Poor online shopping experience
I ordered a Meguiars product (shown as "in-stock") online early last week for click and collect from Swanwick and then was informed by email "sorry, you may have forgotten something". I checked that my payment had been taken - it had. I confirmed this with the call centre - they confirmed the payment receipt, but that the order had been lost and they would now rectify it. Next day I went into the Swanwick store to collect, and they could not find record of the order. I was politely told they would sort it with HQ. A couple of days later I was emailed informing me the order was now "pending". I'm still waiting for news....
Not great from a company I have used a lot in the past face to face - this was my first online attempt. Think your e-shopping experience leaves a lot to be desired. George

Misleading and time consuming
I did an order for rope and selected click and collect for the next day. I phoned the store on the Saturday and they had no knowledge of my order nor anyway to look an online order. I was advised earliest collection date was likely to be Tuesday.
I received an email to say the order was finally ready on Wednesday.
I went to the Swanwick store to collect the order and 2 lengths of rope had not been cut, the order was NOT ready!
Very unimpressed with the service and unlikely to use you boat again, especially as I have applied for a trade account in the past and did not receive a response.

Battery change on a PLB
Battery change on a PLB. All good, swift turnaround. Only gripe would be the high cost of changing the battery. £120 did seem a bit high. But that did include testing and how much is a life worth I suppose.

Excellent Customer Service,my mistake easily corrected.
Ordered,on e-bay, a Multiflex boat steering system it arrived 2 days later. Three weeks after receipt, on starting to fit the system I discovered I had miscalculated and underestimated the length of cable required. A quick phone call to, a nice lady on, the helpline to explain my predicament, resulted in a return phone call an hour later from an equally nice and very helpful gentleman. The end result, at my request, the cable will be exchanged next week in the Lymington shop. Put simply an Excellent Customer Service and Experience
