The system failed to accept my payment card despite trying 5 different cards. I reported the issue to Pure Gyms team and nothing was done in 48hrs. I was sent an offer which i really wanted to use in rejoining. Delay in resolving the issues now allowed the offer to expire. Terrible customer response time

Clean, well equipped and professionally manned branch of Specsavers. They do not keep u waiting as its mostly on appointment. They also accomodate u if u arrive earlier than your appointment.
However, the special deals on frames/lens appear to reduce with each visit. Had better offers from the Kent branch two yrs ago and they still run these offers.

Not a bad gym with a wide range of equipment to suit all levels but... That smell from the male toilet needs a permanent solution. It must be a drainage issue because toilet is often cleaned. If you can, change into ur gym wear at home and avoid the male changing room/toilet Monthly Prices are fantastic. Add the unlimited drinks for £3 extra a month. Worth it!!

Placed an order for Test to Release Covid kit and within 10mins of ordering, I called Myhealthchecked to cancel because I realised there was an issue with delivering as I wont have access to the property. I was assured my order will be cancelled. I called again 4hrs later to be sure and was told same. 8hrs later, I got a mail saying my order had been posted. I called a 3rd time to find out why a supposedly cancelled order, had been posted. I was told it was too late to cancel at that point and couldnt explain why my two earlier calls did not result in cancellations.. I was advised to wait and receive the delivery, then return for a refund. Clearly, this is impossible since I wont have access to the property as earlier stated. I feel cheated and scammed. There was a deliberate attempt to delay cancelling the order for 8hours to fleece me. It was nothing more than a scam which deprived me of nearly £300 despite all efforts to avert it.

After investigation we can see that a cancellation request was made on your behalf to the order processing team by one of our customer experience agents on the 9th of April, which is the same day you placed your order, although we appreciate the agent would have advised you that they could not guarantee this until it was confirmed your order had not been dispatched.
To manage our customers’ expectations, you would have been informed of what would happen if your order had already been dispatched, which in your case did not happen as we actioned your request and your order was cancelled and as a result it was not shipped to you and as per our cancellation and refund policy you will receive a full refund.
Total waste of money. Took 12days to get my parcel across the Atlantic with TNT. They couldn't tell me exactly where my parcel was as a particular time. Only good at saying sorry. At one point, they even suggested I waited 7 MORE days before complaining.
My advise: use them to get quotes and then book directly with the carrier. Parcel compare is just a middleman that provides NO SERVICE for a fee. Why bother
Sold a trans-atlantic ticket to Lagos on Virgin, which allowed no luggage. Was made to pay £110 extra (each way) for 2 luggages. Opodo never made this clear at the time of booking. Terrible experience and wont use again
