read report full of information. I was surprised at how detailed the results were. I went with a package that allowed me to save even more. Highly recommend this company for DNA analysis. Keep in mind they do not run DNA tests, but will analyze your raw data.

I uploaded my raw ancestry dna data, super easy and got the results back in about 12 hours. The reports are clear and I believe that the insights to how to help my blood pressure are there! I can now suppliment for this and change my diet to match my body needs and hopefully change the root of the problem instead of the symptom !!

I did my 23andme and wanted to get a little more insight into my biology. Xcodelife provided some useful things about me. Found out i have a gene that gives higher risk to diabetes and heart disease (i'm not fat or plan to be, so risk is mitigated). Fractures are a risk too. It confirmed the same thing that says I'm more built for power based sports than the ones for endurance. I was surprised to find that I'm more of an early riser than a late one cause I have bad habits making me sleep late. No excuses anymore for that. Good buy, they came in pdf reports so i had to scroll through and read a bit before finding the things that were relevant for me. Good overall! 4.5/5.0

I had my MTHFR report done through Xcode Life, which was very helpful in working with my functional medicine practitioner. Once you have 23 and Me or another genetic company sequence your genome, you can get additional information and understanding of your genetics through Xcode Life for a reasonable price compared to just getting the MTHFR report done individually.

One of the best DNA testing companies around.

I did the MTHFR gene test through this company! I uploaded my 23 and me raw data and got my results quick within 48 hours. I had a hard time understanding my results but I emailed them to get better clarification and someone responded within hours and help me better understand my results! I was very pleased!

Xcode.Life made the process of unlocking health information from my genetic data really easy. The reports were easy to read and the information really interesting.

Generated really nice reports and I like how each report focused on a specific area. The results were confirmed with medical testing so happy with the accuracy.

Also very responsive customer service. Overall I’m really pleased with this service, so much so that we are ordering reports for other members of the family.

Hello, if I could put zero stars, I would I purchased my kit A month or so ago I have not received an email or any response. I am not interested in the product any longer due to this lack of professionalism and it seems this company does not provide full refunds, although they are not providing a full service. I’m not understanding why I am losing out on money when the company did not provide anything. Xcode if you’re seeing this comment, can you please provide a full refund, I’m not happy with this service.

Customer service did get back to me fairly quickly within a day of my email to them, I wanted to honestly put here that I was not aware that the service was not an additional DNA kit that is sent to your house. That is my only issue with the company is that, that part of the service is not more explicit and clear otherwise the service the product they provided was great and let me know things about my health that I was not aware of. I would consider purchasing another product from them again.

I had high expectations for this service but have been left extremely underwhelmed and dissatisfied.

I compare Xcode Life to the company Theranos. The service looks advanced and promising until you look below the surface.

The portal is extremely poor quality. There is a distinct lack of technology capability which doesn’t align with the service proposition.

The reports are all hard copies produced manually using templates with poor content and user experience. In fact only the appended file name links the report to the customer, leading to high risk of mixing up reports.

The results can only be described as useful for entertainment purposes only, but I’m not entertained. The Gene Health report is probably the entire opposite to reality. I also question the markers identified and the corresponding results in this test.

The Methylation report was one I looked forward to the most but it was absolutely useless. Only two rows provided info on prominent MTHFR SNPs related to methotrexate and cancer which are of no interest. The table with all other SNPs provided no supporting information and no useful key to describe how to interpret the table, the introduction does not explain as it should.

If you are looking for accurate, detailed and actionable information then I would look elsewhere I'm afraid.

Oh dear, oh dear. A company we trust with our DNA data is openly sharing the private communications with their customers. That, I’m afraid, is a major fail.

I asked for a refund, not a partial refund.

Your response has encouraged me to update the title of my review, congratulations. You would do good remember that I was a customer who parted with a lot of money for this service. So do not respond back to me with your condescending and passive aggressive tone. You need to sack whoever is in charge of customer relations.

Was trying to find a health report about gene fitness for DNA and unfortunately came across other companies who could not pull out that data from the raw file until I discovered xcode life's Gene Report.
Happy with how easy the process was to upload the data and the quick turnaround time within 24 hours to provide a very concise and clear detailed analysis unlike what I have received elsewhere. Thumbs up.

Came across Genome Pack from Xcode.Life online. I was curious what helpful information they would give. So even though i wasn't sure what to expect, i decoded to give it ago. It took about 36 hours before i got my results, and after reading through pages of information I very satisfied. I learned a lot about my physical and mental health. Example i w started taking some supplements that I would not have taken normally, and it improved my daily health. I would recommend Xcode.Life.

Easy process, great clear instructions for data upload, and very comprehensive results.

I opted for the nutrition report and it contained everything I was hoping for. I initially bought the 23andme test and was disappointed since it did not cover key metrics and data I was looking for. Hence, I paid USD40 for the Gene Nutrition report from XCode and the problem was solved – now I have all the data I wanted.

The customer service was awesome, I had a problem caused by me purchasing 2 Genome packs for my wife and myself. Some how I had them both under the same account with a bad (typo) email address. One email and it was corrected. The amount of information we recieved was amazing.

I was thrilled with my experience with Xcode life ! Number one, they replied in less than 30 min to my questions. This was well after midnight ! I work nights so I’m always up late doing things and I had not expected a reply so fast . Not only that , they followed up again, to say they noticed I uploaded already and welcomed me . Then my result ETA update came in in less than 6 hrs, and before morning they were in! This was thanksgiving weekend. Then, I could not figure out how to read my results on my iPhone . So I reached out again . Not only did they respond promptly , another contact from the team took the liberty to email my pdf versions so I could T least see the basics until I got to a computer to print them out or where I could open file on a desk top to see the more detailed files . I had mentioned I was away from home and very excited to see my results , but my cell was having issues. That was an unsolicited action to get my results that instant ! I really appreciate that ! The entire experience was quick and easy and the results were detailed and very easy to understand . When I got on line to where I had full access , not only do you see your results , you can click on almost anything, and get an explanation of what it means . There are a lot of words or medical terms I had never heard of. At first , I was asking Alexa , then I realized you could pull it up right there ! So far and beyond my sisters 23 & me. We compared and now she is going to do Xcode too! I was surprised at some of it , and had a hunch about some that made total sense in what was happening currently with my health . I will absolutely address the areas I need to be mindful of. These results even confirmed stuff I just read in my Annual physical blood work reports . I had really been thinking of a full genome sequencing blood test that still cost 1-2k once you get it all interpreted. Most of which you don’t need . So this was an amazing find . I researched online , on and off for a year before I chose Xcode.life I’m so glad I did !! Thank you !
