They automatically deducted the renewal…

They automatically deducted the renewal fee without any notice, I no longer need to use it and requested a refund immediately after that but they refused. After purchasing, if you do not want to renew, you must actively turn it off because they will turn on renewal by default, unlike other companies like namecheap, if you want to renew, you must actively activate it.

Update: They replied to me that they sent a reminder email 30 days in advance, I checked again and the email was titled: "Are you ready to spend another year with YITH?", it looks like a promotional email that they send hundreds of emails every year and there is no renewal reminder keyword in the subject. By the way, after reviewing their email, you can see the problem is that they are spamming people's inboxes everyday.

YITH WooCommerce Role Based Prices is great

I have used the free Yith Request a Quote plugin on one of my sites for a about year and needed a plugin on another site that provided role based pricing that not only worked as described, but did not wreck the rest of the site by adding a bunch of extra code into places I could not find. The plugin YITH WooCommerce Role Based Prices delivered, in spades!

No Warning of Upcoming Renewal Charges

We used their products for years and given them a ton of money for using their products. We stopped using them in December due to a switch in systems and then got a notice of a bank charge without a warning email about the upcoming renewal. I reached out to them that day of charge. Their response?

"we clearly state that product renewals are not covered, so, unfortunately, we cannot accept your request, I'm really sorry about that."

I never saw any email about upcoming renewals as they claim and I guess giving them years worth of subscription dues doesn't mean jack to them. I will be disputing with my bank.

Considering that in addition to the email, the information concerning the subscription is also available in the terms and conditions on our site and accepted at the time of purchase, and that the plugin is still in use, we are not in a position to make exceptions to our refund policy, also out of respect for other customers who have been denied for the same reasons.

Awesome Support

I've used a couple of Yith's Woocommerce products now with the latest being their "WooCommerce Product Add-Ons & Extra Options". I have just begun to scratch the surface of the features offered with this plugin. The setup process is very straight foward and logical and the documentation is pretty comprehensive. Yith's support has been over the top helpful and incredibly responsive. If you need to add more features to your Woocommerce store, I highly recommend Yith. Great products, great support and great pricing. It dosn't get any better than that.

Support are very unresponsive and slow…

Support are very unresponsive and slow ref. fixing bugs and errors in the plugin causing Elementor layout issues.

Making a support ticket they reply very fast, but probably some AI... then to reply again and fix it... I waited 5 days now, no reply.. While our sites looks like shit unless we deactivate their plugin. Then you can write their chat support, but those people can only answer pre-purchase questions and just tell you to wait... no ETA, just wait... Wait for what, for how long? How many days are going to be between each reply? Will we have this bug for months or what's going on here?
I had the idea they had good support, but very disappointed. Elementor checked the issue straight away and found YITH plugin to cause the issue, now just waiting for unknown time ....

Update: They fixed the issue quickly after the review.

This is the WORST company I have ever…

Update (2025-1-18)
Since signing up, the terms and conditions have changed multiple times. During this period, I experienced significant personal and professional changes, including a layoff, relocation, and a switch in hosting providers. These circumstances likely caused me to miss renewal emails, which I had previously informed YITH about.

The dispute has been resolved, and Bluevine allowed the withdrawal of funds from my account. Is the account still suspended? If payment was taken without delivering the product, it reflects poorly on YITH’s integrity.

Regardless, I have no intention of continuing business with YITH.

This is the WORST company and crapy plugin I have ever used.
This YITH STOLE $129.99 from my bank account and then suspended plugin. This is a fraudulent company and I do not recommend.
My account renewed without my authorization and the company refused cancel or to refund.

Our plugins are sold on a subscription basis, as specified in the terms and conditions accepted at the time of purchase. Our customers can cancel their subscriptions at any time before the renewal date. We also send a reminder 30 days before that date. Unfortunately, the plugin still results in being up-to-date and in use, so we were unable to make any exceptions to our refund policy that excludes renewal orders.

The plugin's license is currently suspended due to the open dispute over the renewal payment which has blocked the related charge.

Worst customer service who responds once a month, buggy plugins and high prices.
ON TOP OF THAT THEY ARE NOT GIVING REFUNDS FOR BUGGY PLUGINS.

DO NOT BUY ANY PLUGIN! THEY DO NOT WORK AND WILL BREAK YOUR SITE.

Really poor experience with YITH

Really poor experience with YITH, was an update to Stripe which 'they were not aware of' and led to one of our customers being charged multiple times and a fraud case being opened against us. YITH were not very concerned with helping but just with shifting blame and ensuring that it was clear that it wasn't their responsibility. Honestly felt that YITH didn't care about small business, and it's super alarming that they are not aware of updates to Stripe when they boast of being 'the world's leading independent company in the development of WooCommerce plugins'. Sadly we have to recommend to steer clear

As for that specific Stripe update, it was released with an unsuitable timeline to be able to adapt our plugin to the changes made, which we still did with high priority in the following days.
By the time you encountered the issue, we had already released the fix in some updates of our plugin. We, therefore, take this opportunity to point out again what we have already communicated in the ticket, and that is the importance of checking the available updates, especially for integrations with external plugins, so that you can install them and avoid issues that sometimes, as in this case, can lead to very unpleasant situations.

Finally threw in with YITH for multiple plugins

Finally threw in with YITH. After years of seeing their plugins all around the WP world it was time to give them a try after multiple failed plugins with other devs. We've implemented their Category Accordion, Ajax Search, Brands add-on and likely soon their Quote solution.

Sales support into tech support have been great and we hope for years of trouble-free, non-conflicting plugin use!
