Having a look at your case, our agent did manage it properly. When a check comes back as 'UNPERFORMABLE' you need to either start again or re do the check.

Allowing you to do the check again is not Yoti's responsibility, it relies on your employer/screening company. They should send you a new link for you to start over. Which is what our agent advised you to do.

Yoti is a crap.With the same id which was fine in the last years now i failed the id check six times in a row.And they still keep pretending they are fine.Such a disgrace!

I tried to book appointments several times for weeks and couldn’t get any times or told different times it’s not very well managed, the guy who eventually helped me regain access to my account was great and it took 10 minutes but it shouldn’t be this hard when websites use Yoti for the only available age verifier and when the appointments are so sparse

Absolute shit

Absolute shit. Doesn’t work at all. Constantly hangs. “Something went wrong” etc. That Microsoft have outsourced such an important function to his bullshit offering beggars belief.

Surely it says something when your average score is 2.1 out of 5. I certainly wouldn't purchase from anyone that has this low a score. Like so many others my experience has been negative and time wasting with a useless chat bot.

To put things into perspective, the app has surpassed 20 million downloads to date. During Q4 2025, Yoti was installed over 1.7 million times. In that same period, we received roughly 11,000 negative reviews across both the App Store and Google Play Store combined. This means negative feedback accounts for only 0.6% of total installs.

While we’re always striving to improve and reduce friction for every user, these metrics suggest that the vast majority of our community is successfully using their Digital ID to navigate the world safely.

Nightmare

Useless, frustrating, a waste of time.
I´ve wasted too much time trying to use this app to waste it now explaining the whole ordeal I´ve been for days, while trying to use it.
Combined with the service of My Gov Scot (My account -it doesn´t allow me to include the link-), it is just appalling. I entered in a loop with the two of them trying to create an account to book online on the NHS.

As per advise from our Support team, we cannot send invites to for screening/document checks. That part of the process relies with the organisation/employer that has asked you to conduct the check.

Please, as our team advised you before, reach out to your organisation/employer and ask them for a fresh new link. They should be able to provide you with one.

The function is beyond absolutely useless

The function is well beyond absolutely useless, how typical of the worst government in the UK's history to choose Yoti as their default ID identifier. The App keeps throwing you back to a stage you thought you'd already safely negotiated. Can't help feeling it's been designed that way, zero public testing, designed by techies, unusable by anybody else.

Unable to access Yoti account after registration…

Registered and then could not gain access to Yoti after using it. Don't have the time to keep on trying to access my Toti account. Super frustrated. Then asked the help desk to cancel a request for ID that I sent a client who had opted not to proceed (but I had instructed Yoti to send a reminder every 6 hours and the help desk could not accommodate that request. Please just close my account and then I will start from scratch with a new registration.

I’m sorry for the frustration. Because we don't have direct access to your account for security reasons, we can't manually cancel requests or delete profiles on your behalf.

We have sent an email with a step-by-step guide to help you:

- Regain access via the Yoti app or reset your MFA.
- Stop reminders by deleting the specific session in your Identity Portal.
- Start fresh by following the instructions to delete and recreate your account.
