let down by drivers

first I would like to say that the guys in customer service have always been really helpful and tried really hard to help, so those guys I would give 5 stars to, the drivers however have been the issue for me, I had a day booking and the driver accepted it, then dropped it in the middle of the night, ended up having to pay another company a huge amount to step in at the last minute. then today I had a driver booked, they turned up, saw my deliveries were all in London, said "I'm not doing that, it's not worth it" and left. the guys in the office did sort another van but that driver only wanted to take eight drops when we had nine, I had to call the office again to get them to rectify the situation. like I said, 5 stars for the guys in the office but I can't afford to be messed around by drivers, caused to much stress and hassle for me.

Following your review we are now in the process of implementing a change to our Day Hire booking form to make it compulsory that job details are provided such as delivery locations and a description of the items being delivered. This ensures drivers are given full visibility of the job details, before they accept the job. This will prevent this happening again. Thank you for this useful feedback.

Delivery app is great

Delivery app is great, very quick service, would recommend to everyone.
My goods were delivered before the actual delivery time, spot on service, would definitely use again.

Overall good however system trouble..

Overall everything went well however on the morning of the collection and delivery, it was still saying that a driver was waiting to be allocated - so I had to call the office as their systems hadn't updated. I also messaged the driver and asked for them to confirm as soon as the item had been dropped off and I didn't get a response. I was only notified by ringing in again as they hadn't updated the tracking. It was over 2 hours after delivery had been made that I got the proof of delivery.

Wasn’t a great first experience but I…

Wasn’t a great first experience but I can’t exactly fault them. They were prompt with communication and rectifying last minute cancellation from the driver, and still came through in the end. The team are all pleasant and very friendly, down to the drivers. (It’s hard to come by great customer services these days.) 10/10 will recommend and use again.

Totally unreliable

Totally unreliable. Even though booked 7 days ahead, day 1- 7.5 ton box body 'vehicle breakdown' reported 10 mins before scheduled time even though app showed vehicle 250 miles away. Replacement vehicle completely unsuitable for the load- 18 ton curtain side. Delivery completed by another local company on whom we could rely. Day 2 - delivery went as planned........Day 3 - complete failure on all vehicles to turn up or fulfill load. Really poor comms/reponses with Delivery App staff. Vehicle tracking did not work so could not relay eta times to clients.

The team and the contact is great

The team and the contact is great, prices are accurate.
The ease of using the app itself is what sets them apart from the rest.
