Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible. Company kept changing delivery dates. When they did show up they only brought half the order. We spent hours on the phone trying to get them to keep their word but they just kept changing the date. If your purchase is time sensitive you won't get it on time.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Very poor. Why Homebase uses them is a mystery to me. 2 separate sets of tracking data (hyper links) provided on day of delivery simply didn't work, meaning a potential delivery anywhere from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. Landline number provided was still "answering calls in the order they are received" after 15 mins of having me on hold. AVOID!

This is the worst business I've ever had dealings with and when you call their customer service team they put you on hold every single one of them put me on hold for at least 10 minutes and still rude and unhelpful avoid this company

Avoid if you can

Avoid if you can. I placed order through Homebase, so I had no choice. After 3 rescheduled deliveries kitchen tiles delivered, two weeks late, one box missing. Driver would not give me paperwork/machine to report missing box.

XPO Transport Solutions Ireland Ltd is contracted for delivering online furniture delivery on behalf of IKEA. If I could give 0 stars I would. The delivery man upon arriving at my place only called mpbile phone but did not dial intercom and as a result i missed the delivery which now I had to contact IKEA to reschedule. When I called the driver directly after 20 mins, he lied to me about dialing intercom while I have cameras in the building and I could see there was no such attempt made. IKEA charges 50 euro for this delivery service and XPO Transpprt are not making sufficient delivery attempts. My delivery now had to be rescheduled fro another week and I'm getting a small gesture of good will from IKEA for the issue (but this gesture doesn't even cover half of the delivery cost). The whole process is highly unsatisfying with XPO company not fulfilling their obligation and lying about it amd customer delivery being delayed by a full week. My friend had similar issue and after checking reviews here I can see how low ratings this company has so really dont understand why IKEA Ireland are using their services.

Just dreadful

Just dreadful, if I could give zero stars I would. Was messed around with delivery dates (I actually wasted a days holiday from work to sit in and wait fir the delivery which never arrived) terrible communication. XPO were also tasked with installing the equipment being delivered. It's was so poorly installed, the manufacturer are now sending a service technician to try and rectify the damage. Avoid this company at ALL costs.

XPO + Homebase UK = STAY AWAY

This is for the UK. XPO is the WORST HOMEBASE could choose. I had to wait 7 hours on Saturday for them to deliver. I called the XPO ( homebase courier) 2 times and tell them I can't accept delivery after 3pm. On the live tracking they change nine times(from 9am till 3.26pm, I kept the proof of this) the estimated delivery time and they came at 3.33pm, when I wasn't home. The driver has never called me to inform for specific delivery time. When the driver called me he "ensured" me they would reschedule the delivery ASAP, I stupidly thought they are proper company they would delivered on Monday. I should've think they are "professionals" when I saw the confirmation that my package was delivered. I called Homebase on Monday the 18/12/2023 and they "managed" to book a delivery for the 16/12/2023(yes they can travel back in time). I called XPO 2 time on Monday(18/12), one on Tue 19/12 but my calls were forwarded to voicemail. They had never come back to me. I call them this morning and I find out that they hadn't rescheduled my delivery. As a result my order can't be delivered before the 03/01/2024 when they could actually deliver on Mon 18/12 or Wed 20/12. Immediately, I called Homebase and their representative was surprised that my order wasn't rescheduled for today but then he tried to covered because they were supposed to do it and they didn't (the call is recorded). BTW, my package is an 1.5hours away from my house and they refused to deliver till the end of the week.

Would give a zero if I could

Would give a zero if I could. A company I buy from uses this company to ship me goods out of Washington State. Shipment was suppose to get here 3 days ago. Not today they are saying "maybe tomorrow". It is sitting less than and hour from my house for 3 days now. Unbelievable. I have had a full crew on hand because what is on this truck needs to be used to finish orders we need to ship. If the company I am ordering from doesn't fire XPO Logistics I will not continue to use them. They have an F rating with the better business bureau. Shame on any company who uses them and subjects their customers to this HORRIBLE service. Not to mention, their rates are way too high. Overpriced and bad service. Not a good combination for staying in business.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. The drivers are a liability- our latest experience is when they hit our gate post - drove off. Thankfully we caught it on CCTV - they couldn’t deny it after pretending they didn’t hit our gatepost! They then tried to intimidate me into bodging a repair! Now we are locked into a battle to get a proper repair. Management aren’t management but cowboys - don’t trust XPO or any of their sub contractors.

Believe every negative review

Believe every negative review! All day my delivery slot kept changing. Wasted a whole day. The driver then calls me and said he's 45 minutes away and do I want to wait? Do I want to wait? I've waited the whole day! Homebase need to use a different delivery service. I will never order a large item from them again. I firmly believe that the drivers are given far too many items and therefore struggle to make delivery slots.

Prompt delivery

Prompt delivery, eventhough my home is in a rural area and difficult to find with a post code. Grish was very helpful and pleasant and grateful when I gave instruction over the phone. Good experience all round.

truly dreadful company

IKEA used this company to deliver an order of there goods. Driver left approx 60% of my order, then called later in the day to say he found the rest in the back of the van.He said he would be back out within 48hrs with the rest. total lie, and not answering numerous calls we've made. Never use this company

If I could give ZERO stars I would, This is the absolute worst delivery company I have ever encountered. I ordered dog food on a subscription, so logically I have DOGS. The yard is fenced in so if the dogs are outside they are not accessible!!! The driver was afraid for his safety because he saw DOGS.. Like really? so, he refused to deliver oh and WHY do I need to SIGN for DOG FOOD? Can someone PLEASE make tell me how this makes sense?

Delivery by Grish Babayan excellent

Delivery by Grish Babayan today was very slick. He called 20 mins ahead of drop to advise he would be on the way. We have a gated property and dogs so Grish said he would call as he arrived, which he did. Very pleasant man. Excellent servce

Communicative & efficient

Text service and tracker told me where my delivery was at, driver Grish rang ahead to let me know they were 15 minutes away. Everything was taken into my garage smoothly and efficiently and Grish was polite throughout. Could not have gone better

Useless, liars, incompetent

Driver did not follow simple instructions so failed to deliver. Next day given a excuse they had forgotten to load the fridge but promised it on the Monday, no communication and told on Monday the driver was off sick and they would try and deliver on Tuesday, Company is totally incompetent, liars and useless, The deliver was from Nisbets and i will not order off Nisbets again is the continue to use XPO to deliver. I spoke to a member of staff at the dep who said she had so many emails could not keep uptodate with problem's!
