I have a 1.2 connection that was working fine I was getting clse to the 1.2 speeds. Then all of a suddend it started dropping. I find out they are doing an upgrade and I should be getting 250 while they are upgrading to a new system to give super fast speets . Well I was getting 5mbps tro 40 at best. this went on for a week. Once the service came back up i was down to 780mbps. Now that is a fas connection but not the 1.2 gbps that I was getting before. So for me it was a downgrade.
The support do not seem to care or want tro help.
As to the reply from yayzi this is a flat out lie. How would you know what my address details or who I am from my account name on here. You have not contacted me in any way. This is misleading and shows your willing to not be truthful.

Appalling Service
Yayzi have been doing a network upgrade this week with service being appalling during this time, they were supposed to be limiting speeds to 250Mbps but my speed was more like 5Mbps. Upgrade was supposed to be completed yesterday but connections were taking hours to reconnect and get an IP address. They have just disconnected everyone to do a reboot of their DHCP server which cut me off again for 45 minutes. I am also going to look at getting out of contract. How can this upgrade improve things, it's worse. Also Ping times have doubled from 7-8 ms to 14-15ms now. Look elsehwere for an ISP!

Constant failure, headache and lies
If you value your sanity, go to any company except for Yayzi.
From day one, the company and service has been complete shambles; both customer service and ISP service.
There is always an excuse, and it’s never their fault.
The support team are very optimistic, but never deliver on timescales or promises.
I hope Ofcom get involved and shutdown Yayzi before any other poor customers get sold a dream which will never be delivered by a company which displays nothing except totally incompetence.
Edit: thanks for the reply. Not as expected is an understatement. I think the only people who the issues would be “unexpected” to are complete novices. Funny how no other ISP has issues alike this. The issues still aren’t fixed. Alike everything with Yayzi, one issue resolved, another crops up… but of course, it’s out of yours hands.
I advise everyone to have a look at talk.yayzi.co.uk to see the real customer reports on the constant string of issues…

Very frustrated with Yayzi
Very frustrated with Yayzi. I pay for the 1.2gig download speed and I have never received anything near this. I would say the fastest I have ever received is 700mb which to be honest is fine so never complained. However, they have recently done an 'upgrade' and dropped everyone's speeds to 250mbps until 11/12/24 to accommodate these changes which again..fine. Since this 'upgrade' I am now around at around 36mbps which is just over 1.5% of the speed I have paid for. Tried using their portal to highlight this and they just close it without any rectification or communication. This is poor! I will be looking to get out of this contract as they clearly can't hold up their end of it

Dont believe the hype as its clear Yayzi have paid for false praising
City Fibre installed this line two years ago, i started with Giganet as i work from home for an international company and disabled, and had no issue in that period.
Seen Yayzi for £10 extra and twice the bandwidth thought i would give it a try. Big mistake, internet flapping (up and down speeds inconsistent) and recently some maintenance work to move customers on to their own network. For the last seven days, i cant download, my VPN has issues and my daughter cant work from home because of the stability of this service. Contacted support and they have said its taking longer than expected and so i am going to have to wait an additional three days.
Fibre connections can handle Forty Gigabytes of throughput yet i am not even getting 8,388,608 bits (1mb) of service. Absolutely shocking.

