I have used it for 64days now and it has helped me do what 3 years of fasting has not been able to get me to do. I lost 13kgs since I started using this app. I like the AI food identification and the fact that you can edit the food in the event that AI gets the food wrong

It’s an amazing app

It’s an amazing app , I lost 17 kg in 100 days. The AI function could be little bit better and more products by barcode scanning outside of EU

Fantastic but has been getting worse

Pros:
It’s the best App for tracking your calories in the EU. I don‘t know about other countries but the sortiment of German groceries is almost 100% in their databank. Its simple and easy to use, works with streaks and other stuff to motivate you just like Duolingo or other apps, not something you would need but it‘s neat.

Cons: The app is way too slow. What i mean by this is that tracking one meal should take about a few seconds, but due to unskippable animations (for streak and mention of the pro version EVERY TIME you change something about your meal) it takes almost double the time. And that‘s not even considering the ads.
The price of the pro version is very cheap, but I don‘t see any reason to buy it other than getting rid of the annoying animation. I always close the app once an ad or animation plays.

The App has been getting worse; Ai scanning for a quick estimate was free, now it‘s part of the pro plan. The revamp doesn‘t look too good and the mascot needs fleshing out (I don‘t think they need a mascot at all).

In summary, as of right now it‘s the best free app to use for me, but it has been getting worse and there‘s no guarantee that it‘ll stop like every sloppification of every single app.

It’s an easy-to-use tool for tracking tool

It’s an easy-to-use tool for tracking food intake, planning meals, tracking steps and exercise. I also really like the auto-tracking for protein, fat and carbs. I set my goal weight and Yazio helps me with calorie management to meet that goal and then adjusts when I decide to maintain the current weight. It’s a flexible, affordable way to reach my weight and health goals.

Easy to use, affordable, ai generation cannot be disabled.

App is great and easy to use, especially after the first week or so because most of what you eat regularly comes up as a suggestion. It cost me roughly £30 for a year of usage. My main issue is that pretty much time you input what you've eaten, it generates an ai pop-up. as far as i can tell there isnt a way to disable the feature either.

487 days later and still part of my daily routine

I’ve been using YAZIO for 487 days now, so this review comes from real daily use, not just trying the app for a week. At this point it has simply become part of my daily routine.

What I like most about YAZIO is how practical and easy it is to use. Tracking food, calories and progress is very straightforward, which makes it much easier to stay consistent over time.

One feature I really appreciate is the flexibility of the app. If something isn’t in the database, you can easily create your own food entries and track things accurately. For someone who likes to keep an eye on what they eat, this is extremely helpful.

I’m also a premium subscriber, and I think the extra features are very well designed. The recipe section offers many options: you can filter meals by high protein, low carb, low fat, sugar free, vegan and more. There are also different calorie ranges, quick meals, simple recipes with few ingredients, and ideas for every part of the day. It feels like the app really tries to support different lifestyles and goals.

You can also personalise your profile and calorie targets, and even use fasting options if that’s part of your routine. All of this makes the app flexible and easy to adapt to your own habits.

After using YAZIO almost every day for more than a year, I can honestly say it has helped me stay more aware of my nutrition and habits. If you’re looking for a practical and easy way to stay on top of your nutrition, YAZIO is definitely worth trying.

Very useful for tracking nutrition and habits

I really like this app because it provides recipes adjusted to the calories needed for each meal, which makes daily planning much easier. I also appreciate the water intake tracking and especially the ability to create and save my own meals and recipes.

The only downside is that the fasting start time cannot be changed. The app sets it at 20:00, but my fasting actually starts at 22:00 because my first meal is at 14:00.

Overall, it’s a very practical and well-designed app for managing nutrition and daily habits.

Record foods regularly.

Other than a glitch with entering my steps this app has been great for me. They have suggestions after you enter each meal so that you can improve your choices. I like that. I don’t always break my calories down the way they say but ultimately it’s about creating a calorie deficit. Looking up foods is relatively easy and the database is quite large and inclusive. Bottom line is, if you treat entering your food choices every day just as importantly as brushing your teeth you will always do it. That’s what makes you successful with this app. I can’t do much in the way of exercise because of a bad back, so I’ve been losing around 2 lbs a week for the duration. I’m now down 16.5 lbs.!!! I will add exercise once I’m down a sufficient amount, but so far I’m quite happy with what I have accomplished. And if you CAN exercise in moderation I’m sure your results will be even more impressive! Get this app. It’s cheap and it really helps.

Excellent app that's keep you on track. Easy meals input with a huge library and a very convenient way with scan via AI..but this feuture needs development!!
Another nice future is the recipe creator. Also when you don't khow what to eat the suggested recipes is a big problem solver. Also is the best tracker for intermittent fasting!!
