Review of Formula One Autocentres
I took my Van for a MOT/service in March 2025 and had an advisory on a tyre. I asked the then manager to check the aircon to see if all it needed was a service as it wasn't working. He confirmed it was all good and they could service it to get it working again.
So I dropped it back today after purchasing a new tyre and a aircon service online. I get call from the new manager Tommy to advise they have changed the tyre, but are unable to do the aircon service as they don't have the correct gas. He goes on to say that the Van needs new rear pads/discs and that are dangerously close to metal on metal. He said he could change them and make it safe to drive away for £505.
I asked him why they where not flagged up when the MOT was done 3 months 2000 miles earlier. He said the the brakes are not visible through the hub cap and wheel so they would not have been checked. When I collected the Van he still insisted that if not visible the brakes are 'given the benefit of the doubt' as he put it. He said they would only be checked if it was a service or a safety check....unbelievable !!! He also went on to say he is a MOT tester (god help us). When I reminded him the Van was also serviced so why wasn't they picked then he couldn't answer, he just said he didn't work there then.
When I was on the phone to him earlier he was quiet pushy for me to get the work done to the point I said I didn't have the funds just to get him off the phone, his answer to that was signing up to some sort of pay over to 3 months deal. I told him I would think about it and get back to him.
So now I am going to have to get the brakes checked somewhere else as I cannot trust this place due to all the inconsistences.
I did get a quote somewhere else incase the they do need changing and it was £320 all in. So £185 cheaper and they have a low price guarantee.
It is safe to say I will not be going back to F1 and if would advise you do not either !!!!!!
***UPDATE*** 10/06/2025 I booked the Van in for disc's and pads with Mr Clutch(the cheaper quote). When they rang to advise the job was completed, he advised they only changed the pads as the disc's are fine and they don't replace parts that don't need replacing.
Tommy the manager tried to pressure me into a £505 repair.
It ended up costing me £159.95 !!!!!
**UPDATE** 17/06/2025
Took the van back to Mr Clutch today to look at the aircon as F1 said it was on the new Gas and they only do the old gas. Guess what? it's on the old gas clearly labeled on the pipe. Mr Clutch has serviced for a better price than F1. The cab is lovely and cool now.
AGAIN Tommy the manager is lying or just doesn't have a clue.

Please read through the reviews. I ordered a mattress and after receiving a call from the delivery company alarm bells started to ring. I then cam on here to read all the bad reviews. I have since been trying to cancel my order In accordance with my rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. They will not acknowledge my request, even when i did get through to someone. She just kept talking about bringing the delivery forward. I will report to trading standards and request a charge back by my credit card, if unable to get them to refund.

Further to my review on the 25/09/2024 and a reassuring reply from energy fitness. I have received another email from Argentum Capital Partners Ltd threatening a CCJ, Baliffs, Attachment of earnings, Property charge, charging order and additional costs.
UNLESS I pay a reduced amount within 48 hours.
A classic scare tactic for a quick payment !!!!
What is worse after the original email I emailed the collection agent twice as there is no contact number. I went into the gym spoke with the manager and followed up the meeting with an email as he requested. I did't receive anything back.
To make this even worse I found out the Gym Franchise has been taken over and the new owners have passed everyone's details to the Agency to collect what they think is outstanding amounts owed the previous owner. A lot of the people being chased didn't even join the gym.
Energie Fitness Please take control of this situation.

I was briefly a member here during COVID. However when I suspened my direct debit during lockdown i was chased for the payment. Olga said it should have been frozen via the app, although it wasn't possible to do until the following month. She apologised and put it on a 2 month hold in which time I gave my notice and left. My wife was also a member there and had her membership on hold to which they unfroze during a lockdown and chased for her payment. Obviously she left too. Olga's obsession with members paying during lockdown was quit off putting, especially as she receiving help from the government.
THEN to my amazement over 3 and half years later....today I received an email from a collection agency threatening legal action. This they said was due to an outstanding balance of 1 months membership £18.99 + £65 Contractual Admin Fees.
No contact number on the email for the collection agent.
The contact number on Energy fb messager 'as they can't message right now' is Out of Service.
The contact number on google in constantly engaged..

