I bought the cool pillow in the curve shape and the pillowcase for it, and the cool quilt, the blue one.
PILLOW:
-Pros: literally does what it says it does. Not sure what the material is,but it's got these lil gel squares on it that are, well, cold and cooling. The pillow seems to be water resistant so i feel like even om the hottest sweatiest nights, nothing gets absorbed in it, but rather rolls right off. Pillow is very cool to the touch. Obviously it will get warm throughout the night, it's not a perpetual ice cube, but it stays colder than normal pillows, and in the time it takes me to sit and drink a sip of water in the middle of the night, it's cold again.
-Cons(mind you,i didn't read much about it so some might be just user error): no idea how i would deep clean it. I can wipe it, but i doubt i can soak it or god forbit machine wash it so that will be an interesting challenge when the time comes. Next,it's quite uncomfortable if you fold it in half. I know it's not supposed to be folded, but personally i do that to my pillows when I'm on my phone and stuff like that, so that's not that great, for me. Lastly, it's much bigger than i imagined it would be(i obviously didn't read the measurements on the site if there were any so it's on me) but damn it's huge. All of these factors, even though my own fault, made me pick my other warm normal pillows for the last few nights.
PILLOWCASE:
-Pros: it's got a mesh side that's supposed to go on the top side of the pillow,so the cold gel thingies can be felt REALLY well though it. It's comfy also, soft. Definitely the best pillowcase for this specific pillow,as you dont get all the cooling wffects with a cotton/etc pillowcase.
-Cons: Again a preference, i wish somehow it was possible to make it out of pure cotton or silk/bamboo so it's better for haircare also but i understand that sometimes it just doesn't work out on all fronts.
BLANKET
-Pros: Literally life changing.Maybe I'm not aware of other brands like this,but this felt like such a big upgrade and innovation to me. I felt like i dicovered gold in that moment and i could NOT WAIT to wash it and use it after unpacking it. On the website it looks like a literal blanket cover, like the thinnest, most lightt weight sheet ever. I cannot even describe the feeling of it. It's heavy,but not too heavy, it's not even heavy really, but it's got some weight to it. The fabric hugs my body like no other ever did. I would buy a dress made out of this, it's so unbelievably comfy. Never have i ever felt a fabric,let alone a blanket like this. It's got 2 sides, a cold one and a warm one. The cold one is COLD. Cools me down instantly. Again, it does not stay cold after hours of having it on,but just like the pillow, if you wave it in the air a bit or just go pee at night,its back to cold by the time you get in bed again. Even though it doesn't stay cold always (again,it's not an ice cube), my body somehow stays cooled under it more than it would if i took it off. Like at this point, take all my money, i need a bedsheet, a dress, pillowcase, and possibly couch covers of that fabric. Idk how you do it, but i need more. I cannot shut up about it.
The warm side, does actually keep warm, somehow,considering its also pretty thin looking material. On chilly evenings it comes in handy and i can see myself using it in the winter. Maybe not on its own, but will definitely help. I do like the fact that theres a warm side too, as you basically get 2 blankets in one.Really cool "technology", I'm confused as to how it works but jeeeeeesus i love it and i cannot recommend this more.
-Cons: too good,makes my other blanket feel left out. For real though, i saw on the site that there's a cool quilt and a cool blanket. One of them was grey, one blue. I got the blue one. I didn't get what the difference was between the 2, if there is any, so it was a bit difficult choosing one of them, i felt like the information wasn't clear enough on that, but whatever. Also if you got a cat, be ready for the warm side to get some strings pulled out, that's what happened to me. But you know.. if my cat likes it enough to make biscuits on it, then that's more of a pro if anything.
