Job well done by Joshua

Joshua has cleaned my windows on a number of occasions and has always done a thorough job.
I am always informed about the date my windows will be cleaned on and I also receive a reminder about leaving the gate open so that he can access the back of the property.
The windows are always cleaned on the day arranged, the payment request follows and I make the payment with my phone, a receipt of payment is forwarded, job done and it all goes really smoothly. No messing about or changing of arrangements...which is a rare quality these days!

Dishonest, unreliable, and stressful

​I signed up for their services but immediately became suspicious when, after entering my card details, I couldn't actually create an online account. This account was supposedly meant to give me a full view of my upcoming cleans, allow me to add notes, and let me change clean frequencies. The representative who set everything up for me rang their office, and I was told someone would send over an account reset link so I could log in. Unsurprisingly, that link never arrived.
​I called them back to explain that I still couldn't access the account and requested to postpone my first clean, which was scheduled for the following week. Because I couldn't log in to update this myself, they claimed they were having "system issues." They promised to put a note on my account to push the first clean back by two weeks, telling me to just "give them a ring" if anything changed.
​After thinking it over, I decided to cancel. I simply do not have the time or patience to ring a company every single time I need to reschedule a clean because their online portal doesn't work. Furthermore, after reading other reviews on here, I started seriously worrying about them having my card details. I read horror stories about people being charged for full cleans when their back gardens were locked, and then struggling to get a refund—which seems to be a recurring theme for this business.
​I decided to fully cancel the service and sent a formal cancellation email—no acknowledgment.
I then rang them directly to cancel. They said it was fine and promised a confirmation email—again, absolutely nothing arrived.
​I trust this company so little now that I have actually gone to the length of cancelling my bank card to ensure they cannot take any unauthorized money from my account.
​This has been a very poor and incredibly stressful experience. I have since managed to find a local window cleaner who is cheaper, has great communication, and is far more reliable. Do not sign up with this company—it is absolutely not worth the stress!

5 star service

Fab window clean from Joshua today, I really appreciated the phone call about an hour in advance to let me know of his arrival as I have to allow access through a gate into the back of the property.

I always receive a thorough and friendly service from Your Local, always receive a text the day before, and it has been super easy to rearrange one date that no one was around to allow access into the back.

Dean bates from north east commercial…

Dean bates from north east commercial team attended sainsbury's monument metro station, always cheerful and arrives in great spirit. Does a great job, always leaves everything clean and tidy after himself. Communicates well with the store with what he is doing and if needs anything. Great guy that does a great service!!

This company keeps phoning saying we owe money for window cleaning, they were paid at the time of the cleaning, due to this we have told them we no longer want the windows cleaning but you keep ringing saying we have not paid.

Turned up once never been back since!

Guy knocked on the door asked if I wanted to sign up thought brilliant just what I needed, saved me a job of looking! Signed up, someone came and never been back since. Was suppose to arrive 30th April, never did. Then again 14th May, never did!

Very Disappointing Service

I honestly don’t recommend Your Local at all. They cleaned the windows in like one minute and left. No ladder, no proper cleaning products, they just used high-pressure water. Our windows ended up dirtier than before. Also, the account they created for us doesn’t even work — we can’t log in at all.
