Got there at 5pm for 530 on the coaster…
Got there at 5pm for 530 on the coaster told to wait and go there at 525 which we did to find a 45 minute queue! Kids playing up in the queue as they were bored and fed up waiting around. What's the point in having a booked time if you have to queue up anyway. I have amended this from 1 to 3 star as the ride is really good and worth the wait
Great start, bad finish
I took my son today to do the Velocity ride - 100mph zip wire. The ride was amazing and all staff during the ride were great, chirpy, professional. I liked the use of Welsh language between them and for the 1,2,3 before launch. We didn’t know the ride included a practice zip wire either which was an added bonus! But, I ordered and paid for a camera during the ride for both me and my son. My son was especially excited to compare videos and see my reaction in the video. Unfortunately my camera stopped working before the ride started. When I worked this out after download I was advised to go the front desk to see if they could extract more video. They couldn’t. I was offered a refund or another ride. The ride takes around 2 hours in total including queuing, kit up, transport etc so clearly I couldn’t leave my son for 2 hours! I opted for the refund but suggested it would be appropriate for me to also receive a refund for my sons video as recompense for me missing out on a video I’d booked and paid for in advance (at significant cost) and the replaying of my experience and comparing to my sons. I was told this wasn’t possible / policy and I couldn’t speak to anyone else as the young man I was speaking to was the front of house manager. Bearing in mind all riders wear cameras and not everyone pays in advance so it costs them nothing to create the video. This is a good example of how companies now squeeze every penny out of customers and there appears to no longer be gestures of goodwill which would have left me feeling appreciated as a customer who has already spent over £250 with them on the day. I would certainly do everything I could to appease one of my customers who hadn’t received the experience they had paid for, but clearly this is not ZipWorld ‘policy’.

I went to book two vouchers online for Aug, website says from £92, but ended up £120 per ticket. That's £2.0/second. Thats B**** EXPENSIVE
Very Expensive.
I wanted to book 3 people on Velocity in a months time. It says from £92 per person and then when i'd chosen the dates it was a total of £425 not including parking, which you have to pay for.
I won't be bothering for that money.

Ignore all the bad reviews from idiots who don’t pay to park etc. This is an excellent facility, well staffed, well run and most importantly superb fun! We did Velocity and the Quarry Karts which were both brilliant in their own way. One word of advice; if you book both in advance leave time after the zip wire to have another go at half price as you’ll probably want to.
Great day out, full marks.
Caverns
Caverns - Ending up being Hospitalized.
On October 2024, I visited Zip World Caverns. During the zipline experience, specifically on the Caverns, I sustained a torn trapezius muscle. I attribute this injury to insufficient padding on the long ziplines. The impact upon landing was significant, and I believe the lack of adequate padding contributed to the severity of the injury. Furthermore, the first aid response was inadequate. There was no immediate assessment of my injury, and the assistance provided was minimal. There was no follow-up regarding medical attention or incident reporting. This experience raises serious concerns about the safety measures in place at Zip World Caverns and their commitment to customer care. I was hospitalized for a total of two days following the incident, emailed Zip world multiple times to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else, however no response at all.
My granddaughter enjoyed the Zip line…
My granddaughter enjoyed the Zip line it was a reasonable price for 9ne child. It felt like and exciting adventure for a ten year old. However,we ha the misfortune to go to the restaurant. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant resulting in the place being overrun by them. We saw one dog allowed to put its paws on the table and was eating off a plate on the table completely unsupervised. We will not eat there again.
Avoid any vouchers on offer
Avoid any vouchers on offer. The company don't make it clear they are eligible for 6 months and not 12 - the website says 12 and when I bought via a call to customer services they never mentioned the short use by date.
Zero assistance or flexibility, the feedback email is closed. Couldn't be less helpful and I onky asked for a 2 week extension- who wants to go in bad weather !
A fantastic experience
A fantastic experience, the best staff and Velocity is a must
ABSOLUTE RIP OFF
ABSOLUTE RIP OFF. They have the audacity to charge you £5 for the privilege of booking online. Parking £3 and £5 adult ticket to watch 15 year old kids on bounce below when you literally can see them. What an absolute joke this place is, Carry on with your ridiculous pricing but one thing is for sure we will be joining the long line of people local and tourists boycotting this place.
BOYCOTT ZIP WORLD
JOIN ME AND MANY OTHERS WHO ARE BOYCOTTING ZIP WORLD AFTER RECEIVING £100 PCNs WHEN THEY GOT HOME - NOW OVER 9 MONTHS SINCE THE CAR PARKING CHARGES WERE INTRODUCED.
There was a Back Benchers debate on May 6th where numerous MPs voiced their (constituents) issue with the current "Code of Practice" to Alex Norris (Government Minister) for review (see Hansard under parliament commons for 6th May Parking Regulation).
Great place for adrenaline junkies but parking is a scam.
Great place for familys and adrenaline junkies, let down by the parking.
After paying for the adventures, the parking should be free.
Not really a lot of Health and Safety.
We went on the Quarry Carts. It was really great fun.
They need to fill in some of the pot holes on the course though, some are filled with water so you don't know how deep they actually are. If a front wheel goes in one you will easily come off. Also as there is no suspension on the carts the pot holes will start doing a lot of damage to the carts.
And maybe all riders should wear an Orange High Visibility vest, for better visibility racing down the hill.
Tiny Trek Betws y Coed
We were the first paying customers to use the new Tiny Trek experience at the Betws-y-Coed location. We turned up on time and check-in was clear and smooth. When we got down to the activity, they were still setting up so staff made sure we were given drinks and were happy whilst waiting.
When we got to the activity, our 3-year old was really unsure and scared to put on the harness/helmet. A huge shout out to Nickita who was really friendly and child-centered. We were given extra time for her to get comfortable and to get used to the activity. We went round twice, and by the second round our little one was able to go round by herself.
Great activity for a low price to get little ones used to wearing gear in a low-pressure environment. Much better than softplay! We will definitely be back again to try other activities.
Watch out for parking fines - Even when parking is paid!!
Very expensive but it was good. Until 2 weeks later I received a letter telling me I hadn’t paid the parking fee and now owed them £100!
I had paid parking and can prove it and Still got a parking fine! Absolutely fuming - why you do you even need to pay for parking when l’d already paid over £200 for us to do the zip line is beyond me- but I had paid it and still got a fine.
I won’t be coming back nor will I be recommending it to anyone either!

