I first saw Bemuse promoted on a Sunday morning programme with Alan Titchmarsh and the reviews were very positive. I looked forward to trying some and reducing my alcohol intake. My son purchased the wild raspberry variety for me for Mother’s Day as the mixed pack was out of stock. However I was sadly disappointed. It smelt very strongly of vinegar and had a taste of vinegar which was stronger than the raspberry notes. I’m not familiar with mead, so I’m unsure if I should have expected this. The other flavours may be more to my taste.
