The staff were extremely helpful and always available to us. Food was wonderful and they catered to our every need with a smile and quick response. Our guide, Ian, was also wonderful and put up with six crazy people in a joyful and informative manner. We had a most wonderful experience and would recommend Saruni Samburu with 5+ stars.
This lodge is absolutely gorgeous. The whole thing is built up on a hill so the views are spectacular. Villa 5 was beautiful and spacious. The food was delicious - although there was way too much of it for small eaters like my husband and myself. The staff did a great job of being around if you needed anything but being scarce when you were just enjoying the quiet. Our guide and tracker, Francis and Emmanuel, were the highlights of our stay. Riding along with them was a great first safari experience.
Extraordinary place to visit. Samburu warriors looking after us and the most wonderful experience. Take time to visit the village and enjoy their dancing.
The room with a view...absolutely superb. From the game drives to the team here...great food and loved it here.
