Despite being technically acceptable as a publishing platform, Yumpu is run by a very unreliable company. I purchased the ePaper adFREE subscription, but different ads appeared around my publications anyway. They justified themselves by saying that the ads don't appear inside the pages of my flipbooks, but that's a very misleading product name. And even though I have always been ready to modify my brochures to meet their standards, they never provided me with specific details. The way the staff ignored my support requests, lately, make me think they have zero respect for their customers.

Yumpu insists on keeping a $239.40 payment when I requested a refund after missing their trial.period cut off by 5 minutes. I have escalated the dispute at PayPal. Here is the message I wrote to yumpu after they denied my request. "This is an unacceptable response. No other reasonable service provider would deny a request for a refund under the circumstances. This is a lot of money to charge somebody for a service they dont use and do not want. I tried one small component and forgot to cancel so now you are hanging me on a technicality. As soon as I saw the charge I cancelled but now you insist on keeping my payment. That's abusive so I am escalating with paypal. If you sent a warning email, it must have gone into my SPAM folder. If I had seen it in my inbox, I would have cancelled immediately. You are why people don't trust internet providers. People will learn from me on every social channel about your abuse if you fail to reverse the charge. It will cost you new customers you will never know about.

This site was easy to use, clear and understandable, easy to load my book, the book looks very clear and large enough to see the pages well. I like it so far, it is my first month.

I love this platform. Cause I can publish my resources and share them with audience. It's really convenient and open.

Yumpu makes reading a boring PDF a lot more interactive. It brings your document to life and helps overcome barriers that some older readers have with a magazine presented as a webpage style. They can see it is a magazine because it looks like a magazine.

Awful! We did not sign up for the premium plan and cancelled the free service immediately. Our account says cancelled. Yet they still bill you and do not refund you even though it was their mistake! DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY! I will be filing a dispute with the credit card company but they are absolutely no help and do not care about you whatsoever. Complete dishonest and deceiving company.

Read the things with small writing. They just ripped me off for 300 dollars for signing up on their website and despite messaging them back that I never agreed to that and that their services are unusable and asking if they could refund just a little bit of it, because I’d never sign up for a year on anything, they were ice cold. So don’t sign up for any of their unusable services. Now I have no money for food for my children this month. They’ll rip you off, so stay away from this site.

Yumpu is selling your email adress so that you will get an annoying wave of advertisers.

The possibility to share old magazines and documents. And for me to find old history that is interesting and concerns my surroundings.

Worst site ever visited accepted it's interference in my fb account signed up using email and at last it showed up with only cover page of the book I wanted to read.

It is so easy to upload the work, automatically gets indexed by Google, more visibility

it's so easy!!! This is where you can upload your Publishing. In my case I have very few books, so this free option is great.

Easy to obtain a PDF. After logging in, the document was download with no problems. Good Job.

I signed up to be able to get a PDF download. Once I was signed up ALL I could access was free magazines that had NOTHING to do with the research I am doing for my Master's level nursing health policy course.
What a waste of time!

Very easy and intuitive interface, direct and to the point. Although ads run on the free plan, it doesn't feel restricted or otherwise scaled down than the paid plans.
