Yoikoto | The Home of Electric Transport E-Bikes | E-Mopeds | E-Scooters | Electric Bikes | Electric Mopeds | Electric Scooters. With the government cracking down on the use of petrol and diesel vehicles, these are soon to be a thing of the past. Here at YOIKOTO, we believe light electric transport is the way forward, for a fast and clean method of transport. While electric cars are still unaffordable for the majority of us, our vehicles offer an affordable solution, both in the long and short term. We aim to offer products for those without a high budget, but still wanting the best in quality and service. The cost of charging an electric moped is, on average, less than 1p per mile.

Tried to contact the company twice about faults with the bike and also to ask for advice on spares etc. still awaiting reply and am considering returning it. Although they protest that they did reply to me.........it wasn't until I got on here. The tone is also annoyed and I helpful. Yes I bought from a different stockist. It IS yoikoto bike that is falling apart and it is this that they don't seem very helpful with.....spare batteries advice is fine then online we don't sell them. As for the broken part I asked for, no reply to that bit of the email.
If they keep insisting I'm being dishonest about this they can have screenshot of the emails they already have

The electrics failed after 700 miles on my Yoikoto Yoizen rendering it useless. I've owned bikes all of my adult life and this is the first one to become unusable after just 700 miles, two months out of warranty. To put this into context the tyres have lasted longer than the electrics!

i bought a kristall e300 a couple of years back, done over 2000 miles now and just as good as the day i bought it. thanks
Really well designed ebike, Yoikoto G2 in black and yellow., purchased one from their ebay store with a great discount, the frame is a nice style unlike some ebikes, it looks like a decent mountain bike with the battery incorporated into the downtube. Mostly Shimano parts brakes/gears etc the electronics are easy to use and work well, pedal assist kicks in after a turn of the pedals, it's limited to 15.5 mph as is necessary and has 5 power levels. The forks are a "no name" brand but work OK for me
The saddle is well designed and comfortable with a comfort groove. Took me a while to workout how to turn the lights on (press and hold the "up" button) on the display unit, speed and power level are displayed and there is a millimeter.
Overall a really good ebike that looks good, works well and was under half the price of major brands.
I went for the red E-temp, and so far it's everything I could have hoped for. 54 y/o chap who's done a fair bit of mountain biking in my time, and needed to get back in the saddle. This bike for the price is fantastic, looks great, goes well, and makes you look like a much fitter rider. Got if from Yoikoto on ebay for like £400 less than RRP makes it even better.
The bike i brought a year ago is very different from the bike i have now. If i knew now what the bike was going to be like i would never have brought it.
1 They dont specify weight load on the website. Only after 6 months did i realise i was over the expected weight load for this bike.
2 The brakes were substandard for this bike. Yes they did replace them but i have no end off trouble since. I have since converted to hydraulic brakes.
3 The rear wheel and spokes are substandard and not made to either carry my weight nor the motor ensconced in it. I have gone through nearly a rear wheels worth of spokes trying to get it right.
4 And the gears and derrialuer are off a substandard quality. My derailleur has broken twice only to be told by 'customer services' it was wear and tear.
5 Dont buy a bike from them unless you have seen it in person and in the shop.
The only 2 things of quality about the bike are the box it came in and the bike cover.
Response from customer services is as expected. Poor grammar and always blaming the cyclist and not the bicycle.
I wont be buying anything from you again as the aftercare service is terrible

I found this company very easy to deal with. Bike ordered one day and received the next. Great aftercare, always available for any questions I had. 10/10
I don't normally write reviews but these guys deserve 6 stars!
Recently purchased a Yoikoto Yoizen. Excellent staff, great bike and the right price. I would recommend!
Well well well this company av no manners what's so ever bough yoikoto Andes bike outright for £900 pounds told me bike takes loading weight of 20stone (127kilos) when received says in manual 90kgs (14-2 stone) big difference at to lose over half stone b4 could ride it.Also second issue noticed that grommet is half hanging out which is meant to keep wire safe from connecting to sharper metal been emailing and ringing company and mainly speaking to employee an absolute night mare and most horriblest and rude person I av ever spoken to.Also 3rd issue the crank on bike keeps clicking this as started doing this when only done 25km and when put into pedal assist 5 motor on back wheel gets alot louder told employee about this and just says pedals might be on wrong way round or its the gears this is not the case and bike is on a 2000mile or 12 month warranty which ever comes 1st I don't know why he why take back and sort problem out.Ti me this company takes your money and basically if any problems they don't like to sort out and as for customer service it's the worst I av ever ever experienced to any body reading this message AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID 🕵️🕵️🕵️🕵️🕵️🕵️🕵️👌🕵️😠😠😠😠😠😠😠👎👎👎👎👎👎👎.I and now going to citizens advice to seek legal help and take them to court as well I bought this bike on trying to get my knee better as trouble walking and waiting for knee replacement also my friends are say let's go there in the van take bike back and let them see for themselves but truly honestly this company is awfulneed too get some manners.

This was a nightmare start to finish .I paid for the bike outright it took three days to come it says over night .The bike turned up it had done 63 km then had a bad click when you pedaled as this was off a new bike I had to get my neighbour to wait in for it and took to days for collection .I then had to email them every day about.my refund when they said they had sent it in the end they sent they fast payment to me even though they said they had sent which was another lie in my experience I would avoid this shop as my bike broke straight away they lied about refund saying it was done and would take five days when they had not processed it at all and ended up doing a fast payment .I stand by my word the bike was faulty and clicked when you pedaled never mind it was fine and was found not to be faulty watch the video shows is a complete lie these bikes are made of cheap parts example clicking when you pedal the forks shows signs of mist of oil which had to be be wiped and that bike was faulty and have the
videos to show just more lies from this company but if you buy from them it will be at your own risk

Cheap kit bike, poorly constructed. I'd made allowances for "cosmetic" damage caused by staff building the bike but this should have been the first red flag.
I'm disabled so don't ride very much. I used the bike twice before the electric part failed. I took the bike back to the store and spoke to the staff member there. He called the manager who informed me that it would cost £25 to repair. He said he has been in the business for 100 (!) years and he knows that I dropped the bike - I guarantee you, when I am paying this much money for a bike, I'm going to be taking the utmost care of it. Had the bike been dropped, there would have been damage to the handlebar grips but there was no such damage.
I spoke with several eBike experts who assured me that the bike was cheap and poorly made and that sensor failures were common.
The manager of the store spoke to me in a manner I wouldn't speak to my worst enemy in. Customer service was nonexistent.
Eventually, the manager told me to take the bike without paying for the repair but to not bother coming back again. It was at this point I decided I no longer wished to be a customer here.
After much arguing, I eventually got a refund.
I would shop literally anywhere else!
For the record, they only offered to fix it for free AFTER speaking to me like a piece of sh!t and I was NOT happy with the outcome. I didn't even take the bike after that. Giving me a refund doesn't change the sh!tty customer service I received.

Just bought the Yoikoto City and I love it. It rides like a normal bike without peddle assist unlike my first ebike. Its a very smooth ride with and without power and it's a real pleasure to ride. Stewart is amazing, answered all my questions and there was no pressure to buy. Awesome bikes.