Shows promise but still has a way to go
I was with Yayzi for a whopping 1.5 weeks. I will try to be fair in my review and outline my reasons for switching as soon as I did. It's worth noting that Yayzi was my first CityFibre ISP as CityFibre had just installed their infrastructure at this apartment complex.
Choosing Yayzi seemed like a no-brainer. The speeds offered looked great and the cost was cheaper than other ISPs. The additional perks (mainly IPv6) were decent enough although Yayzi only offers a /60 rather than the typical /48. You know, in case you decide to buy a few billion laptops and phones.
In terms of the speed - I did receive very close to what was advertised. 2.2Gbit on a 2.3Gbit package. The means of reaching out to Yayzi was also very convenient as they generally responded quickly to my emails, as well as responding to threads on their community forum and Discord.
Moving on to the reasons for my switch:
1. Their community forum and Discord are administered by somebody who does a LOT of hand-waving to pass blame off to 3rd parties. Any time somebody raises an issue with latency or additional features not functioning, it's either CityFibre's fault or there's a speech about how Virgin Media is terrible. I know this has frustrated other customers because I've received DMs via their Discord and forums from users who have said as much, as well as users calling out this behaviour in certain forum threads - myself included. This plays a part in the other issues listed below. Considering this person is supposed to relay customer issues, complaints etc back to Yayzi, I have serious doubts that genuine issues are being raised as things which Yayzi should look in to.
2. Latency was all over the place with many spikes in the evening. It's difficult to raise this as an issue with Yayzi, unless you contact them directly while evidencing many other users posts, since the aforementioned forum admin blames any network issue on CityFibre. When that's proven otherwise then the same person moves on to blame something else like Think Broadband's BQMs.
3. IPv6 wasn't working out of the box as there was no DHCPv6 Server broadcasting on the network. This was resolved once I was migrated to another network. The reason I call this out as a problem is because the same blaming game started and I had to scour the forums myself to discover that many other users, on the same IP range, had this issue too. I'd then contacted support who said I'd be migrated within 72 hours - but it actually took 1.5 weeks.
4. It's difficult to receive a timeframe on when something may take place. See my point #3 for an example. While I was told I'd be migrated in 72 hours, it actually took 1.5 weeks and I had probed for any update on what was delaying the switch - while making clear that I'm was only looking for a finger in the air estimate that was more accurate than 72 hours. Whether it's coincidence or not, I was only migrated after I'd sent a cancellation email.
5. While I'm no longer a customer, I've been monitoring the forums as I was planning to keep my options open for a potential switch back when they resolve the issues. They're in the process of migrating to a new peering network. Initially it seemed very difficult to seek timeframes for the migration, but they did eventually provide some. From what I've read of Yayzi's forum posts, they've speed-capped people to 250Mbits. Whether or not those users are being compensated is a private matter between Yayzi and the customers. One of Yayzi's new leased IP blocks is also recognized as being based in Iran - causing problems for their customers that work from home and work for companies that flag certain countries.
Now that I've moved to another CityFibre based provider, IDnet (who use the same National backbone as Yayzi), there are no latency spikes outside of the rare intermittent spike when it is clear that CityFibre are doing some infrastructure work. Certainly none of the spikes that I saw with Yayzi.
Overall: Yayzi shows promise as an ISP. They offer good speeds at cheaper prices and are generally on top of trying to get better speeds by engaging with CityFibre around XGS-PON. However, they do have a way to go yet and I wouldn't recommend them, until they get to that point, if you work from home.
Yayzi needs to get better at giving timescales - this point isn't specific to their migration, but general issues need accurate timescales. If I'm told that something will be resolved within 72 hours then I have been set up with an expectation of it being resolved.
As for the hand-waving and constant downplaying of issues on the forum; if this person is supposed to represent the customer facing side of Yayzi then Yayzi needs to put a stop to that so that issues are looked at objectively rather than being downplayed

Giving out Iranian IP’s and can’t…
Giving out Iranian IP’s and can’t access important work portals due to geo issues thinking I’m in Iran. Steer clear and pick another CF provider.

Customer service management failures across the board
Service outage. Reported. Ignored for hours then closed because "it'll be fixed soon". It wasn't. Reported again. No response for 8 hours then a request for images I had already supplied. Ignored again. Chased on WhatsApp. Told there was a problem and they'll have to get cityfibre out. But still no service update. Also apparently WhatsApp isn't working for them. But also is. What a hot mess of customer service failure. Lack of communication. Lack of expectation management. Misleading messaging. Impersonal and detached approach to customer management.

Have 2 connections and no complaints with yayzi
So far I have 2 connections with yayzi, for 6-12 months, both are decent and had minimal issues, the odd time I have had an issue, there support is always there and responsive.
Had 2 issues, both dealt with quickly. Great service & price!
I'm only in my 2nd month of service with Yayzi, but I am impressed with the service & the communication so far when I have had issues.
The first problem was that my previous provider hadn't been notified of the line changeover & had tried to charge me for another month at a new inflated price, as my fixed term contract had come to an end. This was despite me contacting them in advance to try to inform them myself & being told I didn't need to.
It took jumping through multiple hoops over 3 days with the previous provider to work out what had gone on. After speaking to 5 different people on the phone, I negotiated them down to a 7 day cancellation notice because they accepted I had tried to inform them but their advice had been inadequate.
By comparison, once I knew what had happened, it only took one email to Yayzi to confirm the issue. They accepted the previous provider notice had been missed & offered to credit me for the final period I was charged by them.
We then had an outage of around 24 hours on a Sunday. I contacted via email at 21:00 and had a response with actions to try at 00:30, which I attempted the following morning without success.
I followed up & it was discovered the outage was related to a network upgrade. We had been notified previously of possible latency issues with the service during the upgrade period, but unfortunately this resulted in a full outage they were hoping to avoid.
They also said I would be credited for the outage.
In all my interactions I have found them to be responsive & technically knowledgeable, unlike other customer service centres where the staff must follow set question lists with no ability to think outside the box.
Apart from that one outage, which was explainable & understandable, the service has been rock solid at a very reasonable price.
Very disapointed we the service
Very disapointed with the service
First lot of installers refused to carryout the works because there was 4 foot of concreteprint between the flowerbed and house. They said yayzi would be in touch to rebook install...nobody did. Had to organise and pay someone else to cut a channel and then email yayzi ourselves to ask for a appointment. Second lot of installers turned up, 5 of them, refused to dig a trench in the flowerbed to bury the cable stating that there were to many roots and just tucked it under the weed membrane. Didn't cover the section in the concrete either, said they didnt have anything to backfill.
We paid £100 to have 2000mb installed and £50 per month. But we're only getting speeds of around 300mb. That is if and when it works. Constantly losing connection. Tried emailing and watsapping, because there is no helpline but without any success. Lucky we havn't had Virgin disconnected just yet but disappointed that we could have had the current speed from Virgin for half the price of Yayzi and without cutting the concretprinting☹️

