2 cases broke the same way. Warranty not honoured

My XL case broke, the wheels fell off. It luggage won't honour the warranty and said it's my fault the wheels fell off.
I bought two cases and used them a few times. Identical cases. Wheels fell off both cases the same way after about the same number of trips.
I think it might be better to buy else where if you want a strong case or warranty that's honoured.

The cases where the wheels have torn off have left the exact same wholes in the bottom of the case, showing weakness in exactly the same spot on both cases.
My small case is fine. But the xl cases obviously weren't built strong enough to deal with the weight that can be put in a case of this size.
The damage was done at the airport each time so the case was out of my hands and in the care of airport, surely the cases should be designed to be ok with any stresses they receive at am airport.. apparently IT luggage don't believe so.

However, unfortunately, as advised directly within the email chain, we would advise that from the evidence provided, for the damage to your case to have occurred, significant force would have been required.

This will therefore not be considered a fault within the product itself.

Our warranty guarantees against manufacturing faults or faulty workmanship, however, it does not cover damage howsoever caused.

I can only apologise that we cannot be of further assistance on this occasion.

Nevertheless, please do not hesitate to get back in touch should you require any further assistance in the future at all.

system failures meant i got a bad label…

system failures meant i got a bad label and was out in the cold for ages trying to fix it, then your representative couldnt get the system to make a new working label, wasted car journey to the locker, wasted fuel,30 minutes in freezing cold trying to fix it, no one will speak on the phone. terrible experience

Great product and service A+

Had a few issues with orders, there Customer service team fixed everything straight away, adjusting dates of automated arrivals, and when the 3 month discount want applied they just fixed it straight away.
It's also a great product so good all round. Well done 👏

My suitcase broke after 18 months of a…

My suitcase broke after 18 months of a 10 Yr warranty and they dismissed it immediately and said it was my fault.
I was there and told them I didn't miss handle the bag. They weren't there but apparently they know what happened. Terrible costumer service! Didn't help me in any way when their bag failed, couldn't offer any assistance to fix our get a replacement.

car battery failed - tried to not honour guarantee

car battery failed, ECP didnt want to honour a refund, made me do all the work to prove that it was in guarantee period rather than look at their own systems or website. refused my refund for a while but when I showed them a mountain of evidence from their own website and invoice they finally said they'll refund me, with no apology, I'm still awaiting the refund to arrive.

Box decided to keep my money & items.

- Update - 5 days later I've checked my account - you still haven't refunded me anything! so you've bothered to reply on trust pilot but not taken the time to give my money back. And you most certainly didn't inform me or take initiative as I've had to chase up many times where the product was, and now I'm having to chase up a refund!

I bought an expensive SSD, a "Samsung 980 evo nvme" with express postage, 2 weeks later after contacting them 3 times they have now finally informed me I won't ever receive my item, as they decided it was listed too cheap on the website so they don't want to send it to me, they are considering giving me a refund after I asked for my money back but this has to be decided by higher up powers and can't be done at the moment so I just have to wait and see if that happens.

left us stranded in egypt with no…

left us stranded in egypt with no assistance.

wont refund us for hotels and transport incurred.

broke 3 suitcases.
all above in one flight.

next flight we'd booked they've changed the dates and thought that was fine, now kicking up a fuss when refunding. also the car park booking we made on their website they've told us we need to chase that up ourselves, find the company they wont give us details for to get a refund from them seperately

Dave, sorry it wasn't able to find you savings right away. Piggy scans all coupons and promo codes on the internet and applies them for you. Even though those few seconds of time seemed like a waste. When searching for promo codes manually, you will likely find that would've resulted in the same outcome with far more time. Keep using Piggy it's bound to payoff, when it does, it's usually in a big way!

Great gear with a smile!

Been going to Edgeriders for over a decade now! That's crazy to think about, whether it's the completely lovely Eva, the devilishly hansom charlie who shares my birthday :), tech savvy simon or others, its always a welcoming and informative place to get your kit. My last purchase was a few months back for a load of ski gear and go pro accessories, great prices and a GIGANTIC range of equipment in Stock and on the shelves. .It really is crazy, it's like toys r us for big kids :)
