Shameful and to know before booking a warehouse
I wrote a review a few months ago, but the situation is getting so crazy that I have to write one again.
It's been over a year since my partner's belongings were stolen in a Storebox warehouse in Vienna. Everyone acknowledged the highly damaging prejudice (police report, photos, etc...). But in addition to the traumatic nature of the experience, Storebox has been refusing to honour the insurance he had taken out, claiming that the insurance company doesn't respond to them.
My partner contacted the insurance company a few months ago. Their response was that the safety deficiencies in the premises were such that Storebox had to pay.
The - rare - emails that Storebox deigns to send us since then are to 'apologise' for the delay and to blame the insurance company for their delays.
I tried to contact the company's management. After some cordial exchanges, no further news.
This company is a shameful joke. How can it take more than a year to take responsibility?
The only question now is: should we get a lawyer? It's not so easy if you're not Austrian and are living in another country. And maybe that's what Storebox is counting on: that we give up, in order to have 0 to pay. Storebox's business practices are disgraceful and must be reported.
I received a wrong code!!! Unreliable service!! Worst experience
I received a wrong code!!!! I took all my luggage and boxes and hired movers and van to transport my stuff!!! And then the code you gave me to open my cabin is not working!!! All my stuff is now standing in front of my cabin door since 2 days!!! Customer service number does not answer, and the only time they answered they said there’s nothing they can do because it’s the weekend!!! Worst experience ever

This is the best service I have ever had in Germany so far. Everything is easy to understand, no paperwork nightmare. And this is exactly what I need (storage either sufficient space that I can access any time without contacting people and making appointments). Thank you for your great job 👏🏻

Good start but
The Storebox locations are excellent but the customer service (in Vienna) is mostly non-existent. The contract notice period for cancellation is punitive. It should be a maximum of 30 days and not binding to a 12 month period. I chased an overpayment for 5 months, and it still wasn't resolved after the Customer Success Manager insisted on having an IBAN for a bank account, and wouldn't use a BIC/SWIFT code to generate the refund. A shame

It took way too long to upgrade to a bigger unit. It took a month to get this completed, they ignored a couple of emails. Never could get a person from Store Box on the phone, I only got their answering service. Actual units and access are great, customer service stinks.

Worst service and experience I had with this company, had to open a new storage to be able to get in touch with customer service, it’s being 6 month and still can’t access my old place which was vandalized and no one help us to resolve this matter, just want to open my old space and remove my items, we have being robbed and can’t talk to someone that able to help us. More than 10 emails, more than 20 calls and still no one help us,

Waiting on refund. No response
I booked a storage but had to cancel because I wanted a different one. I still haven’t received a refund. I asked them but they don’t respond and it’s been almost a month since I canceled.
Edit: I literally responded with my booking number as requested and now they say they can’t find me. Also I already messaged via that email and haven’t gotten a reply in over a week

We are strongly disappointed with StoreBox service and poor reaction of their call center to our critical issue.
A week ago we have booked the room at HofKamp in Wuppertal, and already prepaid it, but couldn’t reach it due to homeless lady who was laying next to our box and was screaming at us, asking to leave. On the top, she spoiled the electrokasten so there were no electricity there.
We called to your service, and they said that they the problem will be processed. But 1.5 hours left and NOTHING WAS SOLVED.
Due to this fact the whole delivery process was corrupted. We were looking for different storage place ad-hock (300kg of goods) and also were forced to pay additional costs to delivery service for extra waiting time.
4 days past and there us no reimbursement done yet. Still waiting for the reply from super slow customer service.

Extremely disappointed with Storebox. I requested to terminate my contract, but they were uncooperative and unwilling to assist. Instead of addressing my concerns, they just keep sending notices without any real support. Poor customer service and lack of flexibility. Would not recommend!

Perfect fast responsive.
I had to order new space because old space was too small so i had cancelled the small place and got the bigger place in 15 minutes . No extra charge. Perfect customer experience.

Customer service does not respond to anything. Ever. I have been sending requests and asking for support for over two weeks now and no one has replied back to me. I can't even pay my balance because I need their support and no one will respond to me. Now they send me some notice they are going to auction my stuff because I can't pay the amount because their website is giving me issues. This is ridiculous.

absolute nightmare
I have now been a client at storebox for one month. I have not had 3 consecutive days where I could access the storebox without customer support. I can therefore only access the storebox between 8 am -10 pm.
Over the past month there have been floodings, break ins and constant technical issues, which is why we can not access the storebox at all times. I was promised 24/7 access, which is what I am also paying for, but am only able to access the storebox between 8am-10pm. Twice, they were not able to let me in due to issues which has harmed my business financially.
The client support is awful, I emailed 3 weeks ago the person that I signed with to help me and have to this day not received a call or message back. I also tried calling him but no response. Additionally, I messaged client support last week, 5 days later still no response.
My business has really suffered as we are not able to fulfil orders on time. The past two weeks it was 34 degrees in Vienna and I had to wait for 15 Minutes each day in the heat until I was buzzed in as passcodes didn't work due to technical issues.
