Seldom do products perform as advertised, Zinstall is an exception. I’m not a computer guru and transferring my programs, files, pictures, settings was very simple and straightforward just as advertised. The only thing I had to do was rearrange the icons the way I wanted!!

This program saved me hours and hours of reinstalling programs, transferring files, pictures, etc.

The program was unable to detect my old computer despite the fact that I disabled all firewalls. They claim the ability to speak to a real person. NOT. all you do is get bot type responses and a promise of an email from their “support” division that doesn’t arrive or address the problem. There is no way to request a refund. It’s a ripoff. Don’t buy it.

didn't work for me. I thought it would be a simple migration from W 10 to W11. Started the migration process and it would not connect to the W10 PC. Contacted support and they tried to talk me through it. Followed all of the instructions. Didn't work. Last straw is when the support tech suggested I remove the hard drive from my source PC and upgrade to the next level migration package. Yeah, right, I'm not physically going to remove a hard drive from an all-in-one PC. So, I had a bad experience. May have just been my operating environment. So, just eating the cost. I used Dell Migrate which did work ok, so at least I'm up and running.

I recently purchased Zinstall win win after purchasing a new computer and having gone through the process of manually transferring all of the data, and dreading the whole tedious process, my hope was that the Zinstall software would eliminate the effort. I was NOT disappointed. My first transfer was done by wifi connection and took several hours, but it worked. My new computer was defective though so I had to do another transfer with another computer. This time I used an ethernet connection and the transfer only took about 2 hours, but the transfer was successful and complete. AS I told the Zinstall sales rep, this was the best technical investment I ever made, and I have no patience with products that do not perform.

I am technologically challenged and needed to transfer all of the information from my small business from my old laptop to my new laptop. I followed the directions but it wasn't working. I reached out to the phone number for tech support and also sent an email with my issues. I spoke with a person in tech support and they guided me through my issues one by one. It took a couple of days but he never gave up on me or my issues. He spent plenty of time walking me through what I needed to do. He researched to find the issues that were holding me up and figured out how to get me through it. I have my new laptop with all of my old information on it. SUCCESS!! I was so happy with my experience with Zinstall and their support team.

Transfer only took around 2 hours. The tech fella Gonzalo was very nice and helpful. Great product !!!

If it was possible to leave 6 stars - I would. Great product! Thought the software was a bit pricey ($129), but it was worth every penny. Copied everything from my old computer to the one one without a single glitch or problem. Delightful to find a product that works like it is supposed to - no B.S., just a well-designed package that does the job! Six stars!

Excellent! WinWin did what it was suppose to do and saved me a lot of time and aggravation. It took about 17 hours, but I had a lot of stuff that built up over the years. Transfer was from a ASUS ROG i7 laptop with Windows 10 pro and i7 core to a Xidax Xm-10 notebook with Windows 11 pro, i9 core. While the transfer went fairly well, I did have a few duplicate files (I could count them on one hand) and Photoshop and Lightroom didn't work out very well. The work around was to re-install both PS and LR and by doing that my add in's like Topaz and Nik collection plugins were auto picked up - included. So all I had to do was deleted the few dup files and re-install PS and LR. I used WiFI for the transfer, Wired hookup may be faster.

I had 2 duplicate ssds, both w/ win 10 os, plus 2 data hds. I selected transfer from C: only, to new computer, also with 4 disks. The result was 2 new drives 512 GB were almost filled, 32 bit backup software for drive backup did not work, could not be uninstalled and windows 11 could not format any disks in order to erase unwanted transfer. I submitted all required data to tech support but received no help or answer. Left on my own, I did a clean install of Win 11 on new computer, uninstalled the backup software on old computer and disconnected all but one disk on old computer. Used Zinstall to make new transfer. Most programs transferred successfully, 512 GB disk had lots of room open, and I could install and uninstall, and format the other disks to remove what was transferred on first attempt. Conclusion: Software works pretty well on simple transfer but instructions for complicated transfer are inadequate and tech support is non-existent.

