I am very disappointed with the service…

I am very disappointed with the service I received from FLIX BUS. I was traveling with my 4 young children and was not allowed to board the bus because I did not have car seats for all of them, even though airlines do not allow passengers to check car seats as luggage.

When I explained my situation to the bus driver - that I had just landed in the country from an international flight and did not have a way to transport car seats - he was very rude and refused to listen to reason. No accommodations were made for my travel needs as a parent with small children.

I then contacted customer service to explain what happened and request a refund for the unusable tickets. However, they did not seem concerned about my difficulties or show any willingness to help resolve the issue. No refund was provided.

As a mother of young kids traveling alone, I relied on public transportation to complete my journey. But this experience has shown a shocking lack of flexibility, understanding or customer service from FLIX BUS. Not being able to board with my children, through no real fault of my own, and then not receiving any assistance from the company afterward, was unacceptable.

Future passengers, especially families, should be aware that FLIX BUS do not make allowances for special circumstances and lacks compassion. I cannot recommend them and will look to use alternate transportation providers when possible.
