OUR STORY You & Me was born out of care for our daughter and sister Sophie and the needs that she has as an adult wanting to live her own life. The options available to her were not what she needed or wanted. We decided to create something that would help meet hers and others needs and wishes. You & Me now has multiple homes where housemates are enabled to become more independent every day. OUR APPROACH Our approach is to safeguard housemates inside their homes and within their community. This is achieved through individual safe caring plans and safeguarding procedures. We promote independence by encouraging and facilitating housemates to establish a weekly plan of activities to help them to develop new skills, confidence and achievements. We are committed to enabling people to access their community and participate in leisure, recreational and developmental activities wherever possible.
