I just want to read Re:zero, I would rate this a zero if I could. they are consistently 10 volumes behind the Japanese LN translating wise and they constantly have translation mistakes. It's obvious that whoever is in charge of translating it doesn't care for it at all. made obvious by how the polish translation is consistently only a couple volumes behind, if not only one. Please give up the rights to someone else or just put more effort and passion into it, its such a good story. (P.S. They do this for a lot of other series as well.)

I purchased a collector’s edition of Solo Leveling: Ominous (ISBN 9788855414615) expecting high-quality content for the $125 I spent. What I got instead was a book filled with awkward grammar, unnatural phrasing, and noticeable translation mistakes—starting as early as page 45. It reads more like a first-pass fan translation than a professionally edited release.

I contacted Yen Press customer service, hoping for a replacement, a refund, or even access to a proper digital edition. I received the same generic reply twice, with no solution or acknowledgment beyond “we’ll forward your feedback.”

If you care about quality writing, I can’t recommend this edition at all. Wait for a reprint, or better yet, seek out the original web novel translations. This release does not reflect the quality fans deserve or what the price tag demands.
