Review of Winedrops

Avoid this firm at all costs

Avoid this firm at all costs. Like many others (have a good scroll through) I didn't realise they make you give your bank details BEFORE you even get to look at any wine, and if you don't order anything within 10 days you get charged £119, and get absolutely nothing. You'll get the speil from Michael or Jonny that the £119 is non refundable, they'll tell you it's mentioned 4 times at the introduction stage, and if you don't cancel within 10 days they will charge you. Unethical, dishonest, untrustworthy, I can get a thesaurus to help me describe how bad this company are, but avoid them at all costs, unless you want to lose £119, and get nothing for it. Just for more information, they'll offer you 3 bottles of either red, white or champagne, as an offer of compensation, which they'll then ask you to pay a delivery charge for on top of the £119 charge, I disputed that charge and managed to get 3 bottles of champagne which came today, I've no desire to drink it, I may never know if it's nice or not, but I would shop at Laithwates next time I buy wine, a much more honest, decent, reasonable firm to deal with, I'll never buy from winedrops again