Shocking incompetence.
No internet for a week
They have been unable to provide internet for a week now and they just blame CityFibre, we were getting internet thought CityFibre for years before they took over as our ISP.
Shocking incompetence.
Update on Yayzi's response:
The issue was not resolved and I've cancelled my contract with them, they have closed my support tickets without addressing my complaints so I'll be raising a formal complaint and taking this to the ombudsman if required.
Now we'll be without internet until we can get a new provider.

Very poor initial experience.
Very poor experience.
CityFibre installed the equipment but Yayzi have been unable to provide the internet connection. All issues are apparently due to CityFibre and while I cannot prove this is untrue, it is wholly unacceptable to offer a paid service that you cannot guarantee.
No other ISP I have used in 3 decades have been unable to activate a connection on the first attempt. Regardless of whether the issues lie with Yayzi's tech stack/software or CityFibre's infrastructure, this has been by far the most frustrating internet service experience I have ever had.
Update: Internet was up and running 5 days after the scheduled installation. Since then it has been faultless.

Transferred from Giganet to Yayzi
Transferred from Giganet to Yayzi, after having no internet for 2 weeks which I'm certain is related to this City Fibre arrive and switch the ONT then leave and tell me all working, turns out it isn't working so email Yayzi support and I'm told City fibre haven't shared some config details with them. Now you'd expect Yayzi to be on this and ensure everything was in place before taking money out of my bank this morning for something that doesn't work!!!! Support gone quiet and I'm left with a dead connection with no fix timeline. Be aware gang!!!
*******Further to this I will say that the issues were out of Yayzi control and credit to them for going above and beyond to get the connection working. Pleased to say working sweet now 👌

Fantastic support
Support was really quick over email and Stefan was great at helping me set up my router and get my Internet access sorted. It's early days, but can't fault my experience so far.
Wonderful customer services
Signed up with Yayzi two weeks ago and wanted to have it activated as soon as few days for some reason unfortunately couldn't arranged that so had to wait until the date that I originally booked in. However their customer services via email was very helpful trying his best to arrange an earlier date for me and gave me very transparent advices.
On the day of activation the broadband wasn't connected right away after the installation but the again the CS team responded within a minute and got itd connected within 5 mins. Wonderful services.
Top Notch Service!
I had the service installed about 10 days ago, however upload speeds were absymal, talking 20mbps or so.
Chris, Stefan, and Cody at Yayzi immedietely recognised there was an issue, and Chris went thoroughly out of his way to help me troubleshoot the issue.
We tried a new router, to no avail, and ended up getting CityFibre out, who immedietly realised there was an issue with the installation. 30 minutes later, problem resolved.
Incredibly fast responding customer services team. Really happy with them.
I am glad I made the move to Yayzi
I am glad I made the move to Yayzi. Everything worked perfectly for me right from the start. Ordering was easy. They delivered the router when it was supposed to arrive. The team from CityFibre appeared on the day as advised. Installation was quick and clean. And everything worked right away. What a difference the speed made. So far, so good. However, when I installed my mesh network, I was experimenting a bit. Suddenly my speed dropped, and I could no longer get the 2 Gig I had before. I contacted the support, who were extremely helpful.
The fault I had was down to me. I felt like a fool. Yet, the guys remained just as friendly as they had been all along.
Since then, everything has worked perfectly, and I am thrilled with the service I receive. Thanks to everyone involved. You are amazing, and to top it all, at an exceptional value for money.
