Support team feels genuine

I opened a ticket and got a human reply in less than an hour. The agent didn’t sound robotic or scripted at all. They even followed up later to check if everything was still okay. That’s the kind of small detail that builds trust. Rare these days really.

Very impressed with analytics

The stats and dashboards help us see where our calls come from and how long they last. It’s surprisingly detailed for such an affordable product. Helps me optimize my sales team’s time. The graphs aren’t fancy but they’re accurate. Honestly I use them more than I thought I would.

Works fine with our existing SIP phones

We didn’t need to replace our old desk phones Zadarma just connected to them. That saved us a lot of time and money. The documentation is clear even for non-technical people. Calls are stable and voice is crystal clear. Couldn’t ask for more from a VoIP provider.

Great for multilingual support

We serve customers in both English and French and setting up separate IVR greetings was easy. It feels polished and adds credibility to our brand. The call routing options are detailed but logical. Our clients noticed the improvement right away. Big thumbs up for international usability.

Zadarma just works

I have been using Zadarma for a few years now. It is connected to my private asterisk server as a PSTN trunk with a local number. No problems or issues since then. Everything just works silently. Godd that the outgoing calls have correct CallerID in Europe. (I had a problem with another sip provider, broken CallerID after new regulations). Thanks, Zadarma (not an ad, real thanks)

Perfect for freelancers

I’m a freelance consultant and needed a business number that feels professional. Zadarma gave me that flexibility instantly. I don’t want complex IT setups just plug and play. I can record calls forward them and everything syncs nicely. It makes me look bigger than I am which is great for clients.

Decent app room for small improvements

The app runs well and notifications are instant. Sometimes the settings page lags but that’s minor. I like being able to handle all my work calls on the go. It’s perfect when I’m travelling or working from cafes. Would love dark mode though it’s a bit bright at night

Saved us from expensive phone bills

We were paying ridiculous amounts for international calls before switching. Zadarma cut our monthly cost almost in half. The quality didn’t drop at all if anything it got better. Our finance team was shocked when they saw the difference. Wish we had moved earlier.

Makes international hiring easier

Our company hires freelancers in different countries and this tool made communication so easy. Everyone has their own extension no matter where they are. The calls feel local to the client which helps with trust. Sometimes there’s a slight delay but nothing serious. It simplified our whole workflow.

Surprising quality for such low price

I wasn’t expecting much when I saw the subscription cost but Zadarma surprised me big time. The interface looks simple yet hides a ton of smart options. You can tell they’ve thought about what small businesses need. It’s fast efficient and doesn’t overcharge. Hard to find something better in that range.

Consistent improvement over time

I’ve been using Zadarma for more than a year and they keep adding useful updates. The interface became smoother and connection stability improved. Multi-language IVR is underrated

Our business operates in two languages and setting up separate greetings was incredibly simple. The IVR feels professional and custoners reach the right department easily. It added a level of polish that makes our company look bigger than it really is. I didn’t expect such advanced options for the price. It’s an impressive feature set.

Great first impression

I only started using Zadarma two weeks ago and it already feels familiar. The onboarding emails were clear not spammy. Everything connected perfectly with my existing setup. There’s still a lot to explore but I can already see why so many reviews are positive. I’ll definitely keep it after the trial.

Call recording is a real game changer

As a manager I use call recordings for training new employees. It’s easy to find and play them back later. The sound quality is very clear which helps identify communication mistakes. Plus storage in the cloud means I don’t worry about losing files. That feature alone is worth the price.

Incompetent Support & Nonsense Requirements.

So this their service was being promoted as a possibility to have a virtual number in a Ukraine, while you YOU DON'T LIVE THERE. That way you can transfer sms to your email.

After you register, they start asking all sort of ridiculous documentation without explaining why. When you ask why, they respond with a generic canned response.

I sent the following:
- Canadian mobile bill to prove address in Canada
- Full Ukrainian government ID (somehow you need be Ukrainian and have an address in Ukraine for the service, never explained)
- A official electricity bill to prove address in Ukraine (my wife has an apartment in Ukraine). That bill is sent every month by the building management team , it contains full name, address, electricity used, and required payment.

Then their support rejects my application with the following text:

"The provided document wasn't accepted.

Please provide a confirmation of the specified address. It can be in the form of any document (electricity, internet, or phone bill, etc.) that includes your full name, address in Ukraine, and a date. Receipts and bills must be dated within the last six months."

Then I ask why is my utility bill is not accepted it's an official one, I get the following response:



"Unfortunately, connecting the number is not possible without uploading a bill (electricity, internet, or phone bill). Please let us know if you want to cancel the order."

They have no competence whatsoever in dealing with customers. They can't even give an explanation on why the bill is refused. When a company responds to to customers with a canned response, it does not value them.

Also, if someone does not live in Ukraine and wants A NUMBER, why would they already have an internet and phone bill in Ukraine!? They want a number because they don't have one!

So here's the thing, my wife's condo management no longer accepts payment from foreign credit card. A Ukrainian bank account is required. Her Ukrainian bank is no longer active because it needs a Ukrainian phone number, which she doesn't have anymore since she moved to Canada. And to get a phone number, from a company like Zarma, YOU NEED A UKRAINIAN PHONE NUMBER.

When we transfer money to Ukrainians living in Ukraine to pay for my wife's utility bill, Banks block t heir account.

It's a catch-22 situation. Ukraine, and their companies are trying to force Ukrainians to go back to the country through dishonest, frankly should be illegal means.

You refused a document without providing a reason. You asked for a utility bill, we provided one and you refused it. You wrote "verification requirements are set by local legislation".

If the utility bill I provided is not accepted because of some "legislation", then your government should tell the companies in your country to provide proper utility bills. This is an official bill from the condo management company .

Anyways, not accepting an official document and not explaining why, is not proper service.

I guess I'll try Yesim next, they offer Ukrainian virtual numbers without the nonsense requirements.

Service Doesn't Work, No Refund - Total Scam

Bought a mobile number with SMS specifically for WhatsApp registration. Didn't work from minute one.

Support's response: "Contact WhatsApp support about our number" and refused to even send a test SMS to verify their service works.

Asked for immediate refund since the service is defective. They refused, claiming "1 month minimum usage" even though I had the number for less than an hour and it never worked.

Classic bait-and-switch: sell SMS-capable numbers, then claim "we can't guarantee third-party services" when it doesn't work.

Filing chargeback. Avoid this company completely.

I was skeptical because VoIP sometimes…

I was skeptical because VoIP sometimes sounds robotic but Zadarma proved me wrong. Even long international calls feel natural. I’ve never had someone complain about noise or echo. That gives me confidence when speaking with clients. For anyone tired of poor call quality this is a reliable pick.

Great for international communication

We’re based in the UK but work daily with clients in Germany and Spain. Having local numbers in multiple countries helps a lot with trust and response rate. Setting them up was straightforward. Prices per minute are fair and invoices are clear. It feels like a truly global-ready solution.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

I wasted money on this service, and it was a disappointment from start to finish. The number I purchased didn’t work for the one basic thing I needed it for, and even with screenshots proving the issue, support basically brushed it off and gave me the usual copy-paste excuses. Super unhelpful, zero accountability. The website itself feels like it was built a decade ago. Nothing is intuitive, everything is buried, and simple tasks take way longer than they should. If you enjoy spending time on a clunky, confusing platform that barely communicates what’s going on, this might be the place for you. As for reliability… don’t count on it. If you want something unpredictable and non reliable, you should go with them. But if you want something that actually works when you need it, look somewhere else. I regret signing up and won’t be using their service again.
