DO NOT ORDER FROM ZACHYs

DO NOT ORDER FROM ZACHYs. Horrible customer service. I placed a $4k order on Dec 8 and have called and followed up multiple times. They lied a week ago and said the order had shipped. Well today they said the order is still sitting there and won't make christmas. RIDICULOUS. I believe they lied about the original shipment and they are frauds.

Sent damaged bottle and claimed that is fine

I purchased a case of wine from Zachys and one of the bottles came with the cap damaged. There was no sign it had been damaged during shipping. It must have been sent that way. When I raised this with customer service, they offered no remedy. Zachys sends damaged bottles, and won’t stand by their product. Don’t buy from them.

Disappointing experience and poor customer service

I ordered a special birthday gift from Zachys - a bottle specifically listed with a branded gift box - but it arrived without it, poorly wrapped instead. Despite multiple emails, their solutions were impractical (like asking the recipient to return the gift!). The experience was frustrating, and the customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. Would not order again.

Zachys Wine and Liquor Deceptive Business Practices

Zachys Wine and Liquor attempted to charge me for both shipping and NY State tax on an out of state order after sending me a receipt that stated the shipping charge was $0.00. Be wary of placing any online orders with Zachys, they're system is set up to charge the NY State tax rate regardless of the state you leave in.
