Disgusting company

Do not use. Prices are low and then when they do offer you a good price, they refuse it when you send it. Absolutely not worth you time or effort. Disgraceful company!

Said they didn't receive most valuable book

I put together an order of a bunch of books, most of them were pretty commonplace ones, so I wasn't too surprised that almost none were worth a pound. But then a second copy of the Final Fantasy X-2 Strategy Guide I had lying around turned out to be over £6, pushing my order total up to over £15 and making it feel worth boxing them up and taking them to the locker at the local Sainsbury's.
So I just got the email about my order total, and they marked the FFX-2 guide "not received". This is impossible. I scanned the items as I put them into the box, and it's not a small book; I would definitely notice if I had left it lying around. So they apparently say they received all my books worth a quid or less, but magically didn't get the one book of the lot that was worth anything decent?
Frankly, I feel like I've been scammed. I'm never using this app again.

Thieves

Thieves. My husband and I packed up some very nice art books and sent them off for a return of about £5
We got £2.33 given to us. It was hardly worth the cardboard box and brown tape.
They are ripping people off. Please avoid!!

Please avoid this company at all cost. SCAMMER!

Please avoid this company at all cost. If I had read the review, I wouldn't have sent my books to them. They are SCAMMER!
I sent my book and they sent email that it has been collected. However, they later sent they can't find the book, that I should give ingo regarding tracking no and where it was posted to, and I did, after few minutes, they said the transaction has been cancelled, when my books are with them. Please bodies in charger of scammers should help as this is becoming a reoccurrence according to the reviews. I would have given zero review if I could choose it.

Not to be trusted. Do not trade with Ziffit.

Posted a box of 70 CDs to Ziffit from my late father’s collection, all original edition CDs, factory pressed in perfect condition. Ziffit rejected 37 of the CDs with reason ‘Not original disc’ with no further information provided. I E-Mailed immediately and asked for this to be escalated to management so that it could be re-checked and corrected. I received no response to this E-Mail, my subsequent follow-up, or to the form I submitted via their website (Ziffit cannot be contacted by telephone). Eventually I got a standard response directing me to their terms and conditions. I analysed the trade and found that 21 of the 22 most expensive items were rejected, whilst the 18 cheapest items were all accepted. Only 4 of the 28 CDs above £2 in value were accepted. Knowing that the CDs were all original discs in original packaging, the only conclusion I can draw is that Ziffit invented a reason to reject the expensive CDs to avoid paying me (they withheld payment of £87, two thirds of the value of the trade). I feel like I’ve been well and truly scammed and there’s nothing I can do about it.

I sent good quality books which they valued at £13. I received a cheque for £6 saying they're going to ewcycle some books because the quality wasn't good. That's a lie. I'd rather give to charity for free than trade with them. Scammers.

Awful just awful

Awful, just awful. We sent 3 packages of fairly low value books all were accepted then another box than another and we had more and more rejected for water damage - these books had been kept in a house in a plastic box. Last time they rejected 3 good/higher value books. Seriously they need to take a good long look at themselves. They really are stealing from you and that’s the absolute truth!!! Avoid avoid avoid !

Broken system

I would give Ziffit no stars, if this were possible, because the books I had packed up never left my flat. Ziffit appears to have a problem with DPD, who twice failed to collect. On the first occasion, DPD claimed they'd been unable to locate my address - absurd, since they have many times delivered parcels to me. On the second occasion they posted a message saying they'd been notified (by me? No! They never even rang our bell) that the parcel wasn't ready for collection.
Ziffit customer services did not reply to my email re this second missed collection.
I guess that DPD may simply not want to cooperate with a system requiring them to produce labels for parcels to be collected. Surely most customers would be able to print out a label themselves, and attach it to the box?
I shall be cancelling my account with Ziffit.

Boxes due to be collected today and two hours before collection, got an email saying cancelled. Impossible to speak to anyone - customer service line is a recorded message then cut off, and Nora (chat bot) will not respond to a request not on her list, and certainly won’t put you through to a person. Ddp, who you can speak to, told me Ziffit cancelled. Appalling. Waiting for a reply by email, but will never use this company again.

Do not use this company

Like many of the other reviews I have used Ziffit many times now and the last few times they've marked the highest value items as "not received". The first couple of times I stupidly just let it go, thought it was me, or thought it was the odd mistake at their end. I will now never use them again now as strangely the last time the highest value book of £6.70 was the item that was "not received" despite the fact I took a photo of the contents of the box before I sent it. I've contacted customer services via the chatbot and no-one has got back to me.

Please don't use this company, they will steal your books and DVDs.

Want offer lower than charity shop…

Want offer lower than charity shop prices for books in excellent condition. I scanned 2 academic ones - one published last year -cost £25 & they offered me about £2 for it. Same for others, some good fiction.
They must be making a killing of a profit if some people accept these prices- I refused!

Very frustrating service.

Twice they gave the wrong address to the courier. My time wasted and the frustration experienced is worth more than I'm getting for my books. Not worth the effort.
