Zap Group hurts its customers
The Israeli company Zap Group maintains a website for consumers to compare product prices on. Recently it began selling products directly to consumers in order to share the seller’s profit. In late June 2025 I ordered a vented clothes dryer from Zap Group. It arrived a few days later but the delivery service was terrible and the deliveryman refused to clear the old dryer. Zap Group refused to pay for the installation of the dryer even though this is the manufacturer’s requirement. When I hired a technician to install the dryer it turned out that its vent was on the left side. Due to a large adapter facing left and the limited space it could not be connected to the opening in the wall on the right. Now Zap Group is ignoring my request to replace the STILL NEW dryer with one whose vent is on the right side. My messages to the CEO and parent company have been ignored.
