Immoral crooks and liars – who regulates this company?

Who regulates this company? They are crooks and liars, operating above the law and making it impossible to claim a refund for cancelled trains. On 25th April all trains along the Toulon to Cannes line were cancelled for over 24 hours. The event – caused by the tragic collision of a truck with a train – and suspension of the line was well documented in the news; but when I submitted a claim for a refund of my ticket I was told there had only been a delay of 56 minutes and my claim was denied. They also refused to supply the information required by my UK insurance company – ie cause and length of suspension of service – which made it impossible to claim back the 299 euros I spent on a taxi between Toulon and Cannes.

Bureaucratic and does not take responsibility for cancelled train

I was travelling from Milan to Nice via Ventimiglia, and everything went well on the Italian side. However the last part of our trip we had to transfer in Ventimiglia was cancelled by the French train company Zhou and it was nearly impossible to get in touch with customer service. Finally it took a lot of time to fill in their complaints form, which asked for tons of information, very bureaucratic, as everything in France as trying to discourage the customer from submitting requests for a refund. In the end it was not worth it, since they finally sent a very long letter to say that they will not refund me for the cancelled train not taking responsibility for the cancellation. Don’t travel with this company.

Forget about Monte Carlo to Nice…

Forget about Monte Carlo to Nice Airport. Waited 1:20 minutes for a bus in Fairmont Monte Carlo bus station Les Spelugues. The information of the delay kept changing. The advertised on board internet was not working. Not recommended. I’m sorry I didn’t check the trust pilot reviews before booking the bus ride.

Public transport from Hell

This public transport comes straight from hell! Busses skipping your stop, while you very OBVIOUSLY sit there, waiting for the bus. Just to stop 40 meters after its stop to let someone out and still drive away from us even though we ran up to it and were standing in front of the door. THEN: We wait to enter the bus at its first stop. The bus chills there for 15min and doesn't let a bunch of people in and THEN drives away. To be exact two busses in the same direction drive away without letting AANY people in. THEN: We take the train from the same company and buy tickets for 3 people. We wanted to go through the entrance gate, where you have to scan the bus tickets and then go through the barrier. Well ir would have been GREAT to know we had only ONE ticket for our group of three and had to go through it all at ONCE. Which you would usually never do! We nearly miased our train, because no staff anywhere in sight. One of us had to run off and beg a train driver that happened to be on break to help us. We only made it because the train was 2 minutes late and the train driver was SUPER nice and helped us as much as possible. (he shouldn't need to do this! He was also so confused why the ticket only worked oce/we only got one ticket) FINALLY: the two companies for public transports in Antibes, that are not interchangeable, if you have a daily pass or anything alike. And NOBODY explains that to you. No website translates well into english or any languag except for french at all. Just overall the worst expirience I've ever made with public transport and I already take the DB on a regular basis. So that means something...

I come to Nice and the Region each year…

I come to Nice and the Region each year for 10 days and use your services each day. Over the last 5 years I have seen the fantastic upgrades at stations, in services and increased customer help : care.
Staff face a range of challenges and expectations from customers for sure in language skills and needs / support for disabilities etc.

Today I traveled from Nice to Antibes on an early Sunday service with only a few passengers. When I gave my travel Zou card to one of three lady members of staff / it was taken from me when requested and kept without explanation. This 7 day pass I have used for 4 of the 7 days and I had the receipt: proof of purchase to hand. After a few moments I requested it back and it was returned .

At Antibes ( less than 3 mins later ) I grabbed a coffee ☕️ next to the station and found myself sitting nest the three. They were speaking mix of French and some English. I awaited a few moments prior to them leaving and asked if there was anything wrong with my card as I was continuing my journey to Cannes

I was “ told “ to ( by the senior one ) go to the station and ask there ! She was on her break - with that they walked over to the station .!!

Revenue management is vital to
service provision - as indeed is customer care. My only motivation was to fullu Understand any issue THEY might have noticed.

Back in Nice Gare Ville / i found a more helpful, polite member of your staff who saw no issue with my card at sll
.

Merci

What's the point to pay an expensive…

No competitive advantage if this expensive bus stops operating from the airport at 10 pm just like all other public transportations ! It doesn't make any sense ! Many planes land after 10 pm at night and there is nothing to get on except the €100 taxi ride to go to Monaco. Nice Côte d'Azur is the second airport in France and there is basically no service after 10 pm. What a shame. Also their website is full of errors. Plus in Monaco it stops at only one place and far from the city center. So inconvenient. This route needs improvement otherwise it's useless. Probably losing money due to bad management. But I am not surprised. This is France after all. So restarted. This company should have buses until midnight at least and have 2 stops in Monaco. It used to stop at the Jardin exotique and now , no more. So why pay 20€ for a bad service??? So typical in France. Compared to the rest of the world, France is so behind. So sad for the tourists and locals who rely on public transport. On that poorly designed website, it says the bus will directly go to Monaco (from the airport) if nobody stops in Menton. Sorry but Menton is after Monaco so what the website is saying is total BS....Sad to see this beautiful country failing at all levels.

Subject: Report of Dangerous Driving by One of Your Drivers

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to report a serious incident that occurred on 24 Jun at 16 involving one of your drivers.

While we were traveling in France, we witnessed extremely dangerous driving by the driver of one of your vehicles, license plate number FB-079-BY. The driver in question, whose card number is 0077044968, exhibited aggressive behavior throughout the journey, endangering both us and other road users.

On numerous occasions, this driver frightened us with his reckless and aggressive driving. He was honked at several times by other motorists after cutting them off or running red or yellow lights. At one point, upon arriving in Saint-Tropez, he crossed a white line near a large supermarket, forcing a motorist to stop abruptly. He then unloaded all passengers in the middle of the road near a bus stop, blocking traffic and provoking more honking from other drivers.

Moreover, throughout the journey, he continuously honked to provoke the vehicle in front of him. After several miles of incessant honking, the driver of the vehicle in question got out of his car, clearly furious, to confront your driver. Instead of de-escalating the situation, your driver continued to provoke the motorist through the window before finally closing his door.

We thought the incident was over, but once we arrived in the center of Saint-Tropez, your driver stopped in the middle of the road again, blocking all traffic to further provoke the motorist, who had returned to a private parking area. The driver of the vehicle came back towards the bus, and your driver, apparently frightened, locked himself inside. The motorist took photos of the scene, and we witnessed the entire altercation.

To our astonishment, despite his dangerous driving and repeated provocations, your driver had the audacity to call the police, attempting to present himself as the victim in this situation.

We are deeply shocked by this ordeal. My husband noted the vehicle's license plate (FB-079-BY) and the driver's card number (0077044968). It is imperative to remind this driver of his responsibility towards the passengers he transports and other road users.

Thank you for taking the necessary measures to prevent such situations from happening again. We remain available for any additional information regarding this incident.

Awaiting your response, I remain,

Yours sincerely,