The withdrawal declined and the balance disappeared. 20 days later after numerous on line chats and emails I still do not have the monies, even though promised a number of times. When our flights were cancelled we thought we would do the right by them and re book for next year. When the flights were not available we agreed to the voucher. Last week we noticed the flights we required for 2021 had been released, so tried to book them. It was then we realized that we had to book via the customer service number even though they recommended we use the online service for almost everything. They have closed down all other forms of communication to contact them. After trying numerous times for many hours, I actually got through today. It was an overseas call center, a very bad line and delay. After some time 'Ashwani' agreed to price match the online prices, after even longer he said the flights were booked and please hold while he booked the sports equipment. Yet more time on hold until I was cut off.....

Made an online order but was then uncertain if it would fit. I rang up and spoke to Gary who was very helpful, he went to warehouse measured the part I was uncertain about and rang me back to advise. Unfortunately it was not the size I was after, Gary canceled my ordered and issued a refunded. Did not end up buying from them but found them super helpful, friendly and efficient :-)

My Wife passed me a link to this site as I was looking for Vegan Protein for Veganuary. Found it to be really good value for money and happy with the products. I purchased Vegan Protein Extreme and Creatine Monohydrate, both coming at discounted prices. I also received a freeby; Vegan Protein (210g = 7 Servings).
I will certainly be using them again.

Let me start by telling you where I am at the moment. Watchmaster have had my Breitling for the full year and failed to sell it. The contract expired 9 days ago and even after 4 emails (without a response) and a call to the Senior Watch Consultant I am still non the wiser to when and if my watch is going to be returned. My watch is still being advertised for sale on their website even though they are no longer in a position to sell.
The whole process is one I really want to put behind me. My gut feeling was not to go with these guys as it was not what it seemed and that is exactly what it turned out to be !! I am really disappointed in myself and writing this review hoping to help you from making the same mistake.
My experience was that regardless what you are told or what condition your watch is in you will be charged for refurbishment of some sort. Although my watch was in very good condition and that the watch consultant agreed, I was still told that I would be charged for refurbishment. When I questioned this I was told if they did this it would allow them to sell at highest price: 'The Watch will be advertised as good as new, we will have the highest price tag on it' . His words from his email, this was a LIE !!! my watch was placed on the website for only £90 above the minimum sale and £350 short of the highest sale price i had just been told it would be advertise for. Of course I was straight on to my consultant with regards to the pricing and this was his response 'IT is Dynamic pricing, like the flight tickets. IT goes up and down according to real-time traction and real-time highest market price'. Really !?!? please !!!
This is when realized the extent of my mistake !!! The Price soon dropped to the the minimum sale price and then even went under the minimum sale price. OVER 12 MONTHS LATER NO SALE...NO WATCH !!!!
In my experience I would say the truth is stretched and you are told what you what to hear to get you to sell your watch with them.
My consultant was at times rude and dismissive especially when i spoke to him on the phone a couple of days ago. Is it too much to want to know when and how i will be getting my watch back? You have had it for over a year on the back of promises you were never going to keep !!

I have been with RAC for a number of years and had to have a call upon them each of those years I believe. The Guys on the road are always very friendly and helpful. Every renewal the RAC are happy to do you a good deal and this year gave me free upgrades because of my length of time with them. So happy to give a 5 Star review !!

I designed and ordered a first wedding anniversary card for my wife.
I opted for it to receive it on the day of my anniversary but in hindsight should have requested the option to receive addressed to me earlier. Our anniversary came and passed but the card did not arrive. I checked the website and it said wait 3 days i think before ringing them. I waited the requested time and then rang funky pigeon. They advised they could not be accountable for Royal Mail(fair enough) and would I like another card sent or a refund. I requested another as my wife wanted the card. Then low and behold 2 identical cards arrived together a couple of days later. In view of this was the ordinal actually sent in the first place?
