Never use a courier that will never turn up
When you tick the date that works there's a belief that this is organised and that the courier will come, neither of these things are true.
When contacting them they don't seem bothered about what haven't done, and suggest that you drop the parcel off yourself,
So yes never order the courier, otherwise the service would be fine
