New Edifier speakers rock!
New Edifier R1855DB speakers, spent weeks researching good speakers for my PC, not only in stock in the UK, but cracking price, better than Amazon 3rd party.
Well packaged as I know OC do from previous purchases and even better, great courier company trusted to get them to NE Scotland -- DPD. Perfect.
Arrived on time and now connected via optical input from my Sound Blaster ZX card. Highly recommend both the speakers and OC.

Review of AMDetails
If you haven't used AM Details services/products, you need to start...
Been a fan of the company not long after it's inception, hearing about a local detailer, with their own product range (yet to be tested) -- was pretty unheard of. Open days and visits helped gain more local popularity and some cracking products started to get the team and Alan noticed in UK and globally with the YT detailing channel gaining traction. Top notch personal service time and time again, and now with the team guaranteeing & standing by the product lines (more than other detailing companies do) has now made the company truly international & successful. With the addition/inclusion of the AM Details Community on FB, its only helping strengthen the brand, allowing perfecting & testing of product lines -- love being a sounding board and beta tester.
Review of Autoglass®
Just go direct to Autoglass...
First time going direct to AG rather than via insurance company, had some mixed results with previous efforts/competitors.
This time with AG, perfect repair, Andy my technician, kept in touch when he would arrive, was early, and fixed the chip on driver's side near perfectly, very competent, explained everything, got on with it and was done in half an hour! I was still working from home due to lock-down so was a perfect match.
Cracking service and won't hesitate to use again and recommend AutoGlass. 👍

Avoid and check T&C's carefully...hard to leave
Already told them months ago we were going out to tender for our corp mobile contract (as we always do), so no sneaky 90 day auto-renewal, instead you get slapped with 90 day termination time only when you ask for your PAC code to move a large number of mobiles, even though we're out of contract -- so they charged us excessively for us to leave, £30 PER NUMBER to get the PAC codes. Absolutely disgraceful business behaviour, pretty much been held to ransom, most companies wouldn't be able to pay several thousand pounds to leave in this current climate -- this has been referred to our head-office legal team now.
Avoid using this company and pick an reputable, recommended and trusted company to supply your businesses mobile services and check the T&C's carefully.

good quick service during the global pandemic, and part fitted to the oven in less than 5 minutes - fitted perfectly. if only all online purchases were this good!
Review of MobileFun.co.uk
Good source of genuine accessories
Good site, used it for many years, both personally and professionally. Always hard to find good sites with genuine Samsung accessories and not cheap third party versions, which are not only dangerous, but can damage your device.
Vast selection of screen protectors and cases also helps protect your mobile investments.
Highly recommend this site for all your mobile accessories and devices.
Review of Quantum Tuning Ltd
Experts with tuning NA Mazda petrol engines
I recently had my new Mazda CX-5 Skyactiv-G 165PS 2.0L petrol tuned by Richard @ QT Aberdeen. It’s an incredible difference for a NA engine, now I’d love to have driven my former 2015 Focus ST TDCI with a QT tune, which just had a Pipercross air filter and Bluefin tune for 3 years!! Very few companies have the skill to work with NA engines (no turbo folks!), and after 800 miles, its been worth every penny.
Flat-spots pretty much removed and much better power delivery (2nd & 3rd are great), throttle response and performance is better so I can jump through the nice short shift gears as quick as I like, over-taking is better and still more of a skill, but really well done. I'm heavy with the right foot, but the very quiet petrol engine now has a little growl with the higher revs, working well with the K&N air filter and almost up to 39mpg.
Well worth the hour or so to read the latest 2018 ECU settings and pass down to Quantum HQ for some checking/tweaking/voodoo magic to be certain it was going to work on my 2018 CX-5. 😊
Many thanks to Richard for his explanations, his work done in a wet early evening and also my thanks to the Quantum HQ Team (Terry etc). You now have a customer for life!
More than happy to point more customers your way from the Mazda owner forums!!
Review of The Pipercross Shop
Finally an air filter that works on ST-TDCI
Spoke with one of the PC techs last week (May 2015), about my then new ST3 TDCI, and the problems with migrating my existing K&N 57S-4000 from my old 2012 MK3 2.0 TDCI car. Limp mode on the ST kept kicking on after a few miles. Not good, and K&N say that they have no plans to make one for the ST TDCI, they think they will be low sales of the car!
Your tech said that the Pipercross one for the 2012 MK3 ST and MK3 TDCI would definitely work, almost bet on it actually. So I bought one and it arrived promptly. Fitted, and tested immediately. Here is a copy of what I posted on the FOCUS STOC forums in May 2015:
Very impressed and happy – link also given for other members to buy one too.
========================================================
well fitted and a 24 mile dualer trip done tonight after the rain eased off. Now to test to see if the techy guy on Pipercross's helpline was bang on. It fits very snugly and has a light oil coating, and you can just get the OEM lid back on (nice metal plate to act as the outer edge of the filter. Not much of an induction noise as the cone is sealed, no bungs here (but I'm sure they can develop one)!!
However, with the Bluefin remap already running, the ST was put through its paces (got to love Tyrebagger Hill climb for torque test), at various gears and 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5k rpm, trying to get the car to go into limp mode, after 5 miles (with 57S fully fitted) or 8 miles (with 57S filter + OEM lid).
Happy to report, done to whole run out to Inverurie (12 miles) and back, with cracking performance and not bad noise, coupled with not one blip of the Engine Management light coming on. The filter has now been fitted for the rest of the week's drive to and from work, and it's working fine. Pipercross 1 -- K&N - 0.
** Filter was cleaned once per year, and remained fitted to the ST-TDCI until its removal in Feb 2018, when the car was traded-in **
Review of Arnold Clark
I'd never have thought I'd buy from Arnold Clark again...
Hadn't visited in 12 years, but as part of our research into a comfortable SUV, Mazda CX-5 seemed to be too good to be true, everything else available (9 cars looked at) was up to mid to high thirty thousand's.
CX-5 model with only 3 engines and 2 trim levels, made it a bit easier to compare - we decided to go for a petrol model due to lower annual mileage, so Sport Nav 2WD petrol was easy choice and cost was way under the rest of the field, only the Skoda Karoq was nearest. Some of the features/add-ons were unbelievable for the cost - Bose 10 speaker system, digital HUD display and more.
As much as it pained us to drop Ford & local dealer after many years good service, Mazda and the local Aberdeen dealership made the sums work, the service was very good and manager and sales exec did a great job. The best bit was the exact spec we wanted had recently arrived from Japan and was available almost immediately.
