I was invited to a Telegram group by a user who claimed to have discovered a "guaranteed profit-sharing program" called TradeVault, which pooled USDT from investors to execute leveraged trades on BTC and ETH, with profits distributed daily. The group was filled with members sharing their withdrawal confirmations and praising the platform's transparency, and the admin provided a referral link to sign up. I started with $20,000 in USDT on TradeVault, and within three weeks my balance grew to $34,000, with daily payouts that seemed to validate the platform's legitimacy. The scheme unraveled when I tried to withdraw $150,000 after depositing another $250,000, and the platform demanded a $50,000 "risk management fee" and $45,000 "profit clearance charge." I paid both, but the platform went offline, and the Telegram group was deleted.
I eventually brought in (Advisory- Grainge), who traced my USDT through a network of exchange wallets and discovered that the platform was a Ponzi scheme, paying early investors with new deposits. Through coordination with a centralized exchange, they recovered my original $270,000 deposit, teaching me that even a platform with daily profit distributions can be a carefully disguised Ponzi scheme.
