What a debacle selling tickets through get me in is!

Ok so first time using Get Me In - I sold 1 ticket for Simply Red (order 2309573). I went through and arranged for a UPS pick up, leaving the ticket at my parents house as I knew they were in that day. Surprise surprise UPS did not turn up. I then contacted Get Me In and explained what had happened. The customer services advisor told me to drop off my ticket to a UPS collection point, which I did. I then received an email the next day saying I have to enter in a royal mail tracking number before 12pm or I would be charged the value of the ticket. Again I phoned the helpline and after another monumental wait I was told that the first advisor I spoke with gave me the wrong advice and that I needed to go and collect my ticket from the collection point and post it via royal mail next day delivery. I was told the cost would be reimbursed. Luckily the collection point UPS pick up had not happened yet.
So I send the ticket via royal mail and it is received by the buyer. 10 working days pass and no payment has been made! Another phone call was then made and it appeared my order had not been changed from dispatched to completed. I asked whether my royal mail payment of £6.45 would be paid and I was assured that it would be.
I received my original sold price for the ticket BUT Of course, this being Get Me In, no royal mail postage cost was paid.
This whole process has been a complete farce and rest assured I will never be selling any tickets through get me in again.

Thank you for your review, we really do appreciate your feedback.

In order to maintain a secure marketplace we don't make payment to sellers until around 10 business days after the event, this is so we can make sure your buyer has attended the event without issue and investigate any problems reported to us.

We can see that in this case your tickets were originally due to be sent by UPS but because of the closeness of the event you were asked to dispatch using Royal Mail so we could ensure your buyer received the tickets on time.

We're sorry to hear that the postage refund was missed from your payment this time - we've checked with our finance team and this is due to be made in the next payment run so should be with you within the next 3-5 working days.
