Stress free and hassle free car rental at Faro Airport. Very quick service for pick up and drop off with professional staff. Everything is explained on website when booking the car so there are no extra costs on arrival. I always use Zest when I’m travelling.

Friendly service shame about the ending
Friendly service. Catch a quick minibus from airport to office . Would have given 5* if they hadn’t quoted an extra £150 to have the car one more night when we were stranded because of air traffic control . We had already booked a car for 10 days and returned, but due to flight being cancelled on 8th September and we had to travel to Alicante to catch a flight the next morning I asked if we could rent the car for another 12 hours and drop at Alicante airport , but was quoted more than a taxi !!!!!! Shame as up until that point I thought they were great .

The service from Zest has always been exemplary as has the provider/s of the rental car.
I have never had an issue when collecting and returning the vehicle hired. A swift courteous service always.

We hired a car for a touring holiday around central Portugal. Zest were outstanding from the initial booking to handing the car back. Great value for money, a lovely clean car, staff set the satnav up for us. The staff were polite, very helpful throughout. We handed the car back which was smooth and no difficulties. The car collection & drop off was easy to find & they dropped us off at the airport terminal in a timely fashion. Simply excellent & highly recommend, we will use again 😊

Overall the experience was excellent and great communication from Zest at all times. The web site is great and we did look for the better local car companies to choose to hire from that Zest engage with, using the ratings info provided, and the top up insurance is a real "peace of mind" insurance service they provide. Will definitely use again.

Great Website for Car Rental!
Second time I used Zest for car rental, this time in Mallorca. Booking is easy and had many choices with various companies and additional free driver! The best deal was with Hertz, who had a counter at airport. I bought extra excess insurance with Zest and paid in full in the UK. At the Hertz counter they did try and sell extra insurance which I declined but they took my credit card details. Pick up and drop off was easy with Hertz. Car was a newer model, clean and after pick up they send an email with current damages hence check this before leaving carpark. Car enabled bluetooth to google maps which is always easier! Would recommend Zest! and Hertz!

Hired a car through the company zest at…
Hired a car through the company zest at Malaga - they use Recordgo car rental. We filled up the petrol as contracted on return 29 th August. On returning to the uk we could see a charge of 117 euro plus 24 euro administration. Contacted zest who confirmed that we had returned the car full as they could see the records in the recordgo system. Assured money had been mistakenly taken and had already been returned. The money has still not been returned as of 14th September. Three different reps have stated that they are ‘liaising’ with recordgo - no further information . They do not phone or escalate with recordgo, an email is sent and ignored.
We will take legal action against zest as our contract is with them if money is not returned. A very disappointing experience with this company , we will never use them again.

Booking with Zest was smooth sailing…
Booking with Zest was smooth sailing all the way through. They allow effective and fast booking management. Refunds and deposits arrive without unnecessary delay. I booked a Thrifty car through them, so they have reliable partners in their portfolio. Do check that, because I also see some companies like Carwiz in there, which has tried to cheat me by not returning a deposit on false claims of car damage. This seems to be standard practice for Carwiz as evidenced by their Trustpiolot testimonials. So, I fully recommend Zest Car Rental, but I would advise caution when deciding which of their partners to choose from. And due to that, I can only give 4 stars. I would urge the company to reconsider cooperating with Carwiz.

The hire car was in very good condition…
The hire car was in very good condition a few scratches on the rear bumper but overall very good condition inside and outside. The car drove very good. It came with a full tank of petrol. Returning was easy they checked it over straight away and returned my deposit next day.

Smooth experience
Good choice when choosing what car to hire in Portugal. Clear web site that I didn’t find difficult to navigate. Emails sent to advise where to collect.
Although it took over 2 hours to get through customs - car was waiting for us. Exactly as we had ordered in fact nearly new car with only 500 miles on clock. Returned car at end of holiday with rep waiting for us at the car park.
