Terrible dishonest service

What a terrrible, dishonest service. Automatic $245 annual renewal, tried to cancel within 48 hours of noticing the charge and they would not refund anything, not even if I paid for the first month. Avoid avoid avoid!

Yoga glo will surely make you bend over

They are what other reviewers said they are. Thieves. But my robbery experience included a little shit for a customer service rep who was equal parts belittling annoying and obnoxious. I am boycotting any instructor who has anything to do with these criminals as well. NAMASTE yoga glo the light in me hopes the light in you is extinguished.

Glo charged you and refuses refund?

Were you charged by Glo and you're based in Europe? You have right to a 14 days withdrawal, no questions asked. They are obliged to refund you because EU has very strict consumer protection laws and if Glo.com is bound by them. Run your case through ChatGPT if you don't believe me ;) I hope this helps!

You guys in the US - I'm sure California has some consumer protection organisations who could help you too.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE! I should have known!!! These yogini are out for your money with no heart whatsoever! Last year they were billing me twice every month on the same card and i became aware of the situatioin after 3/4 months and they refused to reimburse me. Then this year, i forgot to cancel…my fault ..but with in 20 Hours i tried to ask them to cancel it but they would not. I get it, there are contracts BUT what angers me is that this happened to me with another famous yoga site and they immediately canceled with no problems! Yogaglo didnt even offer a small discount. I should have known that this site was purely after money when they pulled that ridiculous stunt of trying to copyright their way of filming their classes..even the teachers protested..many leaving this site. There are so Many yoga sites out there so i advise CHOOSE another that has heart!!!!!

If I could give negative stars I would!

If I could give negative stars, I would. Contacted them 2 days after money was taken out of my bank account. They insist an email was sent with a notice of renewal - email was not received, and they could not provide any evidence or proof that it was. Point blank refuse to refund me. The worst customer service I have ever, ever encountered. For a company that should be about mindfulness, my dealings with them have been anything but.

Profit over People

After a stressful week of inauguration crap and teaching I neglected to recall the day I needed to end my 7 day trial. I woke to a loss of $245 in my checking account. There is no number to call and all emails are Bot responders. This company puts profit over people. STAY AWAY!

BE CAREFUL. glo.com and yogaglo.com are PREDATORY

STAY AWAY (or be VERY careful)! glo.com and yogaglo.com are Predatory! As a yoga business you'd think they are a compassionate company that cares about people and customer service but turns out they are the opposite. I'm so sad to learn this about a company I thought was decent. :(

Thought I canceled (several years ago) but saw the bill on my credit card for $245 and immediately reached out. (I would never have signed up for something that expensive but think it was a "special" offer I cancelled but the cancelation "didn't go through").

They refuse to refund anything!
I haven't used it in years. I reached out the day after the payment was processed.

What's worse, it's a digital product. They've lost nothing in refunding my money. Seems so terribly shady.

If you cancel be sure to make a record of that for YOUR files, triple check that you successfully canceled your plan & remove your Credit Card WELL before the plan renews... or better yet: Choose a company with a moral compass that actually cares about people and their well being.

Stuck with a bill that you think is unjust? Definitely contest the bill with your credit card company ASAP.

This company steals from you--find a better one.

This company will steal from you. They will not warn you about your subscription before it is about to be charged, so if for whatever reason (in my case a change in my ability to exercise due to health) you will not remember your subscription and you will be charged for NOTHING. $245 they have stolen from me, and I will say the app is difficult to use and the instructors don't seem to be very good. I would absolutely try another service were I you.

This app is a scam

This app is a scam. I did one workout on the free and did not realise they were taking money from me for four years!! They refuse to refund any money at all and have not sent any reminders for renewing subscription or upping the price of the subscription. They've had a fortune off me for absolutely nothing. Scam!

Predatory billing practices. It's too bad because I actually liked…

It's too bad because I actually liked the service and I thought the teachers were great. However, like most people on this site, the company really cheated me by somehow cutting off my access to the service and simultaneously charging me $30/month. They came up with every excuse in the book not to refund my money, made me dig up emails (which proved my claim) and even semi-apologized for the confusion. But they still refused to refund. If you think about it, a no refund policy is a great way to keep making money with no responsibility for providing the service. Very disheartening.

I used to enjoy YogaGlo before its rebranding to Glo. However, the platform has now become overpriced, poorly structured, and limited for advanced students. The daily recommendations lack personalization and are unhelpful. Unfortunately, the generic responses to feedback do not effectively address concerns. While the platform boasts great teachers, its management leaves much to be desired. Not recommended.

Scammy Billing Methods, double charging, over priced

This app is very scammy and unclear about billing. I was gifted a $90 voucher that is supposed to cover 3 months. This is the only reason I signed up to this app. I never gave my bank details... Now the app is direct debiting me £30 a month via Apple, PLUS it is still deducting $30 from my voucher each month. So I am effectively paying double for an app that I am only using because I was gifted a voucher.

As it seemed very scammy and unclear from the outset I had emailed customer support to confirm that I would not be billed when the free trial was over. They assured me I would not be billed and that my voucher credit would instead be used. This is not the case and now here I am paying almost £60 a month for an app, for perspective that is 3x the amount I pay for my cellphone contract. It is double what I pay for uncapped Wi-Fi for the house.

This service is incredibly over priced, there are no positive reviews. All seem to say the same: they feel scammed. Weird for a company that preaches the merits health and well-being to have such unethical pricing and billing methods.

Avoid.

I attempted to cancel within 7 days multiple times but the attempts did not click through. Now I’ve been charged $190 dollars. This is a total scam and rip off and I’m very upset. I am not giving up. Avoid this company.

They have deceptive marketing

They have deceptive marketing. They advertised a discount on a year's subscription but never said the price. They embedded a link to see the amount but when I clicked it I was automatically charged for a year's subscription. Conveniently they have an absolute no refunds policy. I tried several times to let them know I had clicked the link while at a red light to see what the discounted price was and did not see the small sentence that said I would be charged. It looked like normal copy writing and did not stand out. They did not care they just say 'per our terms and conditions'. People make mistakes and now I have a year's subscription that I will never use. $150 wasted.
