Hugely disappointing

Hugely disappointing. Ordered a LOL doll for my little granddaughter. Then received a notification that my order was cancelled. on the same day.
Quite obvious that customers are being used as a cash cow as I haven't received a refund nor have they cancelled the transaction. Plus they cancelled all their messages so there`s no audit trail.
I don`t know why they think it`s good fun to take my money and disappoint a small child.
Shame on them!
Now I have to initiate a dispute which is just wearing.

If a transaction was cancelled on the same day, any authorisation would have been automatically released by your payment provider — depending on the card issuer or PayPal, this can take a few working days to appear back in your account.

Drop shipping company Shocking avoid at all costs shouldn’t be allowed to trade

Absolutely shocking and appalling store first of all they sell everything cheaper now no idea so you think your getting a good deal so instead of going via eBay with them I went direct to get a gift as it had a discount. Spent £42 the seller then gives me a false tracking number then sent me on a wild chase trying to find it hours of calls to no avail to be told it’s the wrong tracking then even then still an issue didn’t post when they said the items arrived completely smashed to smithereens left me with no gift and a huge mess I cut myself on. I contacted the seller says he’s called Paul he isn’t at all pseudo name , who told me he would refund me after many emails more this was early march as I had no refund in over a week I requested a charge back from my bank here is where it gets worse so then they say they approved the chargeback gave me another false payment id hours on to the bank had to email again to be given another code as they made another error , saying they refunded it they had not I checked with the bank they only refunded me today 3 weeks later and 20 hours of wasted time. Also was told the bank charged them £10 for the chargeback the bank told me that’s false they do not charge for chargebacks to a retailer so you can’t trust this retailer pay the extra fee quid and go somewhere else they always take forever to come and if something goes wrong it’s a nightmare if you have to buy from them go via eBay at least your protected then but I’d avoid shopping here like the plague the utter worst of the worst and shows in reviews never even responded to his negative reviews as they don’t care once have your money avoid at all costs.

This company are a drop-shipping company who use third party suppliers to send the goods which is why they don’t offer any tracking from the onset as they are selling things they don’t even have again it’s bad all round avoid

Our Business Model & Operations
We are not a dropshipping company. We deal directly with manufacturers and suppliers, sourcing our products from reputable and trusted partners and dispatch from our own warehouse.

Over the years, we have successfully shipped millions of parcels to satisfied customers across various platforms, including eBay, Amazon, and our own website. The overwhelming majority of our orders arrive on time and in perfect condition.

Shipping & Refund Process
Your order was dispatched promptly through Royal Mail with tracking provided. Unfortunately, it appears the parcel suffered damage during transit. We understand how disappointing this was and sincerely apologize.

When the parcel was found to be damaged, we offered you a refund. However, because you initiated a chargeback with your bank, this significantly complicated and delayed the process.

When a chargeback is initiated, the refund is then managed by your bank and our payment processor, which can take longer than a standard refund processed directly by us. A Chargeback fee (paid by us, the store) is standard for all payment processors, you can check online and confirm this.

Resolution
We accepted the chargeback prompty on March 17th, 2025, as because a chargeback was started a refund was no longer possible by our payment processor.

We have since been informed by you that your bank has finally processed the refund. We are pleased this matter has been resolved, though we regret the frustration caused by the delays.

Important Note to Future Customers:
Had the customer waited for us to process a normal refund rather than initiating a chargeback, the refund would have been completed almost instantly. Chargebacks involve a complex process between banks and payment processors that we have limited control over.

We take all customer feedback seriously and continuously strive to improve our services. While the vast majority of our transactions are successful, when things do go wrong, we aim to resolve issues swiftly and fairly. I would also advise anyone reading this to take a look at the customers review profile.

We are sorry that this experience did not meet your expectations, and we will use this feedback to continue improving our processes and communication.

Poor experience

Bought an item with lead time of around 10 days, on the final day before delivery was due the order was cancelled due to 'stock discrepancy'
Poor stock management, and it shouldn't take 10 days to sort out. Two stars as it wasn't necessary to chase. Avoid

A good experience

Stumbled on this company. Ordered single item, p&p was reasonable not some stupid fixed price.
Confirmation and Updates sufficient.
Arrived on time, even though that's dependant on courier.
Packaging was sufficient.
Thank you for not using oversized boxes or the usual "wrapped in a binbag".

Great website with great service

Item arrived packaged very well and came in a brand new condition as described. They used a reputable delivery service and I was provided many updates to where my order was at. This was my first ever time using this site and I would 100% use it again with no hesitations.

This company are a dropshipping company…

This company are a dropshipping company who use third party suppliers to send the goods which is why they don’t offer any tracking from the onset.
Their main dropship company is nemesis now, so whatever products you buy that are listed under the nemesis now category, be mindful that you’re not actually buying them from YACHEW. This company specialise in dropshipping products and have done so for approximately 18 months
They do not keep an eye on out of stock products with the supplier which is why they are continually failing to send orders and are emailing customers to inform them that product went out of stock.
It didn’t go out of stock at the alleged YACHEW warehouse, it went out of stock with the company they use to dropship the orders.
Be mindful that wholesalers such as ancient wisdom, something different and nemesis now all offer dropshipping services so if you happen to see any products made by those companies on YACHEW website, eBay or otherwise, just know that you are not buying from YACHEW and if the supplier is out of stock, you won’t be getting it !
Furthermore the gentleman responding to the reviews is not called Pete. YACHEW is an Indian owned business and they do not hold any stock supplied by the 3 wholesalers listed above.
Also, if you find that they’re charging postage for products supplied by the above aforementioned, please note that it isn’t YACHEW sending the orders out and that postage starts at £2.95 (Royal Mail business ) so if they are charging you excessive amounts of postage, it’s basically to increase the price of the product.
They are selling you products that they don’t physically hold and will be making anywhere from £5-£30 profit per order by doing this - all whilst the wholesalers do all of the work. ( Assuming they have your orders in stock ) If the wholesalers do not have your order available at the time of sale, YACHEW will keep the full price of the order until they either decide to refund you your money or pay the supplier their share to send the products when they come back in to stock which could be anywhere from a few weeks to months thereafter the purchase date.

I wouldn’t buy from this company if I were you.

Waste of time

Waste of time. Ordered a vinyl for my dad before christmas and It didn't arrive, i had to email for an update and they ensured me they were sorting it and it was on its way. 3 weeks later I've received a notification saying they aren't able to get the product and I've been refunded. Disappointing all round considering it was a christmas gift.
