Great partners!

The guidance provided to my unending avalanche of questions has been on point and very helpful. The team members whom I've "spoken" with are friendly, knowledgeable and very good at explaining topics which can be very siloed in nature. That in itself is an unusual skill in the industry!

So much better than Picfair

This company is geared towards photographers like myself. I had a previous site through Zenfolio years ago when it was more simple to use but now that I'm retired, many of the new features don't apply to my needs. It has become less intuitive in structure but their tech support is the better than any that I've experienced in years. They have real people that answer real questions.

Growing your business with Zenfolio for Photographers

I have been with Zenfolio for many years now. As my photography business has grown so has Zenfolio. It provides everything I need to support my clients with the self fulfilled shopping experience. The one to ones with Zenfolio experts is a definite plus if you are on a Pro Account. If you are thinking of growing your photography business I would definitely give then a go. What's not to love .

Helpful help for most issues...

Everyone is very helpful. I only wish that I fully understood how to better work with the program was more step-by-step. I oftentimes feel overwhelmed with the number of articles that are sent to me whenever I have an issue. Sometimes, less is more. I also wish I could have the option to work with one person in fully developing my site and systematically work on specific issues to improve my platform.

I had multiple issues with…

I had multiple issues with Zenfolio..mostly due to my not following thru with a couple.of things. I had the fortune of connecting with Eliina after contacting Zenfolio. Eliina was knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and mostly important...patient. She figured out what was wrong, corrected it and kept me informed at all times. She is truly an asset to your company.

Not for professional photographers

I have been a Zenfolio user since early 2013, but I'm closing my account.

Zenfolio charge me a yearly fee to display my pictures so they can be made available to my photography clients. However in recent years they have been quietly archiving the galleries (including the thumbnails) so that nobody can view them.

It is possible to restore galleries from the archive, but this takes around 12 hours per gallery. If your galleries were organised into collections (Eg a wedding collection divided into Prep, Ceremony, Group photos, Reception), each gallery is now on its own in the archive; separated from collection. What a mess.

If you are a professional photographer who requires an online gallery to show your years of experience to future clients, Zenfolio is not for you.

By moving less frequently accessed images to Archive, we’re able to improve performance, and protect your photos in a state-of-the-art cloud environment.

That said, we know that every photographer’s workflow is different. If Archive does not fit your business model, our Archive Exclusion tool allows you to opt out completely. This will restore all archived images to your account and prevent any future archiving. If you’d like to explore this option or have any questions, we’re happy to help!
