Simply brilliant! Defy the odds - Inverness to John O’Groats Challenge

Just finished the Inverness to John O’Groats cycle challenge.

Alan and the team at CC were simply brilliant. For what must have been a logistical nightmare, the experience was seamless. From bike collections; accommodation; to catering; car transportation and most of all support and motivation.

The best teams operate tirelessly behind the scenes to make for a fantastic experience for the end user. Alan’s team is definitely one of these!

Thank you so much to Alan, Lorraine, Mike, Trevor, Mark, Selina, and anyone else I’ve missed.

Highly recommend.

Fabulous service

Fabulous service. I ordered a bunch of items, one of which wasn’t the right one and Ben helpfully called me to explain options. Ben kept brilliant contact throughout until the delivery date. Super impressed and products were spot on. Highly recommend.

Adam was excellent throughout!
Not only did he piece our mortgage application for us within extremely short timescales, he also secured a fantastic deal through Guardian Advice's exclusive access to a range of mortgage intermediary channels.
Working in Banking, my expectations were high. I'm pleased to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the capability of this small yet effective team.

Jodi Armsby-Ward - Thank you! 10/10

Jodi was extremely eloquent & professional in explaining the service that she could provide, and guided me through the process of selling my house step by step. Jodi built an instant rapport within seconds of being on the phone, this put me at ease and gave me confidence (that never happens given my conservative nature!).
I did eventually go with a local agent despite a difference in price. The reason for this is that the local agent was able to pre-book three viewings on the basis that they had the ability to pro-actively approach potential buyers, as opposed to having to wait for them to reach out via the internet.
On the basis that we are particularly keen to move fast, and, that the agent was happy to negotiate on their fees (albeit still more expensive) - I was happy to take a risk and offset the cost given their confidence of a quick sell.
Jodie took my feedback professionally, and even offered informal advice about securing a 0 weekly contract with the local agent given their confidence. She also welcomed the opportunity to secure my business, if a sale didn't come to fruition which I thought was excellent.

Overall, my experience with Jodie was 10/10 from a customer service perspective - really impressed (I work in a service providing role - I'd have her on my team!). If Purplebricks were able to imitate the local agent's ability to reach out to prospective buyers before they get online, then I think they could raise the bar on their competitive pricing edge.