Paid for parking ,my phone cancelled my card as it was suspected fraud . Was charged the £3 then today I received a parking fine even tho we paid . Luckily we have evidence. The tobogan ride was a complete waste of money and never worth all the hassle
Very disorganized
Very disorganized. Clear instructions are not given as to where you need a be and when. Nothing runs on time. Kid were left for a half hour past when they were supposed to go. It's an absolute joke that it's very expensive and they have the audacity to charge you to park there. Won't be returning ever and won't be recommending it to anyone.
Dont be fooled... 2 minutes on zipline, Video footage didn't work and got a parking charge
Communication to start with was slow, there were weather warnings so was trying to find out on the day if it was still on. When we got a reply we had little time to get there. After just making it on time we found the actual experience wasn't that long even though the time they said on the site made it seem like a good duration. Most of the time was waiting then a bus ride upto the first zipline. Time on the zip lines (2 altogether) was a couple of minutes. It wasn't an adrenal rush like I thought it would be but was a nice scenic view if thats what your looking for. Staff were friendly but the main problem was the video footage that took alot of time trying to download as it kept failing. Then the receptionist sent me a link that said it would fix the problem so we left the venue to do it later. This still didn't work and after a few emails they sent me the same link which of course still didn't work. Eventually I got a full refund. A couple of weeks later there was a parking charge sent through the post. We looked for signs to see if it was the right carpark and if a charge but did not see one. We were told by zipworld they have them everywhere and sent pics. These pics were not recent and the setup inside was different to when we were there.
This experience was on our honeymoon and left a sour taste after all this. Would strongly advise to make sure you ask about parking if you don't see a sign and wouldn't recommend getting the video footage as there were others there that also said they had the same issue before but we had already paid.
Bethesda’s much better than Blaenau’s Zip World.
I’ve been to the Bethesda Zip world which is the biggest and had the camera on which records the whole zip line experience, it was thrilling. The staff there were great too as they were trying to scare me and my girlfriend by saying it was their first day on the job. The food and beer was also very good, they had a pizza stall outside that we had after. The Blaenau Zip world isn’t as good, we went to the underground mini golf which was okay, the cave was cool but the actual mini golf wasn’t the best, and the food was terrible and well overpriced, some vegan hot dog that was basically a hash brown in a bun, and it took them almost 30 minutes to make, the young girl doing the mini golf tour was also very bland, no personality.

Spent £650 on a zip world trip the then received a parking fine from smart parking with no signs for the parking charges, would never return.