I recently used zinstall to transfer from Windows 10 computer to new Windows 11 computer. I needed assistance and Gonzalo was great at walking me through the process to get it all started. Everything transferred and I am very happy with the results and the expert assistance from Gonzalo. He was very personable and professional. I would definitely recommend this service.

Gonzalo was extremely helpful, really took the time to explain to me what he was working on and went above and beyond really made this seamless.

I used this kit to migrate my old Windows 10 laptop to my new Windows 11 laptop and I am so happy I did. Everything worked very well, I did not even read the user guide, I just watched the video it was that easy :)

The transfer from my old computer to my new computer was performed with great excellence!!! I could not have even tried to do what my service technician provided!!! It was well worth the cost for this service!!!

I was pleasantly surprised how easy this tool was to use. Very user friendly and took any worry about losing something, away. I would certainly recommend Zinstall to anyone planning a migration from one computer to another.
If I had one hesitation it would be that it did not capture Microsoft Edge history and transport it to the new machine. Could have been my fault, but still was disappointed when I had to recreate some links.
All in all ... well done team.

I startd the transfer and had issues from the start. i contacted them by their online chat in which they said to email their support team to get help. I sent a support emai to the address their online chat gave me and they replied to fill out a support form. I did that too. I dind't hear back
from anyone until I placed a poor review.
I was told to stop abort the transfer and then start up again (was assured that it wouldn't start over) and not only did it start copying everything again it did it in duplicates! This was a horrible experience with their product and customer service. I received another email telling me that they were going to 'upgrade' the product i purchased to the step above. I explained that I didn't need an upgrade, i needed help with their product period. I was told that the computer was corrupted. I told him that it was a brand new lenova laptop that I just opened and installed their product to transfer my files. I never heard back from anyone.

Gonzalo was the technician that handled the conversion from the old desktop to the new desktop. The challenge was that the old desktop lost the task bar. After moving all the data to the new desktop, MS Outlook for the second user lost all the contacts.
Gonzalo worked many hours attempting to recover the contacts and because of his knowledge and experience he was able to figure out how to search the old desktop, recover the contacts and move them to the new desktop. I am extremely grateful for the assistance I receive from him. We were in contact since August 9, 2024, until August 18, 2024. Thank you.

The Zinstall wireless transfer program worked seamlessly. Almost everything from my old computer came over to my new computer.
Couple of suggestions, write down the license number as you'll need it to have program work. Disable or uninstall antivirus. After that it's seamless. Great program. After transfer all I had to do is install my antivirus and DuckDuckgo. Everything else transferred.

Zinstall WinWin. Great product, great service. Had to do a transfer across two Dell 1600's. Went to Zinstall because I had used them years ago, very good decision to use them again! From my own error, downloaded WinWinn twice, and without me knowing, Zintstall noticed this and cancelled the cost of one download. Amazing service! Transfer was on WiFi, 40 mpbs, took about 24 hours and was perfect Many thanks to Zinstall Support and Kyle S

I'm sorry - I missed seeing your note earlier. Yes, the follow-up e-mail was received and VERY MUCH APPRECIATED..! With the new information you provided, I changed the Registry values, and the reverse transfer (from Win11 to Win10) went smoothly. This is incredible service and an incredible product. The very best I've seen, and you should all be proud of such a valuable and thorough product, not to mention your outstanding and quick response to questions such as I had. Including this e-mail, which is a follow-up to make sure I received your original reply..!

I don't understand any of those customer/complainers that I read about..! Clearly, those folks must not be up-to-speed on what they're doing. From my own experience, Zinstall is - especially with your help on unusual situations like mine, - a foolproof and brilliant design.

Recently I bought a new desktop computer, and was dreading trying to transfer all my data etc. from my old machine. I had nightmares about all the hassle and frustrations this used to cause for weeks in the past. As I started this time with Zinstall, it all seemed to go worryingly slow. I decided to let the process run overnight, and I was absolutely delighted to find it had completed the whole process without me doing a thing. All my documents were there, all my programs worked perfectly, and all my files were laid out exactly as I had them before. Wow, what a relief! Great!
So, thanks Zinstall, hugely useful, you saved me a lot of heartache.
