AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

I bought a "tailored suede coat", which when it arrived, looked nothing like the picture on their site. Cheap fabric & shapeless. I contacted them the day it arrived to get return details. That was 13/02/2006. I'm still trying to get an address & a refund for the £49.50 coat, that I'd be hard pushed to use as a dog bed. When I looked at the emails I received to find an address "page can't be found". It's a scam. They were calling themselves Olivia Rose of London. Beware. As a footnote. I approached Paypal for support. Less than 24 hours later, they rejected my claim (even though it was within the 30 day return envelope) in favour of the vendor. I wish I could post the information that I provided, including photographs of what the vendor was selling & what rubbish I received. Paypal have clearly plummeted. Sadly, I have a credit account. When that's paid up, Paypal will be a thing of my past. No guarantee of support & certainly NO loyalty for customers.

Do not buy from Zara Mae London

I sent for a wool blend strange coat which turned out to be flimsy material and poor fit. There was no note of how to return the item and no contact details. I did not get any reply to my emails to customer support asking for the returns process.

Cheap quality, bad service and no returns or refunds

None star! Received dress… cost £59.99, quality really bad, nothing look like on advert. I have asked for refund on this same day I received the sweater and there is none! Offered 10% return and 50% off with next shopping (no thanks)! On top of that is coming from china and took 13 days. Funny as on all comments there is no possibility to send message or comment. Please do not waste money or nerves.

I ordered a dress & like the other…

I ordered a dress & like the other reviews have stated, the material quality is awful. I've just sent an email to ask for a refund & apparently the router doesn't exist. Strange because the order email disappeared shortly after. Guess I'm stuck with this horrible dress & I'm £40 out of pocket 😕

a widespread global scam

The company is fake and a big scam. This is not a legitimate or reputable business – this is a widespread global scam. Never send the item and they didn't refund my money. I will file a complaint with the Cybercrime Enforcement Agency.

NEVER use this merchant!!

NEVER use this merchant!!! Zara and Lux are a fraudulent, so-called business, operating in bad faith; their only goal being to scam you of your money. The quality of clothing is so poor and unlike what is shown on their site that your only option is to return it or burn it. I had to contact them to ask how to return the items which they made extremely difficult. I met their protocol and paid over £30 to ship the order back to them for them to delay processing the refund for over 2 months. Have chased a dozen times, to be assured that they were investigating it, they finally told me the case had gone on too long to refund me. They never had any intention of refunding me. I am now down £140 with no purchase to show for it. I told them I was raising a dispute with my bank and they claimed this was the reason the refund wouldn’t process and if I cancelled the dispute they’d be able to send the money through. Start to finish the worst online shopping experience I’ve encountered.

They did not have the dress I ordered

They did not have the dress I ordered, but it was still availeble to order on their website.
They would not return my money and when I chose another dress, it took 3 weeks to arrive and I did not get it in time for the occation that I had bought it for. It was send from China.
The second dress was also too short when compared to pictures online.

I would not recommend buying anything from this shop.

If I could give zero stars I would. They have confirmed my item returned and they have my Royal Mail registered delivery receipt and still no refund. It’s been 6 weeks and approx 30 emails later.

Misleading Products, Poor Customer Service & Ignorance of UK Consumer Rights

I ordered a dress from Zarae London that looked beautiful in the advertised images, only to receive something entirely different. The colour was wrong, the stitching was faulty, and the style didn’t match the photos at all. I later discovered the images they used were taken directly from another brand’s website — incredibly misleading and unacceptable.

When I raised the issue, they acknowledged the discrepancies but refused to offer a proper refund unless I paid to return the item to China — something they are legally obligated to cover under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. I gave them multiple opportunities to resolve this fairly, including offering options like a prepaid return label or a full refund without return, but they ignored the law and continued to push a partial refund of just 20%.

Their policies do not override UK consumer law, and their disregard for it is extremely disappointing. I’ve since had to escalate this through my bank.

Avoid this company. The product quality, service, and ethical standards are far below what any customer should expect.
